The Twintech International University College of Technology, or Twintech for short, is a private publicly funded university college in Malaysia. The main campus is in Bandar Sri Damansara, Petaling District, Selangor. Twintech International University College of Technology, formerly known as L&G-Twintech Institute of Technology, is a private institution of higher learning licensed by the Ministry of Education. The university college is owned and managed by Twintech Holding Sdn. Bhd. The university was founded to provide training in the fields of Architecture & Built Environment, Business & Finance, Computer Science & Multimedia, Engineering & Industrial Technology, Biotechnology, Nursing & Health Science, Optometry, Education, Music & Performing Art. Twintech started from a modest, rented premises in Setapak. Presently, it has three campuses at Bandar Sri Damansara, Kota Kinabalu, and Kota Bharu with facilities and amenities, including computing suites, engineering laboratories, architectural studios, and biotechnology laboratories. Twintech has around 4,000 students studying local and overseas twinning programmes. Approximately 150 local and overseas full-time lecturers support the academic programmes at Twintech. All programmes will be awarded internally; some will be quality-controlled by universities from United Kingdom and local universities. The university offers programme such B. Optometry (Hons), B. Nursing, B. Biotechnology and more. Over 61 programmes are under approval status, another 42 programmes are within provisional status and 24 programmes are fully accredited status with the MQA (Malaysian Qualifications Agency). Bandar Sri Damansara is the main campus. The main campus is home for seven faculties: Engineering & Industrial Technology, Architecture & Build Environment, Nursing & Health Sciences, Computer Science & Multimedia, Education, Music & Performing Art. In the same location, there are Wisma Twintech home two faculties: Faculty of Optometry and Faculty of Biotechnology.

The Imam Al Ghazali Mosque (Malay: Masjid Imam Al Ghazali) is a mosque in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This mosque is located at Bandar Manjalara and was named after Imam Al-Ghazali, a Muslim philosopher.

Menjalara is a major township in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It is located between Kepong and Sri Damansara. Menjalara is situated adjacent to Bukit Maluri. It was named after Paduka Seri Cik Menjalara (Makche Menjalara), the mother of the first Prime Minister of Malaysia, Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra Al-Haj. It was called as Edinburgh Estate before its establishment in 1980s. Menjalara is located adjacent to the highway Damansara–Puchong Expressway. Bandar Menjalara Community Hall is located beside the Menjalara Lake Park which are owned by Kuala Lumpur City Hall. A ramp for the Duta–Ulu Klang Expressway are located at the intersection between Bandar Menjalara and Taman Bukit Maluri.

Bukit Lanjan is a Malaysian hill in the Petaling district of Selangor. It is also the name of a state constituency of the Selangor State Assembly. Bukit Lanjan is part of the Damansara parliamentary constituency. The Bukit Lanjan state constituency includes Bandar Utama Damansara, Bandar Sri Damansara, Mutiara Damansara, Damansara Perdana and Kayu Ara. There are 25,550 registered voters in Bukit Lanjan of whom 52.8% are Chinese, 31.8% Malays, 14.7% Indians and 0.7% others. Bukit Lanjan has a population of about 50,000. Of the total number, 25% are in the lower-income group residing in Kampung Sungei Kayu Ara and the Pelangi Damansara low-cost flats. The upper-income group makes up about 35% of the population in areas like Bandar Utama, Mutiara Damansara, Damansara Perdana and Bandar Sri Damansara, while the remaining 40% is the middle-income group. The most common complaints from the residents in the constituency are about the infrastructure - the upgrading and maintenance of drains, roads and fields - and security matters such as car thefts and house break-ins. There is also constant traffic congestion leading to 1 Utama Shopping Centre and IKEA, and the roadside hawker issue at Bandar Sri Damansara. There was an Orang Asli village on the hill previously, consisting mainly of the Temuan tribe. But today the village has been relocated to Desa Temuan, near Damansara Perdana. Their "Batin" (meaning leader in Temuan language) name is Kanau. 30 percent of Temuan here are Muslim, 20 percent are Christian and 50 percent are animists, believing in the power of nature.

