The Evangelical Lutheran Church of São Paulo (Portuguese: Igreja Evangélica Luterana de São Paulo), also known as Martin Luther Church, is one of the headquarters of the Southeast Synod of the Evangelical Church of Lutheran Confession in Brazil, located near the Largo do Paiçandu, in the historic center of São Paulo. The temple was founded on December 25, 1908, being one of the main meeting places of the German community in the first half of the twentieth century.Initially, it was called by the German name Stadtkirche, being later known as Mother Church and then, only in 1991, being baptized as Martin Luther Church. It is considered the first evangelical Lutheran parish in the city of São Paulo, as well as the first temple in the neo-Gothic style to be built in the city.

The Church of Our Lady of the Rosary of Black Men (Portuguese: Igreja Nossa Senhora do Rosário dos Homens Pretos) is located in Largo do Paiçandu, in the central zone of the Brazilian city of São Paulo. It was originally situated in Antônio Prado Square, where it was built by black workers at the beginning of the 18th century to serve as a meeting place for slaves who celebrated Catholic rites mixed with beliefs of Bantu origin. In 1903, as part of the urbanization process initiated by Mayor Antônio Prado, the old church was demolished and rebuilt where it stands today. The new temple was consecrated in 1906, when a large procession, accompanied by a band, carried the images from the old church.

Largo do Paiçandu (in archaic spelling, Largo do Payssandu and Largo do Paissandu) is an area of the República district, in the central area of the city of São Paulo, Brazil. It was named in 1865 after the Siege of Paysandu. Currently, it It is located within a quadrilateral formed by São João, Conselheiro Crispiniano, Rio Branco and Dom José de Barros streets. At the end of the 19th century, it was an important circus zone in the city.

The Santa Ifigênia Viaduct (Portuguese: Viaduto Santa Ifigênia) is located in the center of the Brazilian city of São Paulo. The route starts at Largo São Bento, next to the São Bento metro station, and finishes in front of the Church of St. Efigenia, connecting two of the city's historic landmarks. It is used exclusively by pedestrians. Designed by architect Giulio Micheli and developed by engineers Giuseppe Chiapori and Mário Tibiriçá, the structure was produced in Belgium and intended to improve the traffic and circulation of cars, carriages and streetcars crossing the Anhangabaú Valley during the 19th century. The viaduct was built between 1910 and 1913 and inaugurated on July 26, 1913, by Mayor Raymundo Duprat. Today, the Santa Ifigênia Viaduct crosses the Anhangabaú Valley and Prestes Maia Avenue and connects the old and new city centers. Designed in the Art Nouveau style, the place is one of São Paulo's main postcards. Between the Santa Ifigênia Viaduct and Duque de Caxias Street, there are several stores and small galleries selling different types of electronic products, such as computers, video games, cell phones, sound and lighting equipment and musical instruments.

The Basilica of the Most Blessed Sacrament (Portuguese: Basílica do Santíssimo Sacramento) Also Church of St. Efigenia Is a Catholic temple located at the corner of Casper Libero Avenue and Santa Ifigenia Street, in the district of the same name in the city of Sao Paulo in the south of Brazil. The Santa Ifigenia viaduct ends in front of the church.

Galeria do Rock is a shopping mall located in the city of São Paulo. It was established in 1963, with the name of Shopping Center Grandes Galerias. Located between Rua 24 de Maio, 62 and Largo do Paissandu (Avenida São João), it has 450 shopping facilities, with predominance of rock, hip hop and other music-related stores, which sell records, apparel and tattoo studios. Galeria do Rock is also a musical performance venue, being a meeting place for urban tribes or subcultures in São Paulo. The place was a location for the Rede Globo telenovela Tempos Modernos and for the TV series Aline.

The Post Office Palace (Portuguese: Palácios dos Correios) is an eclectic building located in the Historic Center of São Paulo, in the Anhangabaú Valley, in the Brazilian city of São Paulo. The complex was designed by Ramos de Azevedo Technical Office to house the Central Post and Telegraph Office and was inaugurated on October 20, 1922. It housed the Post Office's administrative activities until the 1970s, when the institution moved to Vila Leopoldina.In 2012, the building was listed as a historic site by the Department of Historical Heritage (DPH) during a process that covered the entire Anhangabaú Valley region. It is one of the most significant examples of early 20th century architecture in São Paulo. In 2013, the palace became home to the Post Office Cultural Center of São Paulo, which offers free exhibitions and other artistic events.

