Simon Ritter Cobblestone Farmhouse is a historic house located at Varick in Seneca County, New York. It is a late Federal / early Greek Revival style, cobblestone farmhouse with an overlay of Italianate detailing. It is a two-story, slightly asymmetrical structure, on a raised fieldstone foundation. It was built about 1830 and is constructed of irregularly sized and variously colored field cobbles. The house is among the approximately 18 surviving cobblestone buildings in Seneca County. Also on the property are two large early / mid 19th century barns, a carriage house and machine shed, a boathouse built about 1900 on the shore of Cayuga Lake, and a limestone carriage stepping stone.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2008. The owners operate Varick Winery, which has a tasting room on another part of the property.

It was constructed in 1823 in a simple rectangular form with gable roof and modest Federal period detailing. It was updated and its Romanesque qualities enhanced in 1882 with the addition of a four-stage bell tower with Queen Anne decoration. The adjacent cemetery was in use between 1810 and 1926, and the surrounding cast-iron fence was installed in 1877.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.

Aurora Steam Grist Mill

Aurora Steam Grist Mill was a historic grist mill located in Aurora, Cayuga County, New York. It was a monolithic, 3+1⁄2-story rectangular stone structure built on the shore of Lake Cayuga. It was one of the first mills built west of the Hudson River to be powered by steam. In 1974, the building's roof collapsed due to neglect and plans were to restore it for use as a community center. It was largely intact until 1992, when Wells College began to demolish it in order to build a dock behind the Aurora Inn.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976.
