101 California Street

388 Market Street is a 24-story, 94 m (308 ft) mixed-use flatiron skyscraper, completed in 1987 on Market Street in the financial district of San Francisco, California. The building is clad in red granite. The top seven floors house luxury apartments, while the lower floors contain office space. It was designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill.

Embarcadero station is a combined BART and Muni Metro rapid transit subway station in the Market Street subway in downtown San Francisco. Located under Market Street between Drumm Street and Beale Street near The Embarcadero, it serves the Financial District neighborhood and surrounding areas. The three-level station has a large fare mezzanine level, with separate platform levels for Muni Metro and BART below. Embarcadero station opened in May 1976 – almost two years after service began through the Transbay Tube – as an infill station. Embarcadero and nearby Montgomery Street stations are typically the two busiest in the BART system. The station is served by the BART Red, Yellow, Green Line, and Blue lines, and the Muni Metro J Church, K Ingleside, L Taraval, M Ocean View, N Judah, and S Shuttle lines. A major Bay Area transit hub, Embarcadero is also served by numerous bus routes of several other agencies which stop above the station and on surrounding streets.

100 Pine Center is a class-A office building at the northwest corner of Pine Street and Front Street in San Francisco's Financial District. The building is 145 m (476 ft) with 33 floors, and 402,500 sq ft (37,000 m2) of rentable office space, a 150-car garage including 30 valet parking spaces.Completed in 1972 as headquarters of the Continental Insurance Company, the building is among the earlier of San Francisco's modern skyscrapers. It is one of 39 San Francisco high rises reported by the U.S. Geological Survey as potentially vulnerable to a large earthquake, due to a flawed welding technique. By the start of the dot-com bubble the property, then owned by Grosvenor Properties, was outdated and suffered from deferred capital maintenance.In 1997, the building was purchased by Walton Capital, which invested heavily in upgrades, re-measured the building at 36,000 square feet (3,300 m2) larger than before, then aggressively re-leased space at higher rates. After two failed transactions, Walton Capital sold the building to investors led by Unico Properties in May 2000 for US$156 million. Unico re-sold the property to the Alaska Permanent Fund based on a US$149 million price in August 2005, but retained a minority ownership share. The property was acquired by the Rockpoint Group in February 2017 for US$287.5 million.

One Front Street, formerly known as Shaklee Terraces, is an office skyscraper in the Financial District of San Francisco, California. The 164 m (538 ft), 38-floor tower was completed in 1979. The composition of the façade closely resembles that of the Shell Building by Emil Fahrenkamp, which was built in Berlin in 1931. The Shaklee Corporation was once headquartered in the tower until the company relocated its corporate operations to east suburban Pleasanton in 1999. In 1999-2001 Scient Corporation, a dot-com era consulting firm, had its head office on the upper floors of the building, prior to its move to Market Street.

Yerba Buena was the original name of the settlement that later became San Francisco. 425 Market Street is an office skyscraper located on the corner of Market and Fremont Streets in the financial district of San Francisco, California. The 160 m (520 ft), 38 floor office tower was completed in 1973. It was built by the Metropolitan Life Insurance Company as their "Pacific Coast Headquarters" and was called "1 Metropolitan Plaza". It was built as a modern replacement for their older headquarters on Nob Hill at 600 Stockton Street (now remodeled as the Ritz-Carlton Hotel). It was among the first buildings in San Francisco to have a high-speed transport system (a glorified dumb waiter) for computer data cards, files and inner-office mail, at the time a state-of-the-art system.Its largest tenant today is law firm Morrison & Foerster LLP. The building is partially owned by the Government Pension Fund of Norway, who according to their 2015 report owns 47.5%.