The São Paulo School of Dance (Portuguese: Escola de Dança de São Paulo - EDASP), also known as the São Paulo Municipal Theater Dance School (Escola de Dança do Theatro Municipal de São Paulo - EDTMSP) or the Municipal Ballet School (Escola Municipal de Bailado), is located in the Brazilian city of São Paulo. It is linked to the training center of the São Paulo Municipal Theater Foundation. Currently run by Cristiana de Souza, the school is based in Praça das Artes and caters to around 800 students. It is one of the most traditional dance schools in Brazil and has trained generations of artists.

The Conservatório Dramático e Musical de São Paulo (Musical and Dramatic Conservatory of São Paulo) was a conservatory for students of music in São Paulo, Brazil. The Conservatory was founded on February 15, 1906, and inaugurated officially on March 12 of that year. In 1909 it moved to its last location on Avenida São João, downtown. Between 1981 and 1983 the building was renovated. One of many post-secondary music schools in São Paulo, the Conservatory i was known chiefly for its library of musical and dramatic scholarship, and its most famous alumnus, poet and musicologist Mário de Andrade, who studied piano and taught there for much of his life. In 2009, due to many financial problems, the conservatory was closed. Its building will be a part of a new construction, the "Praça das Artes" (Art Square), which will be occupied by the artistic bodies of the Municipal Theater, its Schools of Music and Ballet, its museum and its technical center.

The Montreal Building (Portuguese: Edifício Montreal) is an apartment building in São Paulo, Brazil. It was designed by the architect Oscar Niemeyer (1907–2012) and executed by Carlos Lemos (1925-). The building was designed in 1950, construction began in 1951, and opened in 1954. It was one of several buildings in São Paulo commissioned by the Banco Nacional Imobiliário (National Real Estate Bank) to meet the demand for dense, high-rise residential structures in the center of the city. The building was the first of Niemeyer's large-scale works in São Paulo; it predates the Copan, Triângulo e Califórnia buildings. Basic units in the building sold for Cr$ 280,000 at the time of its opening.The Montreal Building sits on a narrow, irregular corner of Ipiranga and Cásper Líbero avenues opposite of Praça Alfredo Lessa. Units in the building range from 36 square metres (390 sq ft) to 48 square metres (520 sq ft), many in a trapezoidal floor plan. Units in the building are small and were meant to attract single occupants or small families. The entrance hall features three large panels of mosaics by Emiliano Di Cavalcanti. The pattern of horizontal fins on the north façade of the building closely resembles that of the Banco do Estado de Minas Gerais, designed in the same period by Niemeyer. The brise soleil facing avenues Ipiranga and Cásper Líbero were removed in a 2004 renovation. Edifício Montreal is a listed building by the Municipal Council for the Preservation of Historical, Cultural and Environmental City of São Paulo (SPHAN).

Mirante do Vale Building (Portuguese: Condomínio Mirante do Vale, loosely translated as Overlook of the Valley Condominium), commonly called Mirante do Vale, is a 170-metre (558 ft) office skyscraper located in São Paulo, Brazil, in the area of Downtown São Paulo and Vale do Anhangabaú. Constructed from 1959 to 1960, it is the tallest building in São Paulo, and it was also the tallest in Brazil until 2014 when it was surpassed by Millennium Palace in Balneário Camboriú, Santa Catarina.

The Central Zone (Portuguese: Zona Central de São Paulo) is an administrative zone of the city of São Paulo, Brazil. One of the largest commercial and business districts in South America, the region is administered by the subprefecture of Sé. It is not concurrent, although often confused, with the regions known as Centro Expandido ("Expanded Center"), a broader area used by the city government for urban planning and road space rationing actions and Centro Histórico de São Paulo ("São Paulo Historic Center"), which, as the name implies, includes only the oldest part of the central region.
