The Warren Hills Regional School District is comprehensive public school district located in Warren County, New Jersey, United States, that serves seventh grade through twelfth grades. The school offers a comprehensive education for students in ninth through twelfth grades. The student population includes students from Franklin Township, Mansfield Township, Oxford Township, Washington Borough and Washington Township. The school has been accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Elementary and Secondary Schools since 2014.As of the 2021–22 school year, the school had an enrollment of 1,126 students and 97.6 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 11.5:1. There were 83 students (7.4% of enrollment) eligible for free lunch and none eligible for reduced-cost lunch.

Washington is a borough in Warren County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. As of the 2020 United States census, the borough's population was 7,299, an increase of 838 (+13.0%) from the 2010 census count of 6,461, which in turn reflected a decline of 251 (−3.7%) from the 6,712 counted in the 2000 census.Washington was incorporated as a borough by an act of the New Jersey Legislature on February 20, 1868, from portions of Washington Township. The Pohatcong Valley Groundwater Contamination superfund site is located in Warren County, Franklin Township, Washington Township, and Washington Borough in New Jersey. It was recognized in the 1970s but not designated into the National Priorities List until 1989. It is a contamination of the Kittany Limestone Aquifer underlying the Pohatcong Valley. This toxic site stretches across 9,800 acres of land. The chemicals that are polluting the groundwater and soil are trichloroethylene (TCE) and perchloroethylene (PCE). If someone were to be exposed to these harmful toxins for a short amount of time it can result in unconsciousness. Long term effects unfortunately include liver and kidney problems. The plans to clean up this superfund site are costing the companies involved, Pechiney Public Packaging Inc., Bristol Meyers Squibb Company, Albea Americas Inc, and Citigroup Inc, about $92 million, and the situation still has not been completely resolved.

Pleasant Valley is an unincorporated community located in Washington Township, Warren County, New Jersey, west of Washington, along the Pohatcong Creek. The hamlet was built around a mill on the creek during the mid-18th century. The Pleasant Valley Historic District, encompassing the village, is listed on the state and national registers of historic places.

First Methodist Episcopal Church, also known as United Methodist Church, is a historic church at 116 East Washington Avenue in Washington, Warren County, New Jersey. It was built from 1895 to 1898 with a Richardsonian Romanesque architectural style. The church was added to the National Register of Historic Places for its significance in architecture on July 17, 2017. The parsonage, built 1892, is also included in the listing.

The Oxford Industrial Historic District is a 1,200-acre (490 ha) historic district primarily located in Oxford Township in Warren County, New Jersey. It also extends into Mansfield Township and Washington Township. The district was added to the National Register of Historic Places on August 27, 1992, for its significance in community development, industry, and transportation from 1741 to 1930. It has 385 contributing buildings, including the individually listed Oxford Furnace and Shippen Manor, three contributing structures, and six contributing sites.

Brass Castle is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) located within Washington Township, in Warren County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. As of the 2010 United States Census, the CDP's population was 1,555.Brass Castle is named for Jacob Brass, an early settler of the area.

Oxford Mountain is a mountain in the New York–New Jersey Highlands of the Appalachian Mountains in Warren County, New Jersey. The main peak rises to 955 feet (291 m), and is located in Oxford, Washington and Mansfield Townships. Oxford Mountain is separated from County House Mountain to the northeast at Sykes Gap, and forms a part of the divide between Pohatcong Creek and the Pequest River.

Oxford Furnace is a historic blast furnace on Washington Avenue, near the intersection with Belvidere Avenue, in Oxford, Oxford Township, Warren County, New Jersey. The furnace was built by Jonathan Robeson (c. 1695–1766) in 1741 and produced its first pig iron in 1743. The first practical use in the United States of hot blast furnace technology took place here in 1834. The furnace was added to the National Register of Historic Places on July 6, 1977 for its significance in industry during the 19th century. It was later added as a contributing property to the Oxford Industrial Historic District on August 27, 1992.
