St Faith's and Aylsham Rural District

Hevingham is a village and civil parish in the Broadland district of the English county of Norfolk. Situated between the A140 road Norwich to Cromer road and the B1149 road Norwich to Holt road. It is 7 miles (11 km) north from the city of Norwich and 4 miles (6.4 km) south from the market town of Aylsham. Hevingham parish covers a wide area—11.66 square kilometres (4.50 sq mi). The village has grown slightly since the 1891 census (which showed a population of 760) to its level of 1,150 in 452 households as shown in 2001 census. then a population of 1,260 in 485 households at the 2011 Census.

Brampton is a small village and parish in the county of Norfolk, England, in the Bure Valley, east of Aylsham.

Stratton Strawless is a village in the county of Norfolk and district of Broadland. The civil parish covers 714 acres (289 ha) and has a population of 495, increasing to a population of 580 in the 2011 Census. Located close and to the east of the A140 road and being 4.5 miles (7.2 km) south of the market town of Aylsham and some 7 miles (11 km) north of Norwich. Much of the parish has been given over to the growing of arable crops, but there are substantial amounts of mixed woodland to be found.

It covers an area of 7.40 km2 (2.86 sq mi) and had a population of 674 in 282 households at the 2001 census.For local government purposes, it falls within the district of Broadland. Marsham has its own Parish Council, Marsham Parish Council.

Buxton is a village in the parish of Buxton with Lamas, in the Broadland district of the county of Norfolk, England. It is located between Norwich and Aylsham, and is separated from Lamas by the River Bure. In 2021, it had a population of 1,295.

Horsford is a village six miles north of Norwich, England which is surrounded by the Horsford Forest and is named after the dried up section of the River Hor. Its population has seen a steady increase since the Second World War, growing from 750 in 1945 to 4,163 at the 2011 Census. There are various explanations of the village name. It is usually said to derive from 'horse ford', but it has also been suggested that it comes from the River Hor on which the village stands (more usually known to locals as 'the Beck'). A third explanation is that it comes from Horsa, the name of a Saxon chief. The surrounding Horsford Forest has been designated a County Wildlife Site. The rare silver-studded blue butterfly has a colony in this forest. The motte of the demolished Horsford Castle lies to the east of the village.

Hainford (originally Haynford) is a village and civil parish in the English county of Norfolk. It covers an area of 6.94 km2 (2.68 sq mi) and had a population of 951 in 365 households at the 2001 census, increasing to a population of 989 in 391 households at the 2011 Census. For the purposes of local government, it falls within the district of Broadland. The villages name means 'Enclosure ford'.

Horsford Castle is situated in the village of Horsford, 6 miles to the north of the city of Norwich.

The Bure Valley Path is a 9-mile (14 km) long walking trail and cycling trail in Norfolk, England. It runs alongside the Bure Valley Railway, a heritage railway from Wroxham to Aylsham.

The Aylsham Bypass Tunnel is the only railway tunnel in Norfolk, England currently open to trains. It carries the narrow gauge Bure Valley Railway under the Aylsham Bypass. The former Norfolk & Suffolk Joint Railway's Cromer Tunnel at Cromer is disused.The original East Norfolk Railway crossed Bure Valley Lane at this point, by means of a level crossing, but the combination of heavy traffic and small steam trains is not encouraged in modern transport policies.
