Our Lady of the Lake University

Holy Cross of San Antonio is a Catholic, coeducational college preparatory secondary school located in the Loma Vista neighborhood of San Antonio, Texas, on the west side of the city, in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of San Antonio.

San Anto Cultural Arts (SACA) is an American 501(c)(3) art nonprofit founded in 1993 in San Antonio, Texas, U.S.. They operate two programs: the community mural and public art program (CMP), and El Placazo Community Newspaper and mentor program.It was founded Manuel "Manny" Castillo, Cruz Ortiz, and Juan Miguel Ramos. Castillo led the organization as its first Executive Director from 1993 until 2009, until his death. Since 2021, SACA has taught hundreds of students about the arts and has completed more than 60 murals in San Antonio's Westside. SACA has hosted the annual Chancla Fest, with live music, free flip flops, and food since 2022.

Lerma's Nite Club is a former conjunto music venue located in San Antonio, Texas. The building was constructed in 1942, with Lerma's first opening in approximately 1948 under the name El Sombrero, taking up the southern end of the building located on 1602–1612 North Zarzamora Street. The club operated until 2010, when it was shut down due to the building violating safety regulations. The venue appeared in the 1997 film Selena. On March 21, 2011, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places due to its significance in the Hispanic community as well as due to being an important entertainment venue.The building is an example of Streamline Moderne architecture.In 2016, $500,000 was added to San Antonio's city budget dedicated to renovation of the building.

The Basilica of the National Shrine of the Little Flower also called Our Lady of Mount Carmel and St. Thérèse Church is a historic Roman Catholic church, located in San Antonio, Texas, in the United States. The church is distinguished as one of 84 in the United States (and one of only four in the state of Texas) bearing the papal designation of "minor basilica." Despite its religious importance it is not the cathedral of the local diocese; that distinction belongs to San Fernando Cathedral.

Memorial High School is a public high school located in northwest San Antonio, Texas, (USA). It is one of two high schools in the Edgewood Independent School District, and is classified as a 5A school by the UIL. In 2015, the school was rated "Met Standard" by the Texas Education Agency.

Sidney Lanier High School is a local public high school of the San Antonio Independent School District in the westside of San Antonio, Texas (United States). Serving the San Antonio Independent School District, Lanier boasts an enrollment of more than 1700 students.

Alazán-Apache Courts is a public housing community in San Antonio. The neighborhood is located on the city's West Side, and was built in 1939. It was the first public housing built in the city and is currently made up of three different properties: Alazán, Apache and Guadalupe Homes. It is also one of the first public housing projects in the United States and originally served a predominantly Mexican-American neighborhood.

St. Mary's University is a private Marianist university in San Antonio, Texas. Founded by the Society of Mary (Marianists) in 1852, St. Mary's is the oldest Catholic university in Texas and the American Southwest. With a student population of nearly 4,000, St. Mary's is home to a College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences; School of Science, Engineering and Technology; the Greehey School of Business; and the St. Mary's University School of Law.

Bexar County is included in the San Antonio–New Braunfels, TX metropolitan statistical area. It is the 16th-most populous county in the nation and the fourth-most populated in Texas. With a population that is 59.3% Hispanic as of 2020, it is Texas' most populous majority-Hispanic county and the third-largest such nationwide.

V. J. Keefe Memorial Stadium was a multi-use stadium in San Antonio, Texas, USA. It was initially used as the stadium of San Antonio Missions games. It was replaced by Nelson W. Wolff Municipal Stadium for the Missions in 1994. The stadium opened in 1960 and had a final capacity 3,500 spectators.The stadium was located on the campus of St. Mary's University and continued to be used by the school's baseball team until 2013. It was replaced by Dickson Stadium, which was built upon the steel structure of the old venue.

Prospect Hill Missionary Baptist Church (Prospect Hill Baptist Church) is a historic Baptist church building at 1601 Buena Vista in San Antonio, Texas. The Beaux Arts style building was constructed in 1911 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.
