Sidney Lanier High School is a local public high school of the San Antonio Independent School District in the westside of San Antonio, Texas (United States). Serving the San Antonio Independent School District, Lanier boasts an enrollment of more than 1700 students.

Prospect Hill Missionary Baptist Church (Prospect Hill Baptist Church) is a historic Baptist church building at 1601 Buena Vista in San Antonio, Texas. The Beaux Arts style building was constructed in 1911 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.

Alazán-Apache Courts is a public housing community in San Antonio. The neighborhood is located on the city's West Side, and was built in 1939. It was the first public housing built in the city and is currently made up of three different properties: Alazán, Apache and Guadalupe Homes. It is also one of the first public housing projects in the United States and originally served a predominantly Mexican-American neighborhood.

The Alamo Colleges District (previously the Alamo Community College District, or ACCD, and The Alamo Colleges) is a network of five community colleges in San Antonio and Universal City, Texas, and serving the Greater San Antonio metropolitan area. The district was founded in 1945 as the San Antonio Union Junior College District before adopting the Alamo name in 1982.

The Sporting District in the U.S. city of San Antonio, Texas was a red-light district in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. It was established by the city council to manage prostitution in the city. For a time it was one of the nation's largest vice districts with venues ranging from brothels to gambling halls. The area was officially shut down in 1941 resulting from the mobilization for World War II. The term sporting was a common 19th-century euphemism for gambling and/or prostitution. Many communities around the U.S. used this term; brothels were often referred to as sporting houses.

Ximenes Chapel (Chapel of the Miracles) is a historic chapel at 113 Ruiz Street in San Antonio, Texas. The chapel has long been an important gathering place for San Antonio's Mexican-American and Hispanic Catholic population.The chapel was rebuilt in the 1920s to replace the original chapel from 1813, which had been destroyed in a fire. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.

San Anto Cultural Arts (SACA) is an American 501(c)(3) art nonprofit founded in 1993 in San Antonio, Texas, U.S.. They operate two programs: the community mural and public art program (CMP), and El Placazo Community Newspaper and mentor program.It was founded Manuel "Manny" Castillo, Cruz Ortiz, and Juan Miguel Ramos. Castillo led the organization as its first Executive Director from 1993 until 2009, until his death. Since 2021, SACA has taught hundreds of students about the arts and has completed more than 60 murals in San Antonio's Westside. SACA has hosted the annual Chancla Fest, with live music, free flip flops, and food since 2022.

Milam Park, formerly Milam Square, is an urban park located in downtown San Antonio, Texas, United States. Originally used as a burial ground, the park was extablished in 1884. It is named after Benjamin Milam, whose remains are interred under a monument on the west end of the park.

Market Square is a three-block outdoor plaza lined with shops, and restaurants in downtown San Antonio, Texas. Market Square is the largest Mexican market in the United States. The "El Mercado" section has 32 specialty shops and the "Farmer's Market Plaza" section has 80. "Mi Tierra Cafe Y Panaderia" and "La Margarita Mexican Restaurant & Oyster Bar" are the major eateries, but snack and specialty foods are available at other shops. Market Square is the site of Cinco de Mayo in central San Antonio and many other fiestas throughout the year.The "El Mercado" building was built as a Works Progress Administration project during 1938-1939 after the existing municipal market house (known as the Giles building) was torn down. The new building was originally named the "Municipal Truck Market", but locals commonly called it the "Farmer's Market", as farmers sold their produce straight from their trucks inside the open air building. In 1975, the last produce was sold there, and the market house underwent renovation to convert it into an enclosed air-conditioned mercado.

The O. Henry House Museum is a historic house museum located in San Antonio, Texas. It is named for the American writer, William Sydney Porter, better known by his pen name O. Henry, who lived in the house in 1885.

The Frost Tower is a 23-story skyscraper in San Antonio, Texas, USA. It opened in 2019 at a cost of $142 million and is the first new office tower built in downtown San Antonio since 1989 when Weston Centre was built. Frost Tower replaced the old Frost Bank Tower as the headquarters of the eponymously named Frost Bank when it opened in 2019.