The Kepong Sentral Komuter station is a KTM Komuter train station located in Kepong, in the northwestern area of Kuala Lumpur. The station is the newest addition to the KTM Komuter system, which opened on 1 July 2006. Situated just beside this station is the Kuala Lumpur Middle Ring Road 2 (MRR2). Starting on 1 December 2008, it became one of the stations of the Sentral KL-Ipoh-Sentral KL intercity route. However, it was ceased in August 2010 and replaced by the KTM ETS services. The Kepong Sentral Komuter station was built to cater to the traffic in Kepong, a suburban area. The Kepong Komuter station, which also serves the same locality is located 1 km away. The MRT Putrajaya line will be connected to this station, and is currently under construction. The station will be named Sri Damansara Timur and is set to open in March 2022. The station will serve the suburbs of Bandar Sri Damansara in Selangor and Kepong in Kuala Lumpur.

The Damansara Damai MRT station is a mass rapid transit (MRT) station under construction that will serve the suburb of Damansara Damai in Selangor, Malaysia. It is one of the stations being built as part of the Klang Valley Mass Rapid Transit (KVMRT) project on the Sungai Buloh-Serdang-Putrajaya Line. The station is located on the Sungai Buloh Highway. The station is expected to be completed and to start operations in 16 June 2022.

The Kepong Komuter station (formerly Kepong railway station) is a Malaysian commuter train station located in the northern area of Kuala Lumpur along the Port Klang Line. The station is located along Jalan 32, Kepong Garden (Taman Kepong). The Kepong Komuter station was built to cater increasing traffic in a suburban area with the similar name called Kepong. The Kepong Sentral Komuter station, which also serves the same locality, is located 1 km away. As there are no other train systems that operate here other than KTM Komuter, this station can be packed at certain times. In 2013 a bigger car park was built to facilitate for the number of vehicles used by commuters but this faced some level of opposition from some residents living along Jalan 32 because the greenery had to be destroyed. The main access roads to Kepong are Damansara-Puchong Expressway, Jalan Kuching, MRR II and Jalan Ipoh. RapidKL bus and Metro bus provides transport here.

Ampang Recreational Forest (Malay: Taman Rimba Ampang) is a lowland dipterocarp forest in Ampang, Selangor, Malaysia. It takes its name from the Ampang River, which flows through the forest. The forest is one of the most popular nature sites in the Klang Valley. The stream and shady play-grounds are popular for family outings on weekends.

The Kota Damansara Community Forest Park (KDCFP) is a secondary forest located in Selangor, Malaysia. It was part of a defunct Sungai Buloh Forest Reserve gazetted in 1898 which contained 3,900 acres (16 km2) of protected primary forest. This made it as the oldest forest reserve in Peninsular Malaysia. The forest reserve was degazetted a number of times and subsequent development brought down the size of the reserve to a 857-acre (3.5 km2). Logging activities especially has turned the area into a secondary forest. This results in the abundance of pioneer plants as well as rare species of plant such as Begonia aequilateralis. Despite being a secondary forest, a number of primary forest species such as meranti are observable at the park. Furthermore, KDCFP is a dipterocarp forest typically found in tropical countries such as Malaysia. The area is a combination of flat land and low elevation hill.The trademark of KDCFP is an artificial lake. The lake was created in early 2000s due to the building of a road that blocked a small stream that flows through the park. This has introduced aquatic flora and fauna attributable to slow-flowing water body to the area.

Sungai Buloh Hospital (HSB; Malay: Hospital Sungai Buloh) is a secondary and tertiary hospital located in Sungai Buloh, Petaling District, Selangor, Malaysia. The hospital covers an area of 130 acres. The hospital serves the districts of Gombak, Petaling and Kuala Selangor with a combined population of more than 2.80 million.
