Bandar Tun Hussein Onn is a township in 11th-Mile Cheras (Batu 11 Cheras) in Bangi constituency, Selangor, Malaysia. It was named after the third Malaysian Prime Minister, Tun Hussein Onn (in office 1976–1981). It is primarily a residential area, established in the early 1990s. It is situated about 13 km southeast of central Kuala Lumpur and 7.5 km north of Kajang. UDA Holdings Bhd is the developer of the Bandar Tun Hussein Onn township, established in 1971 by the government with authority to develop this area. In 1989, UDA Holdings acquired a 752 acres (304 ha) piece of land in Cheras known as Bandar Tun Hussein Onn. It is known as the largest housing development in Cheras Selatan. In 1995, Bandar Tun Hussein Onn won the FIABCI Award of Distinction for Residential Property. Upon completion, the total population has increased up to 35,000, consisting of 6,000 residential units. Bandar Tun Hussein Onn is resided by 20,000 to 35,000 people or 6,000 housing units, where 80 per cent of the residents are Muslim (in 2013).

SMK Seri Kembangan is a school located in Seri Kembangan, Selangor, Malaysia, on top of a hill in Bukit Serdang. It was built in 1966 and officially opened on 19 November 1968 by the late Tunku Abdul Razak. It has 3,600 students and 200 staff.

Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Bandar Tun Hussein Onn (2) (or SMKBTHO (2)), sometimes referred as SMK Bandar Tun Hussein Onn (2) (although there were never another school of the same name before it), is a secondary school in the state of Selangor, Malaysia. It is the only secondary school in the Bandar Tun Hussein Onn suburb. The school is located in the city of South Cheras, in the district of Hulu Langat and under the subdistrict of Balakong. The school is most famous for the success of Yashwin Sarawanan in Asia's Got Talent (season 3).

Bandar Sungai Long is a main township in Cheras, Selangor, Malaysia. Bandar Sungai Long was designed for a population of 10,000 residents. The majority population in this township are Chinese with a minority of Indians and Malays living in this township. The Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) operates a campus in Sungai Long. It is currently under the administration of local council Majlis Perbandaran Kajang (MPKj). The Sungai Long Golf & Country Club is situated in this township. It was built around the "leisure" living theme with residential homes surrounding an 18-hole golf course. High end detached houses were built around the golf course with semi-detached and terraced residential dwellings alongside condominiums, commercial properties and low cost low rise apartments on the outer edges of the development. Sungai Long Buddhist Society was established in 2006 to create a close-knit Buddhist community in Bandar Sungai Long. A weekly pasar malam (night market) is held here every Tuesday. The 10th and current Prime Minister of Malaysia, Dato' Seri Anwar Ibrahim, currently resides in Bandar Sungai Long with his family since 2021.

The Serdang Komuter station is a KTM Komuter train station located in Serdang, Selangor, Malaysia. The station serves KTM Komuter's Seremban Line and also previously KTM Intercity. It is located along the Besraya Expressway Sungai Besi Expressway.

Alam Damai is a suburb in Bandar Tun Razak, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It is located between Taman Connaught, Bandar Damai Perdana and Taman Len Seng. The town has nine sections: Damai Jaya, Damai Rasa, Damai Kasih, Damai Murni, Damai Budi, Damai Bakti, Damai Impian, Damai Citra and Damai Bestari.

Selangor Turf Club is a horse racing track located in Serdang, Selangor, Malaysia. It is one of three horse racing courses in the country; the other two are in Ipoh, Perak and Penang.
