Wiesbaden-Breckenheim

The Ländchen was a region east of Wiesbaden, Germany that comprised ten villages: Breckenheim, Delkenheim, Diedenbergen, Igstadt, Langenhain, Massenheim, Medenbach, Nordenstadt, Wallau, and Wildsachsen, plus Domäne Mechtildshausen. Ländchen was a Hessian territory for about 300 years. It was bounded by the County of Nassau to the west and the territory of the Archbishopric of Mainz to the east. (It is distinct from the Blue Ländchen at Nastätten.) Breckenheim, Delkenheim, Igstadt, Medenbach, and Nordenstadt are now boroughs of Wiesbaden. Domäne Mechtildshausen is also part of the borough of Wiesbaden-Erbenheim. Diedenbergen, Langenhain, Wallau, and Wildsachsen are now boroughs of Hofheim am Taunus. Massenheim is a borough of Hochheim am Main. The Ländchen gives its name to a railway line, the Ländchesbahn, which traverses this territory.

Nordenstadt is one of Wiesbaden's eastern suburbs, and was incorporated into the city of Wiesbaden on 1 January 1977. Its population is 7,829 (2020). It hosted the first corporate headquarters of Daewoo Germany in the early 1990s.

The Wiesbadener Kreuz is a full cloverleaf interchange near the Hessian state capital of Wiesbaden in Germany where the Autobahnen A3 and A66 meet. It lies within the northeastern edge of Hochheim am Main. The interchange was opened in 1939 and was one of the first interchanges in Germany. Used by approximately 210,000 vehicles per day, it is one of the most frequented interchanges in Hesse and Germany.The portion of the A3 between the Wiesbadener Kreuz and Kreuz Fürth/Erlangen is traditionally one of the most congested sections of Autobahn in Germany.The road has over the years undergone many projects to improve traffic flow and repairing/replacing the surface, including replacing the bridges that take the A3 over the A66.

Igstadt is an eastern borough of Wiesbaden, capital of the state of Hesse, Germany. It was incorporated into Wiesbaden on April 1, 1928 and currently has about 2,200 residents. Igstadt is situated on the eastern slope of the Wäschbachtal valley at an elevation of 169 to 211 m above sea level. It is traversed by the Wiesbaden-Niedernhausen rail line. It is surrounded by agricultural land. Recreational areas include the Wickerbachtal Nature Reserve between Igstadt and Kloppenheim.

The Frankfurt Main Cemetery (German: Hauptfriedhof) is the largest cemetery in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. It was opened in 1828. The cemetery is located directly adjacent to two Jewish cemeteries—the Old Jewish Cemetery (opened together with the Main Cemetery in 1828) and the New Jewish Cemetery, Frankfurt (opened in 1928)—and together they form one of the largest cemetery areas in Germany. The cemetery is noted for its many monumental graves, its garden architecture and as the site of the graves of many notable individuals.

The Rhein-Main Arena or Speedway Arena Diedenbergen is an 6,500 capacity motorcycle speedway and Flat track facility in Hofheim am Taunus, Germany. The track is located on the Wildsachsener Str road, on the northern outskirts of the village Diedenbergen and south west outskirts of Hofheim am Taunus. The track hosts the speedway team MSC Diedenbergen who race in the German Team Speedway Championship.The stadium has been a significant venue for major speedway events, including the final of the 1996 Speedway World Team Cup.Since 2020, it has held a round of the FIM Flat Track World Championship.

Langenhain is a village and a district in the town of Hofheim, Hesse, near Frankfurt, Germany. The village was incorporated into Hofheim in 1972, and it is in the north part of the city. The district currently has a population of around 4,000.Roman settlers first left behind a series of graves near 500 BC, and the first historical references to the town were in 1309. Historical landmarks in the town include the Protestant church built in 1748, as well as some half-timbered houses. The newest and most prominent landmark in the district is the Baha'i House of Worship that was finished in 1964.

Hochheim am Main (German pronunciation: [ˈhoːxˌhaɪ̯m am ˌmaɪ̯n] (listen); Old English: Hockamore) is a town in the Main-Taunus district of the German state of Hesse. It is located near the right bank of the river Main three miles above its confluence with the Rhine, as well as on the German Timber-Frame Road.

Hochheim station is situated on the Frankfurt–Wiesbaden line (line number 3603; timetable section 645.1). It is in the town of Hochheim am Main, southwest of Frankfurt in the German state of Hesse. It is on the Taunus Railway (German: Taunus-Eisenbahn) from Wiesbaden to Frankfurt. The station is classified by Deutsche Bahn as a category 5 station.

Kloppenheim is a borough of Wiesbaden, capital of the federal state of Hesse, Germany. Kloppenheim was incorporated into Wiesbaden in 1928. The adjacent boroughs are (clockwise, starting in the north) Naurod, Auringen, Medenbach, Igstadt, Bierstadt, and Heßloch.

Erbenheim is a borough of Wiesbaden, capital of the federal state of Hesse, Germany. It has about 10,000 inhabitants. Formerly an independent municipality, the settlement was incorporated into Wiesbaden on April 10, 1928. Militärflugplatz-Erbenheim (Lucius D. Clay Kaserne) is home to U.S. Army Europe and Africa.

Eppstein is a town in the Main-Taunus-Kreis, in Hesse, Germany.
