Poissy station (French: Gare de Poissy) is a rail station in Poissy, France, at the western edge of Paris.

Poissy (French: [pwasi] ) is a commune in the Yvelines department in the Île-de-France region in north-central France. It is located in the western suburbs of Paris, 23.8 km (14.8 mi) from the centre of Paris. Inhabitants are called Pisciacais in French. Poissy is one of the oldest royal cities of Île-de-France, birthplace of Louis IX of France and Philip III of France, before being supplanted from the 15th century by Saint-Germain-en-Laye. In 1561, it was the site of a fruitless Catholic–Huguenot conference, the Colloquy of Poissy. The area is known for hosting the Automobiles Gregoire successively, Matford, Ford SAF, Simca, Chrysler, Talbot factories and now hosts one of France's largest Peugeot factories. The "Simca Poissy engine" was made there. Poissy is the 165th most populated city in Metropolitan France.

Villa Savoye (French pronunciation: [savwa]) is a modernist villa and gatelodge in Poissy, on the outskirts of Paris, France. It was designed by the Swiss-French architect Le Corbusier and his cousin Pierre Jeanneret, and built between 1928 and 1931 using reinforced concrete.As an exemplar of Le Corbusier's "five points" for new constructions, the villa is representative of the origins of modern architecture and is one of the most easily recognizable and renowned examples of the International style. The house was originally built as a country retreat for the Savoye family. After being purchased by the neighbouring school, it became the property of the French state in 1958. Due to many different problems it was rarely inhabited. After surviving several proposals to demolish it, it was designated as an official French historical monument in 1965 (a rare event, as Le Corbusier was still alive). It was thoroughly renovated between 1985 and 1997, and the refurbished house is now open to visitors year round under the care of the Centre des monuments nationaux.In July 2016, the house and 16 other buildings by Le Corbusier, spread over seven countries, were inscribed as The Architectural Work of Le Corbusier World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

The Stellantis Poissy plant is a French car plant belonging to Stellantis located in Poissy, Yvelines. It is dedicated to the manufacturer's Platform 1 cars, which are cars in the subcompact class, with an annual output of approximately 200,000 cars. In 2010, the plant produced the Peugeot 207, the Peugeot 207 SW and the Citroën DS3. Together with the PSA Research Centres at Carrières-sous-Poissy and at Vélizy, it is one of three major establishments that PSA runs in the department. The Poissy plant was commissioned by Ford France in 1937 and opened in 1940 a few weeks before the German invasion. When, in 1954, Ford sold their business to Simca, the Poissy plant was naturally included in the deal, and less than ten years later Simca closed their existing plant at Nanterre, leaving Poissy as their only significant auto-production facility. Ownership passed again in 1963, this time to Chrysler who in that year acquired a controlling interest in Simca. Then in 1978 Peugeot acquired Chrysler's European business. Former Simca models were rebadged as Talbots and continued to be produced at the Poissy plant during the early 1980s. However, the mid-range hatchback that had been designed to sustain the Talbot brand was rebadged ahead of its 1985 launch as the Peugeot 309. That is the name under which it was sold, and since that time the plant has concentrated on the production of small Citroën and Peugeot badged models. In October 2010, the plant had 6,535 registered employees.

Carrières-sous-Poissy (French: [kaʁjɛʁ su pwasi] ) is a commune in the Yvelines department in the Île-de-France region in north-central France. The town sits on the bank of the Seine River, directly opposite the commune of Poissy. Notable landmarks in Carrières-sous-Poissy include the Château Champfleury, the Château Vanderbilt and St. Joseph's Church.

Chambourcy (French pronunciation: [ʃɑ̃buʁsi] ) is a commune in the Yvelines department in the Île-de-France region in north-central France. It is located 3 km (1.9 mi) west of Saint-Germain-en-Laye and about 25 km (16 mi) west of Paris. Its inhabitants are called Camboriciens. "Chambourcy", formerly "Champ Bourcy", is derived from the Latin expression "campus bruacii", field of brushlands. The current mayor, and mayor since 1995 is Pierre Morange. He has also been a member of the French National Assembly since 1997.

