Pueblo Nuevo is a corregimiento within Panama City, in Panamá District, Panamá Province, Panama with a population of 18,984 as of 2010. Its population as of 1990 was 21,289; its population as of 2000 was 18,161.

Pueblo Nuevo is a Panama Metro station on Line 1. It was one of the first 11 stations when the metro began operations on 6 April 2014. It is the second of six elevated stations when travelling towards the San Isidro terminus.The station is located in the district of the same name, in one of the city's more important industrial zones. It is the least-used station on the network, carrying only 1% of the network's passengers at peak times. In June 2016, the station was used by 1,679 people per day on average, in contrast to the preceding and following stations, 12 de Octubre and San Miguelito, which were used by over 34,000 people daily. Architect Álvaro Uribe justified the station's creation on the basis that it would encourage future development in the area.

El Ingenio is a Panama Metro station on Line 1. It was originally scheduled to open in August 2014, but opened on 8 May 2015. The station cost US$30 million and was officially opened by ministers Roberto Roy and Álvaro Alemán. It was the thirteenth station opened on the network and is the final underground station before the elevated 12 de Octubre station.It serves the neighbourhood of El Ingenio, the major thoroughfare of Avenida Transístmica and also provides access to many colleges located nearby.

Río Abajo is a corregimiento within Panama City, in Panamá District, Panamá Province, Panama with a population of 26,607 as of 2010. Its population as of 1990 was 33,155; its population as of 2000 was 28,714. It is a West Indian neighborhood; the unique culture of this area of Panama stems mainly from the English Caribbean people who relocated to the area from Anglophone islands in the Antilles more than a century ago, namely Jamaica and Barbados. Rio Abajo consists of over 30 streets, the most notable are 4th, 13th and 17th streets, 2 story wood houses, churches with old southern architecture. Rio Abajo is also the name of a river flowing through Rio Abajo neighborhood. One of Rio Abajo's most famous sons is El General (born Edgardo A. Franco), arguably the one musical artist who most helped to spread the popularity of Spanish Reggae. The latter a product of Panamanian youth of Caribbean descent with the first known one to be sung by Renato.

San Miguelito is a Panama Metro station. It is an interchange station on Line 1 and Line 2. It was one of the first 11 stations when the metro began operations on 6 April 2014. It is the third of six elevated stations when travelling towards the terminus of San Isidro.The station is located in San Miguelito District. As of 2015, it was the fourth most used station on the network at peak times, carrying 13% of the network's passengers.In October 2016 construction of the station's line 2 platforms began. The Line 2 station was opened on 26 April 2019 as the western terminus of the initial section of Line 2 between San Miguelito and Nuevo Tocumen.

The Biblioteca Nacional de Panamá (in English: National Library of Panama), in Panama City, is the legal deposit and copyright library for Panama. The library opened its doors on July 11, 1942, in a room located between 5th and 6th streets, adjacent to the presidency. In January 1961 the venue was moved to a building which had previously served as the Ricardo H. Newman College. On September 24, 1987, the library moved to Memorial Park Omar Torrijos, on Avenida Belisario Porras.

The tunnels to the station were completed in August 2012 and it was one of the first 11 stations when the metro began operations on 6 April 2014.The station serves the Vista Hermosa neighbourhood. In April 2016, the network's metro library was opened in the station. In its first year of operations, it was the seventh most used station of the twelve on the network at that time, carrying 12% of the system's users at peak times.
