Teatro Sant'Apollinare, also known by its nickname Teatro Sant'Aponal, was an Italian public opera house established in 1651 in Venice in what is today Petriana Court. The Sant'Apollinare was established in a residential building and equipped with advanced stage machinery intended to allow for spectacular stage shows. It was managed in 1651 by impessario and librettist Giovanni Faustini, who died during the first run of his opera La Calisto there. After his death, his brother Marco Faustini took over management of the theater. It was dismantled in 1661 and the rooms returned to residential use.

The Museo Fortuny or Fortuny Museum is an art museum in San Marco, in central Venice, Italy. The museum is housed in the Palazzo Pesaro Orfei, now often known as Palazzo Fortuny, where Mariano Fortuny (1871–1949) had a studio in the late nineteenth century, and lived from 1902.: 49 The museum presents paintings, fabrics, and Fortuny’s lamps on the first floor, together with the history of the palazzo and its atelier on the second floor. The building still has features created by Fortuny. The working environment is represented through wall-hangings, paintings, and lamps. Fortuny died in 1949, and in 1956 the Palazzo Pesaro Orfei was gifted to the comune of Venice; the comune took full possession only in 1965, after the death of Fortuny's widow, Henriette Negrin. The Palazzo Grimani Marcello, also known as Giustinian Querini is a Renaissance-style palace in located on the Grand Canal, between the Palazzo Querini Dubois and the Palazzo Cappello Layard in the sestiere of San Polo of Venice, Italy. A palace at the site originally belonged to the Giustiniani family; the original design is attributed to the studio of Martino Lombardo in the sixteenth century. At the death of Antonio Giustinian in 1732, his daughter Francesca, wife of Piero Grimani, inherited the palace.

The Chiesa di San Benedetto (Church of Saint Benedict) is a Roman Catholic church in Venice, northern Italy. Generally known as San Beneto in the Venetian dialect, the church faces the square named after it, the Campo San Beneto. It was founded in the 11th century and rebuilt in 1685. San Beneto is a vicariale (subsidiary) church of the parish of San Luca.

Artempo: Where Time Becomes Art was an encyclopedic art exhibition created for the Palazzo Fortuny, Venice in 2007. It examined the relationship between art and time, and the power of display. The exhibition included variations of cultures and periods, and featured objects ranging from simple "objecte trouve", archaeological materials, applied art, old, classical, and modern art, to contemporary installations.The exhibition was made by Mattijs Visser and Axel Vervoordt, together with Jean-Hubert Martin. The accompanying book included essays by philosopher Massimo Cacciari, the curator from Magiciens de la terre, Jean-Hubert Martin, the former director of Centre Georges Pompidou, Heinz-Norbert Jocks, as well as Eddi de Wolf and Visser.
