WNYR-FM (98.5 MHz) is an adult contemporary music formatted radio station in Waterloo/Geneva, New York. Along with the music, though they also provide Finger Lakes News and events information both through their website and on through the radio. They broadcast throughout the Finger Lakes.

The town is named after the mythical founder of Rome, Romulus, a name assigned by a clerk with an interest in the classics. The Town of Romulus is in the central part of the county, northwest of Ithaca, New York. The town has a hamlet (and census-designated place), also called Romulus. Government offices for the town are located in nearby Willard.Romulus is home of the rare Seneca white deer, one of the largest populations of white deer in the world. They are located on the grounds of the former Seneca Army Depot. It is now a private wildlife refuge and conservation center which offers scenic tours.

The town is named after Richard Varick, an officer in the American Revolution, mayor of New York City, and uncle of the first Town Supervisor, Anthony Dey. The Town of Varick is located in the central part of the county and is southeast of Geneva. There is no post office in the Town of Varick. The primary postal district covering the area is Zip Code 14541 for Romulus.

Romulus is a hamlet (and census-designated place) located in the Town of Romulus, Seneca County, New York, United States on the border with the Town of Varick. The population was 409 at the 2010 census. The hamlet was originally called "Romulusville." It was renamed Romulus, after the town, circa 1870.

Christ Evangelical and Reformed Church, also known as United Church of Fayette, is a historic Evangelical and Reformed church located at Fayette in Seneca County, New York. It was constructed in 1823 in a simple rectangular form with gable roof and modest Federal period detailing. It was updated and its Romanesque qualities enhanced in 1882 with the addition of a four-stage bell tower with Queen Anne decoration. The adjacent cemetery was in use between 1810 and 1926, and the surrounding cast-iron fence was installed in 1877.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.

The former Seneca Army Depot occupied 10,587 acres (4,284 ha) between Seneca Lake and Cayuga Lake in Seneca County, New York. It was used as a munitions storage and disposal facility by the United States Army from 1941 until the 1990s. The Depot was listed in the 1995 Base Realignment and Closure Commission and formally shut down in 2000. The property has since been transferred to the Seneca County Industrial Development Agency, which leases it to Seneca County Economic Development Corp.Home to the world's largest herd of white deer, the base is in the towns of Varick and Romulus. Adjacent to the storage facility is the now-closed Seneca Army Airfield, whose long runway could handle large cargo aircraft.

William Hoster House is a historic home located at Fayette in Seneca County, New York. It is a four bay wide, two story, brick dwelling built about 1830 in the Federal style and later modified in the 1850s-1860s in the Italianate style. The hipped roof on the main block is topped by a distinctive octagonal cupola. Also on the property is a small, gable roofed corn crib.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2002.When listed in 2002, the house stood clear on a hill, presumably quite visible from NY-414, which is only about 500 feet (150 m) away. In 2021, the house was completely hidden from the road by trees and vines.

Simon Ritter Cobblestone Farmhouse is a historic house located at Varick in Seneca County, New York. It is a late Federal / early Greek Revival style, cobblestone farmhouse with an overlay of Italianate detailing. It is a two-story, slightly asymmetrical structure, on a raised fieldstone foundation. It was built about 1830 and is constructed of irregularly sized and variously colored field cobbles. The house is among the approximately 18 surviving cobblestone buildings in Seneca County. Also on the property are two large early / mid 19th century barns, a carriage house and machine shed, a boathouse built about 1900 on the shore of Cayuga Lake, and a limestone carriage stepping stone.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2008. The owners operate Varick Winery, which has a tasting room on another part of the property.
