The Galerie Georges-Philippe et Nathalie Vallois is a contemporary art gallery owned by Georges-Philippe and Nathalie Vallois and is located in Paris, France. In addition to recent contemporary art, the gallery also specializes in works by Nouveaux réalistes such as Arman, César or Jacques Villeglé.

The Salle de la Bouteille or Salle du Jeu de Paume de la Bouteille, later known as the Hôtel [de] Guénégaud or Guénégaud Theatre, was a 1671 theatre located in Paris, France, between the rue de Seine and the rue des Fossés de Nesle (now 42 rue Mazarine, at its intersection with the rue Jacques Callot). It was across from the rue Guénégaud, which ran behind the garden of a townhouse formerly known as the Hôtel de Guénégaud on the quai de Nevers. The theatre was the first home of the Paris Opera and in 1680 became the first theatre of the Comédie-Française. It closed in 1689 and was later partially demolished and remodeled for other purposes.

Paris Sciences et Lettres University (PSL University or simply PSL) is a public research university based in Paris, France. It was established in 2010 and formally created as a university in 2019. The Hotel La Louisiane at 60 rue de Seine is famous for having accommodated many notable jazz musicians and writers, including Miles Davis, Chet Baker, John Coltrane, Ernest Hemingway, Jean-Paul Sartre and Simone de Beauvoir. Rue de Seine is the title of a 2006 album by Martial Solal and Dave Douglas.In the French novel La Duchesse de Langeais by Honoré de Balzac, the aristocratic character Marquess Armand de Montriveau lived in Rue de Seine. Rue de Seine is the theme and title of a poem by the famous French poet Jacques Prévert. It is also referenced by Julio Cortazar in the first paragraph of his novel Hopscotch (Rayuela). It is also famous for Guy Debord's 1953 anticapitalist graffiti Ne travaillez jamais (Don't ever work).

The Musée national Eugène Delacroix, also known as the Musée Delacroix, is an art museum dedicated to painter Eugène Delacroix (1798–1863) and located in the 6th arrondissement at 6, rue de Furstenberg, Paris, France. It is open daily except Tuesday; an admission fee is charged.

Hotel La Lousiane is a Parisian hotel located at the heart of Saint-Germain-des-Prés at the intersection of rue de Buci and rue de Seine in the sixth arrondissement. It has a main entrance on 60, rue de Seine and a side entrance on 27 rue de Buci. It sits at the crossroad between four central lines: the Passarella des Arts (N), the Luxembourg Garden, (S), rue St Guillaume, (W) and place St Michel, (S). It is most associated with jazz musicians of the 1950s and 1960s. Oscar Peterson, Miles Davis, Bud Powell, Max Roach, Dizzy Gillespie, Art Blakey, Billie Holiday, Lester Young and Charlie Parker all stayed at the hotel. In the early 1960s, Powell and his wife Buttercup resided at the hotel for a long period.In 1954, a double portrait of Lucian Freud, In Shadow Against the Light from the Window, With His Second Wife, Caroline Blackwood was painted in the hotel. It is on display at the Beaverbrook Art Gallery in Fredericton, Canada.

The Académie des Beaux-Arts (French pronunciation: ​[akademi de boz‿aʁ], Academy of Fine Arts) is a French learned society. It is one of the five academies of the Institut de France. The current President of the Academy (2021) is Alain-Charles Perrot, a French architect.

The Bibliothèque Mazarine, or Mazarin Library, is located within the Palais de l'institut de France, or the Palace of the Institute of France (previously the Collège des Quatre-Nations of the University of Paris), at 23 quai de Conti in the 6th arrondissement, on the Left Bank of the Seine facing the Pont des Arts and the Louvre. Originally created by Cardinal Mazarin as his personal library in the 17th century, it today has one of the richest collections of rare books and manuscripts in France, and is the oldest public library in the country.

The Académie Royale de Peinture et de Sculpture (French: [akademi ʁwajal də pɛ̃tyʁ e də skyltyʁ]; English: "Royal Academy of Painting and Sculpture") was founded in 1648 in Paris, France. It was the premier art institution of France during the latter part of the Ancien Régime until it was abolished in 1793 during the French Revolution. It included most of the important painters and sculptors, maintained almost total control of teaching and exhibitions, and afforded its members preference in royal commissions.

The Institut de France (French pronunciation: ​[ɛ̃stity də fʁɑ̃s]; Institute of France) is a French learned society, grouping five académies, including the Académie Française. It was established in 1795 at the direction of the National Convention. Located on the Quai de Conti in the 6th arrondissement of Paris, the Institute manages approximately 1,000 foundations, as well as museums and châteaux open for visit. It also awards prizes and subsidies, which amounted to a total of over €27 million per year in 2017. Most of these prizes are awarded by the Institute on the recommendation of the académies.

The Collège des Quatre-Nations ("College of the Four Nations"), also known as the Collège Mazarin after its founder, was one of the colleges of the historic University of Paris. It was founded through a bequest by the Cardinal Mazarin. At his death in 1661, he also bequeathed his library, the Bibliothèque Mazarine, which he had opened to scholars since 1643, to the Collège des Quatre-Nations.
