The Kingdom of Wallachia (Czech: Valašské kralovství), named after the region of Moravian Wallachia, is a tongue-in-cheek recessionary association that was founded in 1997 by the photographer Tomáš Harabiš as an "elaborate practical joke". The location is in the southeast corner of the Czech Republic. Since foundation a reported 80,000 Czech citizens have acquired "Wallachian Passports". After the official proclamation of the Wallachian kingdom in 1997, actor Bolek Polívka was enthroned as King Boleslav I the Gracious with his coronation occurring at a lavish ceremony in 2000. The "Government" led by Tomáš Harabiš established state institutions and issued passports to around 80,000 officially Czech citizens. A new currency, the Jurovalsar, was launched which was pegged to the euro at a rate of 1:1. Enthusiastic attempts to forge official ties with other countries have so far proved disappointing and the Kingdom of Wallachia enjoys no formal diplomatic recognition.

Frenštát pod Radhoštěm (Czech pronunciation: [ˈfrɛnʃtaːt ˈpod radɦoʃcɛm]; German: Frankstadt (unter dem Radhoscht)) is a town in Nový Jičín District in the Moravian-Silesian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 11,000 inhabitants. The historic town centre is well preserved and is protected by law as an urban monument zone.

Radhošť (Czech pronunciation: [ˈradɦoʃc]) is a mountain in the Czech Republic. It has an elevation of 1,129 metres (3,704 ft) and belongs to the Moravian-Silesian Beskids mountain range. It is located in Dolní Bečva and Trojanovice municipalities in the Zlín and Moravian-Silesian regions, whose border runs along the ridge of the mountain.

Šipka is a cave located near Štramberk, Moravian-Silesian Region, Czech Republic, 440 m above sea level. In 1880, a mandible of a Neanderthal child was found there. The age of the child has been estimated to be between 9 and 10 years. The archeological work in Šipka was conducted from 1879 to 1893 by Karel Jaroslav Maška. The cave was probably alternatively inhabited by Neandertals and cave bears. The site also yielded Mousterian tools and traces of hearths. This was the first discovery of Neanderthal remains in their cultural context.

Kopřivnice (Czech pronunciation: [ˈkopr̝̊ɪvɲɪtsɛ]; German: Nesselsdorf) is a town in Nový Jičín District in the Moravian-Silesian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 21,000 inhabitants. It is an industrial town, known especially for the vehicle manufacturer Tatra.

Trojanovice is a municipality and village in Nový Jičín District in the Moravian-Silesian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 2,800 inhabitants.

Štramberk (Czech pronunciation: [ˈʃtrambɛrk]; German: Stramberg) is a town in Nový Jičín District in the Moravian-Silesian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 3,500 inhabitants. It is known for the production of Štramberk ears. The historic centre of Štramberk is well preserved and is protected as an urban monument reservation.
