Neive is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Cuneo in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 50 kilometres (31 mi) southeast of Turin and about 60 kilometres (37 mi) northeast of Cuneo. Neive borders the following municipalities: Barbaresco, Castagnito, Castagnole delle Lanze, Coazzolo, Magliano Alfieri, Mango, Neviglie, and Treiso.It is a member of the I Borghi più belli d'Italia ("The most beautiful villages of Italy") association.

Barbaresco is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Cuneo in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 50 kilometres (31 mi) southeast of Turin and about 60 kilometres (37 mi) northeast of Cuneo. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 656 and an area of 7.6 square kilometres (2.9 sq mi). The commune is principally known for its homonymous medieval tower, constructed between the 12th and 14th centuries, and its production of wine bearing the same name. Barbaresco borders the following municipalities: Alba, Castagnito, Guarene, Neive, and Treiso.

As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 419 and an area of 8.1 square kilometres (3.1 sq mi).Neviglie borders the following municipalities: Mango, Neive, Treiso, and Trezzo Tinella.

Trezzo Tinella is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Cuneo in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 50 kilometres (31 mi) southeast of Turin and about 50 kilometres northeast of Cuneo. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 350 and an area of 10.4 square kilometres (4.0 sq mi).The small and affable commune of Trezzo Tinella is located high in the Langa region. It occupies a very large territory situated at different elevations from 304 to 712 metres (997 to 2,336 ft) above sea level. At the centre of the commune is a church and the town hall. There was once a castle, the final tower of the castle collapsed in 1969. There was also a nursery and school which was closed in 1986. Trezzo Tinella has dairy farms, vineyards, hazelnut groves and houses. A number of the buildings date back to Roman Times and the names derive from this era. Trezzo Tinella borders the following municipalities: Alba, Borgomale, Castino, Mango, Neviglie, and Treiso.

As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 3,711 and an area of 21.4 square kilometres (8.3 sq mi).The municipality of Castagnole delle Lanze contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Annunziata, Carossi, Farinere, Olmo, Rivella, San Bartolomeo, San Grato, San Defendente, San Rocco, San Pietro, Santa Maria, Valle Tanaro, and Val Bera. Castagnole delle Lanze borders the following municipalities: Castiglione Tinella, Coazzolo, Costigliole d'Asti, Govone, Magliano Alfieri, and Neive. It is one of I Borghi più belli d'Italia ("The most beautiful villages of Italy").

As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,726 and an area of 9.5 square kilometres (3.7 sq mi).Magliano Alfieri borders the following municipalities: Castagnito, Castagnole delle Lanze, Castellinaldo, Govone, Neive, and Priocca.

Poderi Colla is an Italian winery, based in Barolo, Piedmont, Italy. It was established by Ernesto "Tino" Colla and his niece Federica in 1993. Poderi Colla has three vineyards covering some 70 acres, Cascina Drago and Tenuta Dardi Le Rase in Barolo and Tenuta Roncaglie in Barbaresco. Wine Opus described the wines as "impressive, traditional-leaning wines", describing their Barolo Bussia as "a firm, powerful expression of Nebbiolo", but said that their Barbaresco Roncaglie "shows more finesse and elegance". Cincinnati Magazine described their 2002 Barbera d'Alba as of "really serious quality". Australian winemaker Ben Cane worked for Poderi Colla for some time.

As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,979 and an area of 9.1 square kilometres (3.5 sq mi).Priocca borders the following municipalities: Canale, Castellinaldo, Govone, Magliano Alfieri, and San Damiano d'Asti.

Govone (Gon [gʊŋ] or Govon [gʊ'ʊŋ]) is an Italian town of 2,294 inhabitants in the province of Cuneo in Piedmont. It is part of the historical region of Roero and is located on the border with the province of Asti, about halfway between the cities of Alba and Asti. The site has been inhabited since Roman times, as evidenced by numerous findings, and is mentioned in early medieval documents. Formerly a bishopric fief, then passed to the property of the Solaro family of Asti, it was later a resort for the House of Savoy in the early decades of the nineteenth century. It is now known above all for its castle, in which the philosopher Jean-Jacques Rousseau, who has just entered the service of Count Ottavio Solaro, stayed when he was just eighteen years old (year 1730).
