As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 419 and an area of 8.1 square kilometres (3.1 sq mi).Neviglie borders the following municipalities: Mango, Neive, Treiso, and Trezzo Tinella.

Trezzo Tinella is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Cuneo in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 50 kilometres (31 mi) southeast of Turin and about 50 kilometres northeast of Cuneo. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 350 and an area of 10.4 square kilometres (4.0 sq mi).The small and affable commune of Trezzo Tinella is located high in the Langa region. It occupies a very large territory situated at different elevations from 304 to 712 metres (997 to 2,336 ft) above sea level. At the centre of the commune is a church and the town hall. There was once a castle, the final tower of the castle collapsed in 1969. There was also a nursery and school which was closed in 1986. Trezzo Tinella has dairy farms, vineyards, hazelnut groves and houses. A number of the buildings date back to Roman Times and the names derive from this era. Trezzo Tinella borders the following municipalities: Alba, Borgomale, Castino, Mango, Neviglie, and Treiso.

Bruno Giacosa (died 21 January 2018) was an Italian wine producer from the village Neive in the Langhe region (Piemonte), who produced a number of Barbaresco and Barolo wines, as well as bottlings of Arneis, Barbera, Dolcetto and a sparkling wine. Wines produced from owned vineyards are bottled under the label Azienda Agricola Falletto (di Bruno Giacosa), wines from bought grapes or from grapes from leased vineyards under the label Casa Vinicola Bruno Giacosa. In terms of the production of Nebbiolo, Giacosa was considered a traditionalist. He has been described as the "Genius of Neive".

As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 3,711 and an area of 21.4 square kilometres (8.3 sq mi).The municipality of Castagnole delle Lanze contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Annunziata, Carossi, Farinere, Olmo, Rivella, San Bartolomeo, San Grato, San Defendente, San Rocco, San Pietro, Santa Maria, Valle Tanaro, and Val Bera. Castagnole delle Lanze borders the following municipalities: Castiglione Tinella, Coazzolo, Costigliole d'Asti, Govone, Magliano Alfieri, and Neive. It is one of I Borghi più belli d'Italia ("The most beautiful villages of Italy").

Benevello is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Cuneo in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 60 kilometres (37 mi) southeast of Turin and about 50 kilometres (31 mi) northeast of Cuneo. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 451 and an area of 5.4 square kilometres (2.1 sq mi).Benevello borders the following municipalities: Alba, Borgomale, Diano d'Alba, Lequio Berria, and Rodello.

Barbaresco is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Cuneo in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 50 kilometres (31 mi) southeast of Turin and about 60 kilometres (37 mi) northeast of Cuneo. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 656 and an area of 7.6 square kilometres (2.9 sq mi). The commune is principally known for its homonymous medieval tower, constructed between the 12th and 14th centuries, and its production of wine bearing the same name. Barbaresco borders the following municipalities: Alba, Castagnito, Guarene, Neive, and Treiso.

Gaja is an Italian wine producer from the Piemonte region in the district of Langhe, chiefly producing a number of Barbaresco and Barolo wines, and later diversified into Brunello di Montalcino and "Super Tuscan" production. Its current owner and president Angelo Gaja is credited with developing techniques that have revolutionised winemaking in Italy, and terms such as "the undisputed king of Barbaresco", and "the man who dragged Piedmont into the modern world" have been applied to him, and whose Barbaresco wine is considered a status symbol on a par with Château Lafite Rothschild or Champagne Krug.Additionally, Gaja Distribuzione imports to Italy high-end wines from elsewhere in the world including Champagne, Sauternes and Bordeaux, Spanish and Californian wine, as well as spirits and glassware.

Poderi Colla is an Italian winery, based in Barolo, Piedmont, Italy. It was established by Ernesto "Tino" Colla and his niece Federica in 1993. Poderi Colla has three vineyards covering some 70 acres, Cascina Drago and Tenuta Dardi Le Rase in Barolo and Tenuta Roncaglie in Barbaresco. Wine Opus described the wines as "impressive, traditional-leaning wines", describing their Barolo Bussia as "a firm, powerful expression of Nebbiolo", but said that their Barbaresco Roncaglie "shows more finesse and elegance". Cincinnati Magazine described their 2002 Barbera d'Alba as of "really serious quality". Australian winemaker Ben Cane worked for Poderi Colla for some time.
