Średnia Krokiew (The Normal Krokiew, in Polish krokiew means rafter) is a ski jumping normal hill in Zakopane, Poland.

Wielka Krokiew (The Great Krokiew, in Polish krokiew means rafter) is the biggest ski jumping hill built on the slope of Krokiew mountain (1378 m) in Zakopane, Poland. It was opened in 1925. Since 1989 the hills bears the official name Wielka Krokiew im. Stanisława Marusarza. It is a regular venue in the FIS Ski jumping World Cup. The capacity of the ski jumping stadium is 40,001. The hill was featured in competitions at the 1939 and 1962 FIS Nordic World Ski Championships as well as the 2001 Universiade. In 1997, Pope John Paul II, while visiting his native country, celebrated a mass at the hill's stadium.Since 2001, due to the success of Polish jumper Adam Małysz, Wielka Krokiew has seen some of the largest audiences in World Cup ski jumping history. During the 2020 Ski Jumping World Cup – Teams, Japanese ski jumper Yukiya Satō (佐藤 幸椰) broke Dawid Kubacki's previous hill record at 143.5m with a massive 147m jump. It was also 4m meters better than the next best jump, at 143m which belonged to Ryōyū Kobayashi (小林 陵侑) from Japan.

Magura is a peak located in the Kasprowy Wierch massif, part of the Western Tatras in Poland. The peak is located between the Uhrocie Kasprowe and the Mała Kopa Królowa in the Western Tatras.The name of the peak originates from the Vlachs, pastoral peoples which introduced grazing to the Tatra Mountains. In their language, the name for the peak relates to a small, isolated peak. Formerly, the peak was named Kopa Jaworzyńska or Kopa, and was grazed on, being part of the Królowa Tundra. The slopes of the peak as a result of excess pasturage underwent strong erosion. At present the flora has regrown on the peak, covering it with creeping pine and grassland.

Zakopane railway station is a railway station in Zakopane (Lesser Poland), Poland and the terminus of PKP rail line 99. The station was opened in 1899 and electrified in 1975. It is also the highest situated staffed railway station in Poland at 835 metres above sea level. As of 2023, it is served by Koleje Śląskie (Silesian Voivodeship Railways), Polregio, and PKP Intercity (EIC, InterCity, and TLK services).

Kasprowy Wierch (Polish pronunciation: [kasˈprɔvɨ ˈvjɛrx]; Slovak; Kasprov vrch; sometimes in Kasper Peak) is a peak of a long crest in the Western Tatras one of Poland's main winter ski areas. Its dominant southern crests mark the border with Slovakia. It is accessible in most conditions by foot and daily by cablecar.

Zakopane (Podhale Goral: Zokopane) is a town in the south of Poland, in the southern part of the Podhale region at the foot of the Tatra Mountains. Tatra County (Polish: powiat tatrzański) is a unit of territorial administration and local government (powiat) in Lesser Poland Voivodeship, southern Poland, on the Slovak border. It came into being on January 1, 1999, as a result of the Polish local government reforms passed in 1998. Its administrative seat and only town is Zakopane, which lies 85 kilometres (53 mi) south of the regional capital Kraków. The county takes its name from the Tatra mountain range, which covers most of its territory. The county covers an area of 471.62 square kilometres (182.1 sq mi). As of 2006 its total population is 65,393, out of which the population of Zakopane is 27,486 and the rural population is 37,907. The mountainous southern part of the county (211 km2) makes up the Tatra National Park. This area, together with the Slovak Tatra National Park across the border, make up a UNESCO-designated biosphere reserve.

Zielony Staw Gąsienicowy (Polish: Zielony Staw Gąsienicowy) is a tarn in Poland, part of the Gąsienicowe Ponds in the High Tatras. The lake is located at an elevation of 1,672 metres (5,486 ft) in a corrie of the Skrajna pyramidal peak. The tarn was formerly named Suczy Staw. Zielony Staw Gąsienicowy is the largest lake in the Zielona Gąsienicowa Valley.

Kurtkowiec (Polish: Kurtkowiec) is an oligotrophic lake part of the Gąsienicowe Ponds, located in the Tatra Mountains in Poland. The lake is located in the western part of the Gąsienicowa Valley, at an elevation of 1,686 metres (5,531 ft).
