Brantingham is a village and civil parish in the East Riding of Yorkshire, England, about 2 miles (3 km) north of Brough, 12 miles (19 km) west of Hull and north of the A63 road. The 2011 UK Census gave the parish had a population of 370, marking a decrease from the 2001 UK census figure of 410. The 2019 estimate was 319.

Ellerker is a village and civil parish in the East Riding of Yorkshire, England. It is situated approximately 10 miles (16 km) west of Hull city centre and 13 miles (21 km) east of the market town of Howden. It lies 1 mile (1.6 km) south of the A63 road junction with the A1034 road. According to the 2011 UK Census, Ellerker parish had a population of 307, a decrease on the 2001 UK Census figure of 320. Ellerker lies within the Parliamentary constituency of Haltemprice and Howden an area that mainly consists of middle class suburbs, towns and villages. The area is affluent and has one of the highest proportions of owner-occupiers in the country.'Ellerker' means a "marsh where alder trees grow", from Old English alor or aler "alder" and Old Norse kjarr "marsh". The name was recorded as Alrecher in the 11th century and Alekirr in 1139. Same name as Orcher (Normandy, Aurichier 12th century).In 1823, Ellerker was in the parish of Brantingham and the Wapentake of Howdenshire. Village population was 249, including eight farmers, a corn miller, a shopkeeper, a tailor, a shoemaker, and a carpenter. Also listed in directories were three yeomen and a curate of the village church. Once a week a carrier operated from the village to Hull and Wilton.The village church is dedicated to St Anne and is designated as a Grade II listed building.Sir Rafe Ellerker is cited in Part 1 of the title 'The Last Years of a Frontier' — D. L. W. Tough, concerning his survey of the Border Marches, 1541.

Elloughton is a village in the East Riding of Yorkshire, England. It is situated approximately 12 miles (19 km) to the west of Hull to the south of the A63 road. It lies on the southern end of the Yorkshire Wolds. It is conjoined with Brough that lies to the south-east, with which it forms the civil parish of Elloughton-cum-Brough. Elloughton lies within the Parliamentary constituency of Haltemprice and Howden. The church dedicated to St Mary was designated a Grade II* listed building in 1968 and is now recorded in the National Heritage List for England, maintained by Historic England. In 1823, Elloughton was in the Wapentake of Harthill, a part of the Liberty of St Peter's. The patron of the Church of St Mary was the York Minster prebendary of Wetwang. Within the village was a Methodist and a Calvinist chapel. The village had a population of 318, with occupations including six farmers, two carpenters, two tailors, a blacksmith, a shoemaker, and a bricklayer. Also directory-listed were three yeomen, a school master, a gentlewoman, and a curate. Once a week two carriers operated between the village and Hull.

Brantingham Thorpe is a Grade II listed country house near Brantingham in the East Riding of Yorkshire, England. It was once owned by the Sykes family of Sledmere. According to Francis Orpen Morris (1880) "Brantingham Thorpe stands on a high terrace commanding a most extensive and beautiful view of the course of the river Humber for more than twenty miles." George Devey worked on the house.It is currently the registered address of a Care Home company.

Petuaria (or Petuaria Parisorum) was originally a Roman fort situated where the town of Brough in the East Riding of Yorkshire now stands. Petuaria means something like 'quarter' or 'fourth part', incorporating the archaic Brythonic *petuar, 'four' (compare modern Welsh pedwar). It was founded in 70 AD and abandoned in about 125. The adjacent civitas (civil town), ferry-crossing and (attested) port which grew over and replaced the fort survived until about 370, and was probably the capital of the Celtic tribe called the Parisi. Petuaria marked the southern end of the Roman road known now as Cade's Road, which ran roughly northwards for a hundred miles to Pons Aelius (modern day Newcastle upon Tyne). The section from Petuaria to Eboracum (York) was also the final section of Ermine Street.

It is situated approximately 14 miles (23 km) to the west of Hull city centre on the A1034 road just to the north of the A63 road. North Cave is approximately 2 miles (3 km) to the north-west. South Cave formerly held a town charter that has lapsed and the parish council no longer styles itself as a town.The civil parish is formed by the village of South Cave, the hamlet of Drewton and part of the hamlet of Riplingham. According to the 2011 UK Census, South Cave parish had a population of 4,823, an increase on the 2001 UK Census figure of 4,515.South Cave lies within the Parliamentary constituency of Haltemprice and Howden.

Brough railway station serves the town of Brough in the East Riding of Yorkshire, England. It is managed by TransPennine Express, and also served by Northern, Hull Trains and London North Eastern Railway. The station was originally opened by the Hull and Selby Railway in 1840 and at one time had four tracks passing through. The course of the additional outer tracks (and the two disused platform faces) are still visible, although these were removed in the early 1970s.

Brough ( BRUF, locally ) is a town in the East Riding of Yorkshire, England. It is part of the civil parish of Elloughton-cum-Brough with the neighbouring village of Elloughton. Brough is situated on the northern bank of the Humber Estuary, approximately 12 miles (19 km) west of Hull city centre. Brough has a long association with BAE Systems.

South Cave Town Hall is a municipal building in the Market Place, South Cave, East Riding of Yorkshire, England. The building, which is the meeting place of South Cave Parish Council, is a Grade II listed building.

Elloughton-cum-Brough is a civil parish in the East Riding of Yorkshire, England. It is situated 12 miles (19 km) to the west of Hull city centre and covering an area of 975.545 hectares (2,410.62 acres).It comprises the town of Brough and the village of Elloughton. In 2011, the parish council resolved to be called the Elloughton-cum-Brough Town Council.According to the 2011 UK census, Elloughton-cum-Brough parish had a population of 10,075, an increase on the 2001 UK census figure of 7,388.

Brough Aerodrome (ICAO: EGNB) was a private use aerodrome located at Brough, East Riding of Yorkshire, England. It is now disused with the last known flight out of the airfield occurring in 2011. The airfield closed in 2013. The site is now crossed by a new road "Baffin Way" serving the town.

Weedley Tunnel at grid reference SE 935 331 is a disused tunnel on the former Hull and Barnsley Railway. Weedley Tunnel is 132 yards (121 m) long with a slight curvature. It was originally built to carry two tracks. Access to the tunnel is now restricted, as gates were installed on both portals in 2010. The tunnel is cut through chalk and brick lined throughout and is in relatively good condition when compared to Sugar Loaf Tunnel further east and the much longer Drewton Tunnel. Weedley Tunnel is now used as an access route for the Drewton Estate.
