The Embassy of Belgium in New Delhi is the diplomatic mission of the Kingdom of Belgium to India. The embassy is located in Shantipath, Chanakyapuri. The Embassy of Belgium in New Delhi covers the services for India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, the Maldives, Bhutan and Nepal. Belgium also operates a consulate in Mumbai and Chennai. The Belgian ambassador to India is Francois Delhaye.Belgium had opened its embassy in India in 1947, just a few months after India's independence. Its first ambassador to India was Eugène, 11th Prince of Ligne. The construction of the current embassy complex (seen in picture) was designed and managed by Satish Gujral, and completed in 1984. The design resembles a fortress of rocky outcrops. The building complex includes the administrative buildings of the embassy, chancellor's residence, ambassador's residence, and staff housing. The embassy was one of Satish Gujral's most challenging assignments, winning him national and international awards. In 2000, the building was recognised as one of the 1000 best buildings of the 20th centuryThe embassy is located in New Delhi's diplomatic district in Chanakyapuri. The front facade consists of two large cupolas with a central fold above the entrance. The entrance opens into a courtyard with stone masonry and greenery within. The building is constructed with red bricks. The ubiquitous red brick construction of the building has been compared to early architectural forms prevalent in Mohenjo-daro and the buddhist architecture in Sanchi and Nalanda. Along with two other embassies, the post-modern architecture of the Belgian embassy in New Delhi has been critiqued by Roger Connah for its confusing appeal to pre-colonial glory of Delhi on one hand and the fading (British) empire on the other. Some parts of the building near the entrance are open to visitors, while the parts hosting the residence and the administrative blocks are not accessible to the public.

The Russian Embassy School in New Delhi (Russian: Средняя общеобразовательная школа при Посольстве России в Индии) is a Russian international school located in Chanakyapuri, New Delhi. It is run by the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. It was previously under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Soviet Union. It was upgraded from a primary school to an eight-year school under Order No. 957 from the Soviet Ministry of Foreign Relations in 1974. This was effective on 11 September that year. The same ministry upgraded it to a secondary school under Order No. 4063 18 July 1991. It was further upgraded to a high school with an in-depth study of a foreign language from Order No. 1053 of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The National Rail Museum in Chanakyapuri, New Delhi, displays exhibits on the history of rail transport in India. The museum was inaugurated on 1 February 1977. The museum spans over an area of over 11 acres and the indoor gallery comprises an octagonal building which houses six display galleries and a large open area is laid out to simulate the atmosphere of a railway yard. It is open every day except Mondays and national holidays.

The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in New Delhi (Pashto: د افغانستان اسلامي جمهوریت لوی سفارت په نوې ډهلي کې) (Dari: سفارت کبرای جمهوری اسلامی افغانستان در دهلی نو) is the diplomatic mission of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan to India. The chancery is located at 5/50F Shantipath in Chanakyapuri of New Delhi. In addition to the embassy in New Delhi, Afghanistan also has a consulate general in Mumbai and Hyderabad.

Maitreyi College is a women's college in the South Campus of the University of Delhi, located in Bapu Dham, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi-110021, India. It was established in July 1967 and named after the Vedic sage Maitreyi. An all-women's college, it offers various courses in the fields of Science, Arts and Commerce. The college was recognised by DBT as a star college, conferring the star status to all four of its science departments namely Botany, Zoology, Chemistry and Mathematics. In 2022, it was ranked 34th among colleges in India by National Institutional Ranking Framework. The college has been accredited grade A++ by NAAC.Due to the construction of Pink Line, Maitreyi College is quite accessible via Delhi Metro. The nearest metro station is Durgabai Deshmukh South Campus metro station which is around 1 km from the college.

Sanskriti School is a recognised integrated co-educational school in the diplomatic area of Chanakyapuri, New Delhi. It is affiliated to CBSE, and offers education from Nursery to XII. It was founded in 1998 primarily to provide education to children of All India Services and Allied services officers and Defence Services Personnel on transfer. The school is run by Civil Services Society, an NGO formed by senior civil servants and their wives, with the spouse of the serving Cabinet Secretary of India as its chairperson.

The German Embassy in New Delhi is the diplomatic representation of Germany in the Republic of India. Since November 2020, the German Ambassador to India is also accredited to the Kingdom of Bhutan.

The Embassy of Sweden in New Delhi is Sweden's diplomatic mission in India. The embassy is headed by the ambassador of Sweden to India. The embassy is situated in Chanakyapuri, the diplomatic enclave of New Delhi, where most of the embassies in India are located. The Swedish embassy is responsible for the honorary consulates in India, located in Kolkata and Chennai, and the Swedish consulate general in Mumbai. The ambassador of New Delhi is also accredited to Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan and Maldives.

Moti Bagh, a residential locality in South Delhi, was developed in 1950s to house Government employees. This locality with lot of trees and parks, is divided into South Moti Bagh and North Moti Bagh. Moti Bagh is official residence to senior civil servants, members and Chairman of the Railway Board, other employees serving in the Government of India and several officers of the Indian Armed Forces. In 2007, construction for New Moti Bagh was started which was completed in 2012. Satya Niketan is located to the south-west of Moti Bagh, and Shanti Niketan and Anand Niketan, two of the rich localities of Delhi are located to the south of Moti Bagh.

Jesus and Mary College (JMC) is a women-only college of the University of Delhi located in New Delhi, India. The college offers bachelor's degrees in Commerce, Arts, and Mathematics. The college offers honors degrees in Elementary Education, History, Sociology, Political Science, Vocational Studies, Hindi, English, Economics, Psychology, Mathematics, and Commerce. The college is located in the Chanakyapuri diplomatic enclave in New Delhi, adjacent to Maitreyi College. Due to the construction of Pink Line, Jesus and Mary College is quite accessible via Delhi Metro. The nearest metro station is Durgabai Deshmukh South Campus metro station which is around 1 km from the college.

Embassy of Japan in India (Japanese: 在インド日本国大使館) is located in New Delhi of India. Since September 2019, Satoshi Suzuki has been ambassador.
