McIntire Garrison House

The Barrell Homestead is a historic house at 71 Beech Ridge Road in York, Maine, United States. At the core of this three-story house is a c. 1720 late First Period house, which has been in the hands of a single family since 1758. It was home to one of York's most colorful residents of the second half of the 18th century, Nathaniel Barrell. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976.

The Frost Garrison and House are a cluster of colonial-era buildings on Garrison Drive in Eliot, Maine. Sited on Frost's Hill, the complex includes a c. 1778 house, and two structures, the oldest dating to 1735, constructed as strongholds against Native American attacks. The older one is the only known surviviving garrison built for the defense of a single family. The house is also the ancestral home of poet Robert Frost, who is known to have visited the area. The complex was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1971. His niece, Mara Frost Marshall, was also born there.

The Isabella Breckinridge House also known as River House, and formerly the Breckinridge Public Affairs Center of Bowdoin College, is a historic house at 201 US Route 1 in York, Maine, United States. The main house, designed by architect Guy Lowell, is a 23-room mansion which was built in 1905 for Mary Goodrich, widow of tire magnate B. F. Goodrich. It is located on a 26-acre (11 ha) estate facing the York River. The property was given to Bowdoin College by Mary Marvin Breckinridge Patterson in 1974, and the college operated it as a conference center until it was sold into private hands in 2004. The house was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. It is one of Maine's most architecturally distinctive and unusual early 20th-century summer estate houses.

The John Sedgley Homestead is a historic homestead property at Scituate and Chases Pond Road in the York Corner area of York, Maine. Its oldest structure built in the late First Period, probably c. 1715, it is the oldest homestead in the State of Maine that is still in its original setting. Historically the homestead included a cape, farm home, carriage house, stables building, two outbuildings, and a large land holding, all of which is still existing today. The property was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976.

The company was founded as a homemade products stall at a local farmers market in 1991 and today sells in 42 countries. They make items such as jam, chutney, jellies, grill sauce, cooking oil and mustard.On March 14, 2022, the company was acquired by TA Associates.

Mount Agamenticus is a 692 ft (211 m) high monadnock in the town of York, Maine. The area surrounding the summit is a park reservation which provides habitat for wildlife and a venue for recreation. The greater Agamenticus region covers nearly 30,000 acres (12,000 ha) in the southern Maine towns of Eliot, Ogunquit, South Berwick, Wells and York.Though under 700 ft (210 m) high, Mount Agamenticus was historically a noted landmark for sailors. It is high enough that from its peak on a clear day one can see the skyscrapers of Boston to the south, Cape Elizabeth and the entrance to Casco Bay to the north, and the Presidential Range, including Mount Washington, to the west. Looking out to sea, the Isles of Shoals - about 10 mi (16 km) off York - and Boon Island - about 6 mi (9.7 km) from the coast - are also clearly visible. The Agamenticus summit can be seen on a clear day from the lookout and the fire control tower at Halibut Point State Park in Rockport, Massachusetts. Mount Agamenticus is also affectionately known by older locals as "Big A," the nickname of a ski slope that once operated on its northeast flank, remnants of which can be seen both near the summit and along the trails. A memorial cairn to Mi'kmaq chief St. Aspinquid, who allegedly converted to Christianity, is located near the summit.

The John Hancock Warehouse is a historic warehouse at 136 Lindsay Street in York, Maine. Built in the 18th century, the small warehouse is notable for its association with Massachusetts politician John Hancock. It is the oldest known commercial structure in the state of Maine. The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places on December 2, 1969. It is now a museum property owned by Museums of Old York.

The Old Schoolhouse, also known as the York Corner Schoolhouse, is an historic one-room school building on the grounds of the Old York Historical Society at York and Lindsay Streets in York, Maine. Built in 1755, it is one of the oldest surviving schoolhouses in all of New England. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973.

The Old York Gaol is a former colonial prison at Lindsay Road and Main Street (United States Route 1A) in York, Maine. Its oldest portion dating to about 1720, it is one of the oldest prison buildings in the United States, and one of the oldest public buildings in the state of Maine. It was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1968. It is owned by the Museums of Old York and is open for tours between May and October.
