Frost Garrison and House

The McIntire Garrison House is a historic house on Cider Hill Road (Maine State Route 91) in York, Maine. Built c. 1707, it is an extremely rare well-preserved example of a New England colonial log garrison house, built by settlers for defense against Native American attacks. The house, possibly the oldest in the state, was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1968.

The Paul Family Farm is a historic farmstead at 106 Depot Road in Eliot, Maine. Consisting of a well-preserved early-19th century Federal style farmhouse and a small collection of early-20th century outbuildings, it is a representative example of 19th-century farming in the area. The farmhouse parlor is further notable for the c. 1820s stencilwork on its walls. The property was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1998.

The Barrell Homestead is a historic house at 71 Beech Ridge Road in York, Maine, United States. At the core of this three-story house is a c. 1720 late First Period house, which has been in the hands of a single family since 1758. It was home to one of York's most colorful residents of the second half of the 18th century, Nathaniel Barrell. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976.

Eliot is a town in York County, Maine, United States. Originally settled in 1623, it was formerly a part of Kittery, to its east. After Kittery, it is the next most southern town in the state of Maine, lying on the Piscataqua River across from Portsmouth and Newington, New Hampshire. The population was 6,717 at the 2020 census. It is part of the Portland–South Portland–Biddeford, Maine metropolitan statistical area. Eliot is home to Ambush Rock, Green Acre, and the Raitt Homestead Farm Museum.

Weathervane Seafood Restaurants is a seafood chain in New England. It was founded in Kittery, Maine, in 1969 by Raymond and Bea Gagner. It is based in Kittery, Maine. The chain has five locations, with one in Kittery, Maine and four in New Hampshire; Dover, Chichester, West Lebanon, and a seasonal location on Weirs Beach in Laconia.

Punkintown (or Punkin Town), once known as Emerytown, Emery Town, or Emeryville, was a village situated at the corners of South Berwick, Eliot, and York, Maine from the 1800s through the early 1900s. At its peak, between seven and ten families gave the small town its population of somewhere between 30 and 40 people. The families operated sawmills, a granite quarry, and a gristmill. Its main water source was York Pond, which bordered the village to the north. The town was located on a main road connecting Dover, NH to York, ME. To this day, this part of Eliot is still referred to as the "Punkintown section."

The William Fogg Library is the public library of Eliot, Maine. It is located at the junction of Old and State Roads, in an architecturally distinguished building constructed in 1907 via a bequest from Dr. John S. H. Fogg in memory of his father William. The building was designed by C. Howard Walker, and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on December 21, 1991.

The Raitt Homestead Farm Museum is a farm museum in Eliot, Maine. The Raitt Homestead Farm was built in 1896 on 33 acres (13 ha). The owner, Charles A. Raitt, used the farm to manufacture bricks, maintain a sawmill and grow an apple orchard. Upon Charles' death, the farm was inherited by his son Roland. During the Great Depression of the 1930s, the farm was turned into a dairy farm. When Roland Raitt died in 1962, the farm went to his son Gerald. The adjacent apple orchard, which had previously been sold, was reacquired and added to the farmstead. In 1996, the first Eliot Antique Tractor & Engine Show was held on the farm and the Eliot Antique Tractor & Engine Association was formed. The Association was granted non-profit status and in 2003, Gerald Raitt donated the homestead to the Association in exchange for a life interest in the property. The Raitt Homestead Farm Museum is open only during events. It is a 100% all volunteer organization dedicated to the preservation of farming history. The Raitt Farm educates children and the community at large about farming history and the importance of growing your own food and preserving nature. They are preserving the 33 acre former dairy farm and maintain all the various buildings on the property. There is an abundance of wildlife that lives on the farm year round as well.

The Dennett Garrison is a historic First Period house at 100 Dennett Road in Kittery, Maine. With an estimated construction date of 1710, it is one of the oldest surviving buildings in the state of Maine. When listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978, it was still owned by descendants of its builder, John Dennett.

Marshwood High School is a public high school in York County, Maine, United States. It serves the towns of Eliot and South Berwick, as well as Rollinsford, New Hampshire. It has been at its current location at 260 Dow Highway (Route 236) in South Berwick since September 1999, when it was moved from its previous location in Eliot. The current site is about 10 miles (16 km) from both Portsmouth, New Hampshire, and Kittery, Maine. The school's mascot is the Hawk. The school offers a variety of varsity athletics.

The Conway Junction Railroad Turntable Site is the foundational remnants of what was once a major railroad junction in South Berwick, Maine. Consisting of a circular granite railroad turntable foundation and an engine house foundation, it is the only major surviving reminder of Great Falls and South Berwick Railroad. The site was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.

The Isabella Breckinridge House also known as River House, and formerly the Breckinridge Public Affairs Center of Bowdoin College, is a historic house at 201 US Route 1 in York, Maine, United States. The main house, designed by architect Guy Lowell, is a 23-room mansion which was built in 1905 for Mary Goodrich, widow of tire magnate B. F. Goodrich. It is located on a 26-acre (11 ha) estate facing the York River. The property was given to Bowdoin College by Mary Marvin Breckinridge Patterson in 1974, and the college operated it as a conference center until it was sold into private hands in 2004. The house was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. It is one of Maine's most architecturally distinctive and unusual early 20th-century summer estate houses.
