St. Thomas the Apostle College is a Roman Catholic secondary school for boys in Nunhead, London. A co-educational Sixth Form was opened in 2015. The school was rebuilt and the new school building was opened by the Archbishop of Southwark, Peter Smith, in January 2013. The original Catholic chapel, an important feature in the life of the school, was retained and is the focus for the Catholic and pastoral life of the students. In September 2015, St Thomas the Apostle College expanded its provision by opening a co-educational Sixth Form.

Brimmington Park is a small 1.79 hectares (4.4 acres) park in Peckham, London. It is located on Old Kent Road, Clifton Crescent and Culmore Road, London SE15 2RQ. It is also adjacent to the former Old Kent Road and Hatcham railway station, which closed temporarily in 1917 but which has never been re-opened.

The Spike Surplus Scheme was a community-run self-managed social centre in a squatted building in Peckham, South London. It was occupied in 1999 and provided a range of mostly free activities for local people until its eviction in 2009 by Southwark Council.

New Cross Fire Station is a Grade II listed building at 266 Queens Road, New Cross, London.It was built in 1893–94 and the architect was Robert Pearsall.George Arthur Roberts, founder and pioneer of the discussion and education groups of the fire service, was stationed here during World War II.

The Ledbury Estate is a large estate of social housing, in Peckham in the London Borough of Southwark. The estate is just south of the Old Kent Road, part of the A2 4 kilometres (2.5 mi) from both Tower Bridge and the Elephant & Castle it is adjacent to land used by George Livesey for the South London Gasworks. It was found, while making fire safety checks in 2017 in the wake of the Grenfell Tower fire, that the blocks had not been strengthened, as required after Ronan Point collapse in 1968.

Southwark Free School was a free school for pupils aged 4–11, that was opened in 2012 against local advice in Bermondsey, in the London Borough of Southwark, in the United Kingdom. It attracted a maximum of 60 children and closed abruptly in February 2017.
