Lerums gymnasium

Lerum Municipality (Lerums kommun) is a municipality in Västra Götaland County in western Sweden, situated just east of Gothenburg. Its seat is located in the town of Lerum. In 1969 the municipality got its present size when "old" Lerum was amalgamated with Skallsjö and Stora Lundby. In 2007, Lerum Municipality launched a new logotype to be used instead of its official municipal coat of arms which features the head of an ox and three oak leaves. Municipal officials and PR staff felt the coat "outdated". Although no longer used, the coat of arms still has official status. The new logotype features a multi-coloured weaving pattern.

Härryda (Swedish pronunciation: [ˈhæ̂ˌrːyːda]) is a locality situated in Härryda Municipality, Västra Götaland County, Sweden. It had 968 inhabitants in 2010. Despite its name it is not the seat of the municipality, which is the much larger Mölnlycke. Härryda is the closest locality from the Göteborg Landvetter Airport, three kilometers (2 miles) from the terminal building. It is located right under the flight path, so there is a high noise level. Many residents work at the airport and are therefore more forgiving against airplane noise.

Floda is a locality situated in Lerum Municipality, Västra Götaland County, Sweden. It had 8,021 inhabitants in 2010 and is situated 54 meters above sea level at Lake Sävelångens entrance to River Säveån. Floda has a station on the Gothenburg commuter rail system, Alingsås line. The station house was completed in 1903, but has gone through many changes since then. Skallsjö Church in Floda was built in 1861–1863 to replace what today is the Skallsjö Church ruins, situated two kilometers to the south-west of the church. Furulund is a locality situated in Partille Municipality, Västra Götaland County, SwedenFurulund is located on the hill to the south, along the road between the E20 in the suburbs and Riksväg 40 in Landvetter. In the community there is an elementary school Furulund School ("Furan" for grades 1-5 and "Lunden" for grades 6-9), Furulund Church, retirement homes, grocery store (Matöppet), hairdresser, pizzeria and two kiosks. Furulund is surrounded by forests. In west the forest continues about 8 km to Gothenburgs eastern part (over the nature reserves and Knipeflågsbergen Delsjö area). In the east the forest stretches all the way to municipal boundary of Lerum and Härryda. In the south is an area called Åstebo with stables and Partille Hostel, and the lake Kåsjön, with a popular beach for the local population. Almost directly west of Furulunds Centrum lies the lake Prästtjärnen and South East lies the lake Maderna. The buildings in Furulund has grown large over the last 30 years. Since Furulund is located over 100 meters higher than Gothenburg and many days the temperature is around 0, so Furulund usually have more snow, which remains longer than in the valley in Partille.
