Maitreyi College is a women's college in the South Campus of the University of Delhi, located in Bapu Dham, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi-110021, India. It was established in July 1967 and named after the Vedic sage Maitreyi. An all-women's college, it offers various courses in the fields of Science, Arts and Commerce. The college was recognised by DBT as a star college, conferring the star status to all four of its science departments namely Botany, Zoology, Chemistry and Mathematics. In 2022, it was ranked 34th among colleges in India by National Institutional Ranking Framework. The college has been accredited grade A++ by NAAC.Due to the construction of Pink Line, Maitreyi College is quite accessible via Delhi Metro. The nearest metro station is Durgabai Deshmukh South Campus metro station which is around 1 km from the college.

Chanakyapuri (Sanskrit: चाणक्यपुरी; IAST: Cāṅakyapurī ) is a neighbourhood and diplomatic enclave established in the 1950s in New Delhi. It is also a sub-division of the New Delhi district and plays host to the majority of foreign embassies in New Delhi. Chanakyapuri, meaning "city of Chanakya", is named after Chanakya, an ancient Indian philosopher, politician, military strategist and advisor to emperor Chandragupta Maurya.

The National Rail Museum in Chanakyapuri, New Delhi, displays exhibits on the history of rail transport in India. The museum was inaugurated on 1 February 1977. The museum spans over an area of over 11 acres and the indoor gallery comprises an octagonal building which houses six display galleries and a large open area is laid out to simulate the atmosphere of a railway yard. It is open every day except Mondays and national holidays.

The Russian Embassy School in New Delhi (Russian: Средняя общеобразовательная школа при Посольстве России в Индии) is a Russian international school located in Chanakyapuri, New Delhi. It is run by the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. It was previously under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Soviet Union. It was upgraded from a primary school to an eight-year school under Order No. 957 from the Soviet Ministry of Foreign Relations in 1974. This was effective on 11 September that year. The same ministry upgraded it to a secondary school under Order No. 4063 18 July 1991. It was further upgraded to a high school with an in-depth study of a foreign language from Order No. 1053 of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The Durgabai Deshmukh South Campus metro station is located on the Pink Line of the Delhi Metro. It has been built as a part of Phase III of Delhi Metro. There is also an interchange facility with Dhaula Kuan metro station of the Airport Express Line. The footover bridge opened on 9 February 2019, and both the stations are connected by a 1.2 km long skywalk having a record 22 travellators for hassle-free commuting.Located on the Ring Road, near the turning of Benito Juarez Marg, this station is expected to improve connectivity to the South Campus of Delhi University and nearby colleges.

The Belgian ambassador to India is Francois Delhaye.Belgium had opened its embassy in India in 1947, just a few months after India's independence. Its first ambassador to India was Eugène, 11th Prince of Ligne. The construction of the current embassy complex (seen in picture) was designed and managed by Satish Gujral, and completed in 1984. The design resembles a fortress of rocky outcrops. The building complex includes the administrative buildings of the embassy, chancellor's residence, ambassador's residence, and staff housing. The embassy was one of Satish Gujral's most challenging assignments, winning him national and international awards. In 2000, the building was recognised as one of the 1000 best buildings of the 20th centuryThe embassy is located in New Delhi's diplomatic district in Chanakyapuri. The front facade consists of two large cupolas with a central fold above the entrance. The entrance opens into a courtyard with stone masonry and greenery within. The building is constructed with red bricks. The ubiquitous red brick construction of the building has been compared to early architectural forms prevalent in Mohenjo-daro and the buddhist architecture in Sanchi and Nalanda. Along with two other embassies, the post-modern architecture of the Belgian embassy in New Delhi has been critiqued by Roger Connah for its confusing appeal to pre-colonial glory of Delhi on one hand and the fading (British) empire on the other. Some parts of the building near the entrance are open to visitors, while the parts hosting the residence and the administrative blocks are not accessible to the public.

New Moti Bagh is a residential colony in South Delhi. New Moti Bagh occupies an area of 143 acres, in the exclusive New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) area of New Delhi. It is one of Delhi's most expensive areas, where land rates vary from 10 lakhs to 12 lakhs a square yard.To raise funds for construction of New Moti Bagh a three acre parcel of land contiguous to the project was sold to Leela Group, a hotel chain, for ₹650 crore (US$81 million), at about ₹216 crore (US$27 million) per acre. At this rate the total land value of the 123 acres (0.50 km2) New Moti Bagh town ship, called colony in Delhi, at current market rates, works out to about ₹31,000 crore (US$3.9 billion). "Living in New Moti Bagh", according to senior Government official, is "next best thing to living in a Lutyens bungalow”.

Moti Bagh, a residential locality in South Delhi, was developed in 1950s to house Government employees. This locality with lot of trees and parks, is divided into South Moti Bagh and North Moti Bagh. Moti Bagh is official residence to senior civil servants, members and Chairman of the Railway Board, other employees serving in the Government of India and several officers of the Indian Armed Forces. In 2007, construction for New Moti Bagh was started which was completed in 2012. Satya Niketan is located to the south-west of Moti Bagh, and Shanti Niketan and Anand Niketan, two of the rich localities of Delhi are located to the south of Moti Bagh.

Sri Venkateswara College is a constituent college of the University of Delhi established in 1961 in New Delhi, India. It is managed by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams & UGC and awards degrees under the purview of the University of Delhi.