Campus PSG, officially known as the Campus Paris Saint-Germain, is the training ground of Paris Saint-Germain Football Club. Located in Poissy, it replaced the Camp des Loges, the club's historical training facility in nearby Saint-Germain-en-Laye.Owned and financed by the club, the venue will bring together PSG's football (male and female), handball and judo teams, as well as the football and handball academies. Each division will have its own dedicated facilities. The Campus PSG will have its own stadium, which will complement PSG's home ground of the Parc des Princes. With a total capacity of 5,000, including over 3,000 seats, the arena will be the largest football stadium in the Yvelines department. It will host matches for PSG's youth and female sides in official competitions such as the UEFA Youth League and the UEFA Women's Champions League.Twenty-five minutes away from the Parc des Princes and fifteen minutes from the Camp des Loges, the 74-hectare site is part of PSG's global strategy to become one of the best-performing multi-sport clubs in the world. Construction began in February 2020 and is expected to end in 2024. The club's investment is reported to be in the region of €350m. PSG entrusted the project to French architect Jean-Michel Wilmotte and his architectural firm Wilmotte & Associés, known for designing the Allianz Riviera and the Kaliningrad Stadium.

The Lycée International de Saint-Germain-en-Laye (more commonly, Lycée International or L.I.; English: International High School of Saint-Germain-en-Laye) is a French public school located in Saint-Germain-en-Laye, Yvelines, in the western suburbs of Paris, France. Established in 1952 as a school for the children of international personnel working at Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE) in nearby Rocquencourt, the Lycée International caters to students with international and multilingual backgrounds. With a typical success rate of 99.9 to 100 percent on the French baccalauréat, the Lycée International consistently ranks among France's top schools and is considered to be the country's best public international school.Students at the Lycée International must be fluent in one of the languages taught in one of the school's fourteen national sections: American or British English, Chinese, Danish, Dutch, German, Italian, Japanese, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, and Swedish. However, they are not required to be fluent in French to be admitted, as there is a special one-year Français Spécial language program. The academic curriculum of the international sections supplements the standard French curriculum with additional courses in literature/language and history/geography, taught in the language of the students' respective national sections, allowing them to pursue the option internationale du baccalauréat (OIB), the international variant of the French baccalauréat. The school's main campus at 2 bis rue du Fer à Cheval (48°53′44″N 2°3′40″E) in Saint-Germain-en-Laye contains a preschool (maternelle), a primary school (école élémentaire), a middle school (collège), and an upper school (lycée). Due to the size of the student body, some larger national sections have satellite campuses for primary and middle school grades at other local schools in the area of Saint-Germain-en-Laye. All students return to the main campus for their final three (lycée-level) years.

Achères (French pronunciation: [aʃɛʁ] ) is a commune in the Yvelines department in north-central France. It is located 23.7 km (14.7 mi) from the centre of Paris. The commune of Achères lies on the south bank of the Seine in a loop of the river, on the edge of the Forest of Saint-Germain-en-Laye. It borders Saint-Germain-en-Laye and Poissy on the south, Andrésy and Carrières-sous-Poissy on the west, Conflans-Sainte-Honorine and Herblay on the north, and Maisons-Laffitte and La Frette-sur-Seine on the east. Inhabitants of Achères are called Achérois.

Villennes-sur-Seine (French pronunciation: [vilɛn syʁ sɛn] , literally Villennes on Seine) is a commune in the Yvelines department in the Île-de-France in north-central France. Villennes-sur-Seine is located in the Seine Valley 30 km (19 mi) west of Paris. Located in the village itself are an eleventh-century church and ancient grottos.

Saint-Germain-en-Laye–Grande-Ceinture is railway station in Saint-Germain-en-Laye, France. Its creation was decided on 11 March 1875 and opened in 1877. The station was built as a passenger stop on the Grande Ceinture but the line soon lost its passenger traffic only to become a goods station. The station recently reopened on 29 November 2004 and is the terminus of a small line to Noisy-le-Roi. From this station, one can go to the Gare St-Lazare by taking the Grande Ceinture Ouest to St.Nom-la-Bretèche, where one changes platforms to get a train to Paris. In July 2022, the T13 tram stops at this station indicated on the map as "Lisière Péreire", replacing the old Transilien L line.
