The Embassy of North Korea in Mexico City is the diplomatic mission of North Korea to Mexico, located in the capital Mexico City.

On 31 January 2013 in Mexico City, an explosion caused by a gas leak occurred beneath Building B-2 at the Torre Ejecutiva Pemex (Pemex Executive Tower), a skyscraper complex that is the headquarters of Pemex, the Mexican state oil company. At least 37 people died and another 121 were injured when an explosion occurred in a building adjacent to the main tower. Earlier in the day, Pemex sent out a tweet saying that the building was being evacuated due to a "problem with the electrical system" in the complex that includes the skyscraper.

The Pemex Executive Tower (Spanish: Torre Ejecutiva Pemex) is a skyscraper in Mexico City. The 211-metre (692 ft) international style tower was built between 1979 and 1984. Since the building's opening, it has been occupied by state-owned Pemex, one of the largest petroleum companies in the world.

The National Council to Prevent Discrimination (Spanish: Consejo Nacional para Prevenir La Discriminación; CONAPRED) is a Mexican government agency created in 2003 by Federal Law to Prevent and Eliminate Discrimination and to promote policies and measures to contribute to the cultural and social development and progress in social inclusion and guarantee the right to equality.

Plaza de las Estrellas is a shopping center located in the northwest part of central Mexico City, inside a triangle created by the crossing of three major thoroughfares: Circuito Interior, Av. Marina Nacional, and Eje 2 Bahía de la Ascención, in Colonia Verónica Anzures, Miguel Hidalgo borough. The mall was built in 1982. It is best known as the site of the Paseo de las Luminarias, the Mexican equivalent of the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Gloria Funtanet, one of the Plaza's developers, created the Paseo to honor Mexicans and Latin-Americans in showbusiness, most notably the motion picture, television, theatrical, and recording industries, of which Mexico City is the center in Latin America. Since the Paseo's dedication, which coincided with the Plaza's opening, over 1,000 entertainers, mostly from Mexico, have been inducted. The inductees are honored with a star and their handprints embedded on square tiles. The Paseo is located in the upper level of the shopping center, and doubles as the main walkway to and from the stores located on that level. The Paseo is the Plaza's main attraction. The Plaza is without a major department store anchor, but has a Cinemex movie theater, Sanborns, Smartfit gym, Vips restaurant and several dozen other shops, restaurants, banks, a food court and a hotel (El Hotel del Prado).

Museo Rufino Tamayo is a public contemporary art museum located in Mexico City's Chapultepec Park, that produces contemporary art exhibitions, using its collection of modern and contemporary art, as well as artworks from the collection of its founder, the artist Rufino Tamayo.

The Canadian Embassy building in Mexico City was designed by Étienne Gaboury of Winnipeg, previously noted as a church architect, and was inaugurated in 1982. Located at Schiller 529, Col. Bosque de Chapultepec (Polanco), it is a "celebrated" design which features many metaphors meant to evoke various natural landscapes of Canada, as well as integrating a Spanish colonial style courtyard. The total area of the building is 6,500 square metres (70,000 sq ft), including an artium on the first floor, a multipurpose room for hosting events, and an employee cafeteria. The two upper floors contain the diplomatic, cultural, and business offices. Artwork inside the building includes silk banners in autumn colours by Takeo Tanabe and a large wooden totem pole by Tony Hunt.The embassy delivers a wide variety of services including consular, international business development, and general relations programs by 28 Canada-based diplomats, who are supported by 81 locally-engaged employees.This building was part of a wave of Canadian embassy construction during the 1970s and 80s meant to win Canada more international exposure and to demonstrate the success of Canadian federalism and internationalism.

The statue of Heydar Aliyev is a bronze sculpture of the third president of Azerbaijan, Heydar Aliyev, previously installed along Paseo de la Reforma, in Chapultepec, Miguel Hidalgo, Mexico City. In the early 2010s, the embassy of Azerbaijan in Mexico donated two statues to the city: the first being the statue of Aliyev, installed on 22 August 2012 in Mexico-Azerbaijan Friendship Park in Chapultepec; the second, a woman mourning the Khojaly massacre, was placed in Tlaxcoaque Plaza, in the historic center of the city. According to Ilgar Mukhtarov, Azerbaijan Ambassador to Mexico, both statues were given to the country to show appreciation for being one of the first to recognize the independence of Azerbaijan.After its installation, the statue of Aliyev received protests from neighbors and human rights activists, who called it "disrespectful and insensitive" due to his controversial political background; the Azeri community, however, supported the installation. On 26 January 2013, the government of Mexico City removed the statue and returned it to the embassy. Since then, the location and status of the statue are not publicly known.

Colonia Cuauhtémoc is a colonia (official neighborhood) in the Cuauhtémoc municipality of central Mexico City. It is located just north of Paseo de la Reforma, west of the historic center of Mexico City. The colonia was created in the late 19th century after some false starts, and is named after the Monument to Cuauhtémoc which is a nearby landmark on Paseo de la Reforma. Actions taken by residents have ensured that the area remains mostly residential, with commercial development limited to the strip along Paseo de la Reforma. This strip includes a number of important buildings such as the Mexican Stock Exchange, the Torre Mayor, the Torre HSBC, the British Embassy, and the United States Embassy.

Parques Polanco is a 16,924-square-metre (4.182-acre) mixed-use development in Mexico City at Lago Alberto street #320, Colonia Granada in the new business and residential area of Nuevo Polanco, Mexico City. It was built on the site of Fábricas Automex/Lago Alberto Assembly, a Chrysler assembly plant. The complex includes: in Phase I, 5 apartment complexes designed by Higuera + Sánchez, A5 Arquitectura, Ten Arquitectos y KMD México in Phase II, two towers designed by Edmonds Internacional. in Phase III and IV two towers designed by Arditti Arquitectos a retail area with banks, restaurants, shops and a large Sport City gym a central park designed by Kees Van Rooij, winner of the AMDI 2010 award in the landscape architecture category the 32-story, 449-foot (137 m) BBVA Bancomer back office building (under construction)The complex has received 2nd place award in the XVIII edition of the "Premio Obras Cemex" awards in the category "Commercial and Mixed Use" (Comercial y de Usos Mixtos).

The statue of José Gervasio Artigas is installed in Mexico City's Plaza Uruguay, in Mexico. The sculpture is made of bronze.

The Torre Reforma is a Mexico City skyscraper with a height of 807 feet (246 m) to the roof and housing 57 stories, in 2016 it became the tallest skyscraper in Mexico City, exceeding both Torre BBVA Bancomer at 771 feet (235 m) located just across the street, and Torre Mayor at 739.5 feet (225.4 m) located next to it. Construction began in May 2008. The complex hosts a restaurant, a shopping mall, entertainment areas and the DOOM International's Reforma Gym. The construction of the building was managed by Vertical Capital Group while LBR and Architects was charge of development.
