Consell Observatory (Spanish: Observatorio Astronómico de Consell and Catalan: Observatori Astronòmic de Consell; observatory code: 176) is an astronomical observatory owned and operated by the Latin American League of Astronomy. It is located at an altitude of 130 metres (430 ft) in Consell on Majorca island, which is part of Spain.

The Taifa of Majorca was a medieval Islamic taifa kingdom which existed from 1018 to 1203 in Majorca. It was founded by the Slavic warlord Mujāhid al-ʿĀmirī. The first taifa lasted for about 50 years (1076-1116), first succumbing to a Christian crusade and later being occupied by the Almoravids. After a period in which the Balearic Islands were integrated into the Almoravid Empire, it ended up disintegrating, suffering the same fate as the Caliphate of Córdoba. It was ruled by the Aghlabid dynasty, an Arab Najdi dynasty of the Banu Tamim tribe. A new, independent kingdom arose, the second taifa (1147-1203), under the Banu Ghaniya dynasty, which would become the last Almoravid stronghold in Al-Andalus against the Almohads' advance.

Puig de Sant Miquel is a 661-metre (2,169 ft) mountain in the Serra de Tramuntana of Majorca. It is included in the municipality of Alaró of the autonomous community of the Balearic Islands. The Puig de Sant Miquel is located between s'Alcadena and the Finca Solleric, near the old path to Orient.

Raiguer (Catalan: [rəjˈɣe]) is a comarca (county) located in the north-central part of Majorca, one of the Balearic Islands of Spain. Inca (Catalan pronunciation: [ˈiŋkə]) is a town on the Spanish island of Mallorca. The population of the municipality is 32,137 (2018) in an area of 58.4 km². There is a junction station Mallorca rail network with trains to Palma, the island's capital, to Sa Pobla, and to Manacor. Inca is home of the footwear company "Camper". Inca is known for its wine cellars. The town, like its neighboring municipality Binissalem, was a mass producer of wine from the 17th to 19th centuries when phylloxera destroyed the industry and its inhabitants turned to other activities such as tanning and leather craftsmanship. Many old wine cellars are being used as restaurants for serving traditional Mallorcan dishes like sopes mallorquines, tombet and gató d'ametlles.
