East Bilney

Stanfield (English: ) is a civil parish in the English county of Norfolk. It covers an area of 3.80 km2 (1.47 sq mi) and had a population of 162 in 2011, and 144 at the 2001 census. For the purposes of local government, it falls within the district of Breckland. Stanfield belongs to the Parliamentary Constituency of Mid-Norfolk and is currently governed by George Freeman as their member of Parliament who is representative of the Conservative Party.

Brisley is a village and civil parish in the English county of Norfolk. Brisley is located 5.7 miles (9.2 km) north of Dereham and 19 miles (31 km) north-west of Norwich.

Bittering is a hamlet in the county of Norfolk, England, now in the civil parish of Beeston with Bittering. It lies west of East Dereham and south of Fakenham. The area was formerly Little Bittering parish, which was annexed to the neighbouring Beeston. The mediaeval church of St Peter is a Grade II* listed building.

Panford Beck is a minor watercourse that is entirely in the county of Norfolk, eastern England. This small short beck rises within the Parish of North Elmham a mile north east of the village of Brisley (grid reference TF956228). The beck is a tributary of the Black Water which eventually joins the River Wensum. The headwater is a small pool by the side of a lane. From here the beck flows south across open farmland where various streams and ditches contribute to its flow. After a distance of 2.5 miles (4.0 km) it joins the Black Water.

Horningtoft is a village and civil parish in the English county of Norfolk. It covers an area of 5.73 km2 (2.21 sq mi) and had a population of 135 in 54 households at the 2001 census, reducing to a population of 127 in 53 households at the 2011 Census. For the purposes of local government, it falls within the district of Breckland. The villages name means 'Curtilage of the Horningas (= dwellers at the horn-shaped piece of land)'. The village approximately 5 miles north of East Dereham. It is close to the villages of Whissonsett and Brisley. The village has a Danish Camp to its eastern end.

Longham is a village situated in the Breckland District of Norfolk and covers an area of 540 hectares (2.1 square miles) with a population of 219 in 100 households at the 2001 census, increasing to a population of 224 in 99 households at the 2011 Census. Longham lies 5 miles (8.0 km) north-west of Dereham and 11 miles (18 km) south of Fakenham. The villages name means 'homestead/village of Lawa's people'. Longham is served by the mediaeval church of St. Andrew & St. Peter in the Benefice of Gressenhall. It is a grade II* listed building.

Horningtoft Wood is a 8.3-hectare (21-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest south of Fakenham in Norfolk. This ancient coppice with standards wood on boulder clay has exceptionally diverse ground flora with several rare species. There are scattered mature oaks and the main coppiced species are hazel, ash and maple. The ground flora is dominated by dog's mercury on heavy soils and bramble on lighter ones. The site is private land with no public access.

Beetley is a village and civil parish in the Breckland district of Norfolk, England. According to the 2011 census the parish had a population of 1,396. The village is situated four miles (6 km) north of East Dereham.

Horse Wood, Mileham is a 7.1-hectare (18-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest north-west of Dereham in Norfolk.This is an ancient coppice with standards wood on boulder clay, and the ground flora is diverse with several rare species. There are wide and wet rides which have plants such as herb paris, valerian and water mint.

Gressenhall is a village and civil parish in the English county of Norfolk. The villages name origin is uncertain possibly 'Grassy nook of land' or 'gravelly nook of land'. It covers an area of 10.53 km2 (4.07 sq mi) and had a population of 1,008 in 443 households at the 2001 census, increasing to a population of 1,050 in 459 households at the 2011 Census. For the purposes of local government, it falls within the district of Breckland. The village is on the River Nar close to Dereham in Norfolk.

Gateley is a village and civil parish in the Breckland district of Norfolk, England.

Dillington Carr is a 55-hectare (140-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest north of Dereham in Norfolk.This valley in a tributary of the River Wensum has extensive irrigation reservoirs and areas of carr woodland. An outstanding variety of birds breed on the site, including gadwalls, great crested grebe and tufted ducks on the reservoirs and barn owls, lesser spotted woodpeckers and willow tit in the woodland.The site is private land with no public access.
