Hatherton Flush

Stapeley is a hamlet (at SJ675496) and former civil parish, now in the parish of Stapeley and District, in the unitary authority area of Cheshire East and the ceremonial county of Cheshire, England. The hamlet lies 2¼ miles to the south east of Nantwich. The parish also included the small settlements of Broad Lane and Butt Green, and parts of Artle Brook, Haymoor Green and Howbeck Bank, as well as a recent residential development north of the A5301 adjacent to Nantwich. In 2008, the total population was estimated to be a little under 3000, increasing to 3,336 at the 2011 Census. Nearby villages include Shavington, Willaston and Wybunbury.

Hankelow Hall is a former country house to the north of the village of Hankelow, Cheshire, England.

Stapeley House is a country house in London Road, Stapeley, Cheshire. The house is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II listed building. It was built in 1778, and remodelled in 1847–48 by Anthony Salvin. It has subsequently been converted for use as offices, alterations being carried out during the 20th century. The house is constructed in brick with ashlar dressings, and it has a slate roof. It is in three storeys, with an entrance front of three bays. To the right is a lower four-bay wing, also in three storeys. At the rear of the house are 20th-century additions.

Ball Farm is the oldest surviving building in the village of Hankelow, near Audlem in Cheshire, England, and is thought to date from 1510. Most of its original timber frame was replaced by brick in the 19th century, but some close studding and small framing survives, as well as part of a mullioned-and-transomed window. Ball Farm was occupied by the Hassalls, a prominent local family, and might have once been used as a district court of justice. It is listed at grade II* by the Historic Buildings and Monuments Commission for England, the middle of the three grades, denoting "particularly important buildings of more than special interest".

Hatherton is a hamlet and civil parish in the unitary authority of Cheshire East and the ceremonial county of Cheshire, England. The hamlet is on the B5071 at SJ687474, 2+3⁄4 miles (4.4 km) to the north east of Audlem and 3+3⁄4 miles (6.0 km) to the south east of Nantwich. The civil parish has an area of 673 hectares (1,660 acres) and also includes the small settlements of Birchall Moss, Broomlands and part of Artlebrook, with a total population of 360 in 2011. Nearby villages include Hankelow, Stapeley, Walgherton, Wybunbury, Blakenhall and Buerton. The A529 runs through the parish and the River Weaver forms the western boundary. Hatherton was first recorded in the Domesday survey as Haretone. The 18th-century Hatherton Manor farmhouse is listed at grade II*, and there are also grade-II-listed timber-framed and brick farmhouses and former country houses. The hamlet has a Methodist chapel. The Hatherton Flush Site of Special Scientific Interest is a wetland by the Weaver that supports marsh helleborine, marsh lousewort and tubular water-dropwort, which are rare in Cheshire.

Hankelow is a village and civil parish in the unitary authority of Cheshire East and the ceremonial county of Cheshire, England. The village lies on the A529, around 1.25 miles (2.0 km) north east of Audlem and 4.5 miles (7.2 km) south of Nantwich. The civil parish has an area 369 hectares (910 acres) and also includes the small settlement of The Dell and part of Corbrook, with a total population of just over 260 in 2011. Nearby villages include Aston, Broomhall Green, Sound, Hatherton and Buerton in Cheshire and Woore in Shropshire.Hankelow is first documented in the 13th century, and the village historically had a school, two chapels, two public houses, a water mill, post office, shop and other facilities. Only a Methodist chapel – also used as a community centre – remained open in 2020. Two buildings are listed at grade II*: the 16th-century Ball Farmhouse and the 18th-century Hankelow Hall. Outside the village, the civil parish is predominantly rural and agricultural. The River Weaver runs in the west of the parish, and there is a small area of probable ancient woodland in the north east.

Austerson is a civil parish in the unitary authority of Cheshire East and the ceremonial county of Cheshire, England, lying immediately south of the town of Nantwich and north of the village of Audlem. Predominantly rural with scattered farms, the civil parish includes the small settlement of Old Hall Austerson at SJ656493, about two miles south of Nantwich centre. In 2001, the total population was a little under 150, increasing to 194 at the 2011 Census. Nearby villages include Broomhall Green, Hack Green, Hankelow, Sound Heath and Stapeley.

Coole Pilate is a civil parish in the unitary authority of Cheshire East and the ceremonial county of Cheshire, England, which lies to the north of Audlem and to the south of Nantwich. The area is predominantly rural with scattered farms, and a total population of 60 people. At the 2011 Census the population remained less than 100. Batherton is a former civil parish, now in the parish of Stapeley and District, in the unitary authority area of Cheshire East and the ceremonial county of Cheshire, England. It lies immediately south of Nantwich and is jointly administered with the nearby settlement of Stapeley. In 2011 the parish had a population of 124. The River Weaver runs along the western boundary, and its floodplain provides a habitat for wetland species, including the great crested newt and the nationally rare black poplar (Populus nigra subspecies betulifolia).

Newcastle Crossing railway station co-served the hamlet of Stapeley, Cheshire East, England, from 1911 to 1918 on the Crewe and Shrewsbury Railway.

Brine Leas School is an academy school in Nantwich, Cheshire, England. The school has 1,287 pupils enrolled, and has technology and language status.The school opened in 1977 as a comprehensive co-educational establishment. The first head teacher was Daphne Howard; on her retirement Michael Butler became head teacher. Andrew Cliffe became the school's third head teacher in September 2007. In September 2010, the school became one of just 32 to take up academy status. In 2011, the school received a capital grant of over £1 million to improve facilities around the site. The school operates a house system, with every pupil and staff member in either "Audley" (with red theme), "Lovell" (green), or "Warwick" (yellow) - Audley being consistent winners of the ‘House Cup’ for several years as of 2010. For the last 2 years the school has been oversubscribed although it does continue to take pupils on distance criteria. The 2008 Ofsted inspection outlined the school as having outstanding overall effectiveness, with constantly exceptional pupil achievement. However it is well noted that parents/students experiences suggest different. Since the school was inspected results have improved yet further with headlines for five A*to C including English and maths consistently being around 70%. The school opened a sixth form in September 2010. In 2016, the school became part of the Brine Multi Academy Trust.

Little Heath is a village in the civil parish of Audlem, Cheshire, England. It is located to the north of Audlem, between Lonk Land and Audlem Road, the latter being part of today's A529 road.
