Kayak Point County Park

Kayak Point is a census-designated place (CDP) located in Snohomish County, Washington, United States. The CDP was newly defined by the United States Census Bureau in 2013. The population was 1,737 as of 2013 estimates. It is home to Kayak Point County Park as well as a golf course.

Port Susan is a bay and strait located in the U.S. state of Washington. Part of the Whidbey Island Basin of Puget Sound, Port Susan is bounded by Camano Island to the west and the mainland to the east. The Stillaguamish River empties into the northern end of Port Susan. To the south, Port Susan connects with the rest of Puget Sound via Possession Sound and Saratoga Passage. A swampy waterway connects the northern end of Port Susan with Skagit Bay. This waterway also separates Camano Island from the mainland.

Wenberg County Park, formerly Wenberg State Park, is a 46-acre (18.6 ha) park located on the shores of Lake Goodwin in the community of Lake Goodwin, Washington. The park is maintained by Snohomish County Parks and Recreation and includes a public beach for swimming, a boat launch, cabins, picnic shelters, and campgrounds. It is located at the western terminus of State Route 531. The county charges $10 for some activities.The park is named for East Stanwood postmaster Marie Louise Wenberg, who led a fundraising effort that raised $1,500 to purchase 20 acres (8.1 ha) of waterfront property from C. D. Hillman for a public park. The campaign was spurred by reports that a golf course was proposed to be constructed at the property by businessmen from Everett. Wenberg Park was dedicated in 1939 and remained under county ownership until it was acquired by the state government in 1947. It remained a Washington state park until July 16, 2009, when the state transferred the park back to Snohomish County in an effort to keep it open while addressing a state budget crisis. The park underwent $3 million in renovations in 2018 to improve access to the beach and boat launch area.

The CDP was discontinued at the 2010 census.Based on per capita income, one of the more reliable measures of affluence, Lake Goodwin ranks 58th of 522 areas in the state of Washington to be ranked.

Florence Island is the main island formed by the diked river delta of the Stillaguamish River as it flows into Port Susan on Puget Sound.The historic Snohomish County settlement of Florence is located on the delta and gives the island its name. Florence Island is connected to the mainland by three bridges heading in the directions of Stanwood to the north, Silvana and Arlington to the east, and Warm Beach to the south.

Lake Goodwin is a lake in Snohomish County, Washington, United States. The surrounding census district of Lake Goodwin, Washington is named after the lake. The lake is the largest and by far the most popular of the Seven Lakes area northwest of Marysville, Washington. Wenberg County Park is the main public access to the lake. In 1996, Snohomish County bought a formerly privately owned resort on the north tip of the lake, and is working on developing it into a park.

Leque Island is a small island located in Snohomish County, in Washington, United States. It can be found just beneath the bridge between Camano Island and Stanwood, at the mouth of the Stillaguamish River, in Puget Sound. Like the larger Florence Island, Leque is part of the Stillaguamish river delta. The island is formed where the Old Stillaguamish River Channel bifurcates at Leque's Point, with the South Pass flowing into Port Susan and the West Pass emptying into the southern end of Skagit Bay. Leque is separated from Camano to the west by Davis Slough.Leque Island was originally a salt marsh. After being diked for agricultural purposes, the island was cut off from tidal influence and since then the areas not in use for agriculture have transformed into freshwater wetlands.
