The National Rail Museum in Chanakyapuri, New Delhi, displays exhibits on the history of rail transport in India. The museum was inaugurated on 1 February 1977. The museum spans over an area of over 11 acres and the indoor gallery comprises an octagonal building which houses six display galleries and a large open area is laid out to simulate the atmosphere of a railway yard. It is open every day except Mondays and national holidays.

Moti Bagh, a residential locality in South Delhi, was developed in 1950s to house Government employees. This locality with lot of trees and parks, is divided into South Moti Bagh and North Moti Bagh. Moti Bagh is official residence to senior civil servants, members and Chairman of the Railway Board, other employees serving in the Government of India and several officers of the Indian Armed Forces. In 2007, construction for New Moti Bagh was started which was completed in 2012. Satya Niketan is located to the south-west of Moti Bagh, and Shanti Niketan and Anand Niketan, two of the rich localities of Delhi are located to the south of Moti Bagh.

The German Embassy in New Delhi is the diplomatic representation of Germany in the Republic of India. Since November 2020, the German Ambassador to India is also accredited to the Kingdom of Bhutan.

The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in New Delhi (Pashto: د افغانستان اسلامي جمهوریت لوی سفارت په نوې ډهلي کې) (Dari: سفارت کبرای جمهوری اسلامی افغانستان در دهلی نو) is the diplomatic mission of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan to India. The chancery is located at 5/50F Shantipath in Chanakyapuri of New Delhi. In addition to the embassy in New Delhi, Afghanistan also has a consulate general in Mumbai and Hyderabad.

Akbar Bhawan, formerly the Akbar Hotel, is a building in the Chanakyapuri locality of New Delhi, India which houses the South Asian University and offices of the Government of India's Ministry of External Affairs. Designed by Shiv Nath Prasad in collaboration with Mahendra Raj, it is one of Delhi's best known examples of brutalist architecture and bears semblance to the Unité d'habitation in Marseille, France. Inaugurated in 1972, it was a hotel of the India Tourism Development Corporation before its conversion into an office complex in 1986. The Akbar Hotel was noted for its use of innovative decor that blended contemporary designs with traditional Indian art and handicrafts.

The Russian Embassy School in New Delhi (Russian: Средняя общеобразовательная школа при Посольстве России в Индии) is a Russian international school located in Chanakyapuri, New Delhi. It is run by the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. It was previously under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Soviet Union. It was upgraded from a primary school to an eight-year school under Order No. 957 from the Soviet Ministry of Foreign Relations in 1974. This was effective on 11 September that year. The same ministry upgraded it to a secondary school under Order No. 4063 18 July 1991. It was further upgraded to a high school with an in-depth study of a foreign language from Order No. 1053 of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Sanskriti School is a recognised integrated co-educational school in the diplomatic area of Chanakyapuri, New Delhi. It is affiliated to CBSE, and offers education from Nursery to XII. It was founded in 1998 primarily to provide education to children of All India Services and Allied services officers and Defence Services Personnel on transfer. The school is run by Civil Services Society, an NGO formed by senior civil servants and their wives, with the spouse of the serving Cabinet Secretary of India as its chairperson.

The Embassy of Sweden in New Delhi is Sweden's diplomatic mission in India. The embassy is headed by the ambassador of Sweden to India. The embassy is situated in Chanakyapuri, the diplomatic enclave of New Delhi, where most of the embassies in India are located. The Swedish embassy is responsible for the honorary consulates in India, located in Kolkata and Chennai, and the Swedish consulate general in Mumbai. Maitreyi College is a women's college in the South Campus of the University of Delhi, located in Bapu Dham, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi-110021, India. It was established in July 1967 and named after the Vedic sage Maitreyi. An all-women's college, it offers various courses in the fields of Science, Arts and Commerce. The High Commission of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in New Delhi is the diplomatic mission of Pakistan in India. Between 1972 and 1989, the mission was known as the Embassy of Pakistan in New Delhi, as Pakistan was then temporarily a republic outside the Commonwealth of Nations, an intergovernmental organization primarily comprising former territories of the British Empire (see British India).
