Bukit Lanjan is a Malaysian hill in the Petaling district of Selangor. It is also the name of a state constituency of the Selangor State Assembly. Bukit Lanjan is part of the Damansara parliamentary constituency. The Bukit Lanjan state constituency includes Bandar Utama Damansara, Bandar Sri Damansara, Mutiara Damansara, Damansara Perdana and Kayu Ara. There are 25,550 registered voters in Bukit Lanjan of whom 52.8% are Chinese, 31.8% Malays, 14.7% Indians and 0.7% others. Bukit Lanjan has a population of about 50,000. Of the total number, 25% are in the lower-income group residing in Kampung Sungei Kayu Ara and the Pelangi Damansara low-cost flats. The upper-income group makes up about 35% of the population in areas like Bandar Utama, Mutiara Damansara, Damansara Perdana and Bandar Sri Damansara, while the remaining 40% is the middle-income group. The most common complaints from the residents in the constituency are about the infrastructure - the upgrading and maintenance of drains, roads and fields - and security matters such as car thefts and house break-ins. There is also constant traffic congestion leading to 1 Utama Shopping Centre and IKEA, and the roadside hawker issue at Bandar Sri Damansara. There was an Orang Asli village on the hill previously, consisting mainly of the Temuan tribe. But today the village has been relocated to Desa Temuan, near Damansara Perdana. Their "Batin" (meaning leader in Temuan language) name is Kanau. 30 percent of Temuan here are Muslim, 20 percent are Christian and 50 percent are animists, believing in the power of nature.

The Kwasa Damansara station is a mass rapid transit (MRT) station that serves the future township of Kwasa Damansara in Selangor, Malaysia, which is currently being developed. It is one of the stations of the MRT Kajang Line and was opened on 16 December 2016 under Phase One opening of the line.The ceremony to launch Phase One of line by the Prime Minister of Malaysia Najib Razak was held at this station on 15 December 2016.The station will later become an interchange station between the MRT Kajang Line and MRT Putrajaya Line which is completed and scheduled to be opened soon to serve public, with both lines having their terminus at this station.

The Damansara Damai MRT station is a mass rapid transit (MRT) station under construction that will serve the suburb of Damansara Damai in Selangor, Malaysia. It is one of the stations being built as part of the Klang Valley Mass Rapid Transit (KVMRT) project on the Sungai Buloh-Serdang-Putrajaya Line. The station is located on the Sungai Buloh Highway. The station is expected to be completed and to start operations in 16 June 2022.

The Kampung Selamat station is a mass rapid transit (MRT) station serving the areas of Kampung Selamat and Kampung Baru Sungai Buloh in Sungai Buloh, Selangor, Malaysia. The station was one of the stations on the MRT Kajang Line and was opened on 16 December 2016 under Phase One operations of the line.The station name is taken from the nearby Kampung Selamat (English: Safe Village) which lies on the east side of Jalan Sungai Buloh. Although currently a station on the MRT Kajang Line, the station will be one of three which will be transferred to the MRT Putrajaya Line when it begins operations in November 2021.

The township is divided into two sections, SD1-SD5 in the north and SD7-SD15 in the south which are separated by Kuala Selangor-Kepong Highway. It is adjacent to Kepong and Sungai Buloh. The township consists of mixed development of commercial and residential properties. It was previously developed by Land and General Berhad and currently by TA Global.

Surian station is a mass rapid transit (MRT) station serving the suburb of Kota Damansara in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia. It is one of the stations on the MRT Sungai Buloh-Kajang Line. The station is named after Persiaran Surian, the road above which the station is situated. The station was opened on 16 December 2016 under phase one operations of the MRT Sungai Buloh-Kajang Line.The station is located near the Dataran Sunway commercial area in Kota Damansara where the Sunway Giza Shopping Centre, Sunway Nexis and many shops are located.

Mutiara Damansara station is a mass rapid transit station serving the suburb of Mutiara Damansara in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia. It is one of the stations on the MRT Kajang Line. The station was opened on 16 December 2016 when the first phase of the line was opened.The station is located adjacent to the Mutiara Damansara commercial area where The Curve Shopping Centre, Royale Chulan Hotel, IKEA Damansara, Lotus's Mutiara Damansara and other buildings are located.
