The Kota Damansara Community Forest Park (KDCFP) is a secondary forest located in Selangor, Malaysia. It was part of a defunct Sungai Buloh Forest Reserve gazetted in 1898 which contained 3,900 acres (16 km2) of protected primary forest. This made it as the oldest forest reserve in Peninsular Malaysia. The forest reserve was degazetted a number of times and subsequent development brought down the size of the reserve to a 857-acre (3.5 km2). Logging activities especially has turned the area into a secondary forest. This results in the abundance of pioneer plants as well as rare species of plant such as Begonia aequilateralis. Despite being a secondary forest, a number of primary forest species such as meranti are observable at the park. Furthermore, KDCFP is a dipterocarp forest typically found in tropical countries such as Malaysia. The area is a combination of flat land and low elevation hill.The trademark of KDCFP is an artificial lake. The lake was created in early 2000s due to the building of a road that blocked a small stream that flows through the park. This has introduced aquatic flora and fauna attributable to slow-flowing water body to the area.

The Damansara Damai MRT station is a mass rapid transit (MRT) station under construction that will serve the suburb of Damansara Damai in Selangor, Malaysia. It is one of the stations being built as part of the Klang Valley Mass Rapid Transit (KVMRT) project on the Sungai Buloh-Serdang-Putrajaya Line. The station is located on the Sungai Buloh Highway. The station is expected to be completed and to start operations in 16 June 2022.

Bandar Sri Damansara is a residential township in northern Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia. The township is divided into two sections, SD1-SD5 in the north and SD7-SD15 in the south which are separated by Kuala Selangor-Kepong Highway. It is adjacent to Kepong and Sungai Buloh. The township consists of mixed development of commercial and residential properties. It was previously developed by Land and General Berhad and currently by TA Global.

The Twintech International University College of Technology, or Twintech for short, is a private publicly funded university college in Malaysia. The main campus is in Bandar Sri Damansara, Petaling District, Selangor. Twintech International University College of Technology, formerly known as L&G-Twintech Institute of Technology, is a private institution of higher learning licensed by the Ministry of Education. The university college is owned and managed by Twintech Holding Sdn. Bhd. The university was founded to provide training in the fields of Architecture & Built Environment, Business & Finance, Computer Science & Multimedia, Engineering & Industrial Technology, Biotechnology, Nursing & Health Science, Optometry, Education, Music & Performing Art. Twintech started from a modest, rented premises in Setapak. Presently, it has three campuses at Bandar Sri Damansara, Kota Kinabalu, and Kota Bharu with facilities and amenities, including computing suites, engineering laboratories, architectural studios, and biotechnology laboratories. Twintech has around 4,000 students studying local and overseas twinning programmes. Approximately 150 local and overseas full-time lecturers support the academic programmes at Twintech. All programmes will be awarded internally; some will be quality-controlled by universities from United Kingdom and local universities. The university offers programme such B. Optometry (Hons), B. Nursing, B. Biotechnology and more. In the same location, there are Wisma Twintech home two faculties: Faculty of Optometry and Faculty of Biotechnology.

It is also a state seat constituency which is sandwiched between Subang and Petaling Jaya. Notable landmarks located near the constituency are the Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport and the Rubber Research Institute of Malaysia. Kota Damansara comes under the Sungai Buloh parliamentary constituency.

This village is next to Taman Tun Dr Ismail in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia which also shares the same 60000 KUALA LUMPUR postcode, and adjacent to Mutiara Damansara and Bandar Utama that were once part of a large oil palm plantation across the interstate border. Despite the fact that the Government has gazetted Kampung Sungai Penchala as one of the Malay Reserve lands in Kuala Lumpur, this village is being actively developed and is arguably the most rapidly developed areas in the past 10 years with many developments having taken place.

The Kampung Selamat station is a mass rapid transit (MRT) station serving the areas of Kampung Selamat and Kampung Baru Sungai Buloh in Sungai Buloh, Selangor, Malaysia. The station was one of the stations on the MRT Kajang Line and was opened on 16 December 2016 under Phase One operations of the line.The station name is taken from the nearby Kampung Selamat (English: Safe Village) which lies on the east side of Jalan Sungai Buloh. Although currently a station on the MRT Kajang Line, the station will be one of three which will be transferred to the MRT Putrajaya Line when it begins operations in November 2021.

The Kwasa Damansara station is a mass rapid transit (MRT) station that serves the future township of Kwasa Damansara in Selangor, Malaysia, which is currently being developed. It is one of the stations of the MRT Kajang Line and was opened on 16 December 2016 under Phase One opening of the line.The ceremony to launch Phase One of line by the Prime Minister of Malaysia Najib Razak was held at this station on 15 December 2016.The station will later become an interchange station between the MRT Kajang Line and MRT Putrajaya Line which is completed and scheduled to be opened soon to serve public, with both lines having their terminus at this station.

IPC Shopping Centre (formerly Ikano Power Centre) is a shopping centre anchored by IKEA near The Curve in Mutiara Damansara, Selangor, Malaysia. It opened in December 2003 and has 5 floors. It was known as the Ikano Power Centre back then. After extensive renovations done, it opened in November 2017 as IPC Shopping Centre.
