Frenštát pod Radhoštěm

The Kingdom of Wallachia (Czech: Valašské kralovství), named after the region of Moravian Wallachia, is a tongue-in-cheek recessionary association that was founded in 1997 by the photographer Tomáš Harabiš as an "elaborate practical joke". The location is in the southeast corner of the Czech Republic. Since foundation a reported 80,000 Czech citizens have acquired "Wallachian Passports". After the official proclamation of the Wallachian kingdom in 1997, actor Bolek Polívka was enthroned as King Boleslav I the Gracious with his coronation occurring at a lavish ceremony in 2000. The "Government" led by Tomáš Harabiš established state institutions and issued passports to around 80,000 officially Czech citizens. A new currency, the Jurovalsar, was launched which was pegged to the euro at a rate of 1:1. Enthusiastic attempts to forge official ties with other countries have so far proved disappointing and the Kingdom of Wallachia enjoys no formal diplomatic recognition.

Tichá is a municipality and village in Nový Jičín District in the Moravian-Silesian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 2,000 inhabitants.

Kunčice pod Ondřejníkem is a municipality and village in Frýdek-Místek District in the Moravian-Silesian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 2,500 inhabitants.

The Maple Mountains, Javornik Mountains, or Javorniks (Czech and Slovak: Javorníky) are a mountain range of the Slovak-Moravian Carpathians that forms part of the border between the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Its highest point is Veľký Javorník at 1,071 meters (3,514 ft). The range stretches from the White Carpathians in the south to the Beskids in the north. The range divides the Bečva and Oder river systems from those of the Turiec and Váh along the European Watershed. Part of the range falls within the Slovak Kysuce Protected Landscape Area.

Radhošť (Czech pronunciation: [ˈradɦoʃc]) is a mountain in the Czech Republic. It has an elevation of 1,129 metres (3,704 ft) and belongs to the Moravian-Silesian Beskids mountain range. It is located in Dolní Bečva and Trojanovice municipalities in the Zlín and Moravian-Silesian regions, whose border runs along the ridge of the mountain.

Bordovice (German: Bordowitz) is a municipality and village in Nový Jičín District in the Moravian-Silesian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 700 inhabitants.

Kozlovice (German: Potzmannsdorf) is a municipality and village in Frýdek-Místek District in the Moravian-Silesian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 3,100 inhabitants.

Hukvaldy (German: Hochwald) is a municipality and village in Frýdek-Místek District in the Moravian-Silesian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 2,200 inhabitants. The municipality is known for the ruins of the third-largest castle in the Czech Republic, Hukvaldy Castle, and is the birthplace of the composer Leoš Janáček.

The statue of Radegast (Czech: socha Radegasta) is a statue of the alleged Slavic god Radegast located on Mount Radhošť in Dolní Bečva, Czech Republic, facing the summit. The statue was created by academic sculptor Albin Polasek, a professor at the Art Institute of Chicago from Frenštát pod Radhoštěm. The original statue is currently located in the town hall in Frenštát, and on Radhošť there is a replica of it, which is 3.2 metres (10 ft) high and weighs 3.38 tonnes. The second original statue, made at the same time, is located in the Prague Zoo.

Pustevny (1018 metres above sea level) is a mountain saddle in the Moravian-Silesian Beskids mountain range of the Czech Republic, not far from Radhošť, in the municipality of Prostřední Bečva. It was named after the Czech word for a hermit. Hermits lived here until the year 1874. For Pustevny, wooden buildings built in traditional folk style are typical. They were built and designed in the end of the 19th century by the architect Dušan Jurkovič. There is also a skiing area.
