New Moti Bagh

The Sir M. Vishweshwaraiah Moti Bagh metro station is located on the Pink Line of the Delhi Metro. The station was opened on 6 August 2018. Moti Bagh metro is situated on the Ring Road.

The Durgabai Deshmukh South Campus metro station is located on the Pink Line of the Delhi Metro. It has been built as a part of Phase III of Delhi Metro. There is also an interchange facility with Dhaula Kuan metro station of the Airport Express Line. The footover bridge opened on 9 February 2019, and both the stations are connected by a 1.2 km long skywalk having a record 22 travellators for hassle-free commuting.Located on the Ring Road, near the turning of Benito Juarez Marg, this station is expected to improve connectivity to the South Campus of Delhi University and nearby colleges.

Sri Venkateswara College is a constituent college of the University of Delhi established in 1961 in New Delhi, India. It is managed by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams & UGC and awards degrees under the purview of the University of Delhi. The college offers courses both at the undergraduate level and the postgraduate level. Vocational courses and short-term add-on courses that serve as significant supplement to the academic profiles of the students are offered by the college. Sanskriti School is a recognised integrated co-educational school in the diplomatic area of Chanakyapuri, New Delhi. It is affiliated to CBSE, and offers education from Nursery to XII. It was founded in 1998 primarily to provide education to children of All India Services and Allied services officers and Defence Services Personnel on transfer. The Cluster Innovation Centre (CIC) is a Government of India funded institute established under the aegis of the University of Delhi. It has been founded in 2011 and introduced Innovation as a credit based course for the first time in India.

Chanakyapuri (Sanskrit: चाणक्यपुरी; IAST: Cāṅakyapurī ) is a neighbourhood and diplomatic enclave established in the 1950s in New Delhi. It is also a sub-division of the New Delhi district and plays host to the majority of foreign embassies in New Delhi. Chanakyapuri, meaning "city of Chanakya", is named after Chanakya, an ancient Indian philosopher, politician, military strategist and advisor to emperor Chandragupta Maurya.

The National Rail Museum in Chanakyapuri, New Delhi, displays exhibits on the history of rail transport in India. The museum was inaugurated on 1 February 1977. The museum spans over an area of over 11 acres and the indoor gallery comprises an octagonal building which houses six display galleries and a large open area is laid out to simulate the atmosphere of a railway yard. It is open every day except Mondays and national holidays.

Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College (ARSD College), formerly Sanatan Dharma College, is a co-educational constituent college of the University of Delhi. The college was founded on August 3, 1959, by the Sanatan Dharma Maha Sabha, Delhi. Late Shri Atma Ram Chadha, a philanthropist, took over as chairman of the college governing body in 1967. The current chairman of the college is Prof.Renu Deswal.

Maitreyi College is a women's college in the South Campus of the University of Delhi, located in Bapu Dham, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi-110021, India. It was established in July 1967 and named after the Vedic sage Maitreyi. An all-women's college, it offers various courses in the fields of Science, Arts and Commerce. The college was recognised by DBT as a star college, conferring the star status to all four of its science departments namely Botany, Zoology, Chemistry and Mathematics. In 2022, it was ranked 34th among colleges in India by National Institutional Ranking Framework. The college has been accredited grade A++ by NAAC.Due to the construction of Pink Line, Maitreyi College is quite accessible via Delhi Metro. The nearest metro station is Durgabai Deshmukh South Campus metro station which is around 1 km from the college.

Moti Bagh, a residential locality in South Delhi, was developed in 1950s to house Government employees. This locality with lot of trees and parks, is divided into South Moti Bagh and North Moti Bagh. Moti Bagh is official residence to senior civil servants, members and Chairman of the Railway Board, other employees serving in the Government of India and several officers of the Indian Armed Forces. In 2007, construction for New Moti Bagh was started which was completed in 2012. Satya Niketan is located to the south-west of Moti Bagh, and Shanti Niketan and Anand Niketan, two of the rich localities of Delhi are located to the south of Moti Bagh.

Motilal Nehru College (MLNC) is one of the largest constituent colleges of the University of Delhi. It awards degrees under the purview of the university and offers courses in science, humanities and commerce disciplines at the undergraduate level. There is also an evening college operating in the same campus premises called Motilal Nehru College Evening.
