Observatorio is a station on Line 1 of the Mexico City Metro system. It is located in the Álvaro Obregón borough of Mexico City, west of the city centre. This station is the western terminus of Line 1. In 2019, the station had an average ridership of 72,296 passengers per day, making it the eighth busiest station in the network. The station will become the terminal station of Line 12 in December 2023. The station will also connect with Observatorio railway station of the Toluca-Mexico City commuter rail system.

The Panteón Civil de Dolores is the largest cemetery in Mexico and contains the "Rotonda de las Personas Ilustres" (English: Rotunda of Illustrious Persons). It is located on Constituyentes Avenue in the Miguel Hidalgo borough of Mexico City, between sections two and three of Chapultepec Park.

The Secretariat of the Treasury and Public Credit (Spanish: Secretaría de Hacienda y Crédito Público, SHCP) is the finance ministry of Mexico. The Secretary of the Treasury is the head of the department, and is a member of the federal executive cabinet, appointed to the post by the President of the Republic, with the approval of the Chamber of Deputies. Recently, the institution has been promoting a financial inclusion policy and is now a member of the Alliance for Financial Inclusion. This position is analogous to the Secretary of the Treasury in the United States of America or to the finance ministers of other nations. Proposes and directs the Federal Government’s economic policy as regards finances, tax, spending, income and public debt and statistics, geography and information, in order to ensure quality, equitable, inclusive and sustained economic growth.Mexican Customs Bureau (Administración General de Aduanas) is part of the Mexican Tax Administration Service, the government body entrusted with the collection of taxes at the national level. Both departments answer to the Treasurer.

Álvaro Obregón is a future station of the Mexico City Metro in the borough of Álvaro Obregón, Mexico City. It will be an underground station with two side platforms, served by Line 12 (the Golden Line), between Observatorio and Valentín Campa stations. It will serve the colonias of Tolteca and Cristo Rey.The station will be named after the borough, which in turn was named after the 46th president of Mexico, Álvaro Obregón Salido. The expansion of Line 12 was approved in March 2013 and started in April 2016, and the station is expected to open in December 2023. The station was formerly known as "Alta Tensión" and "Olivar del Conde". Like the rest of the line, Álvaro Obregón station will be accessible.

The Cárcamo de Dolores (Sump of Dolores) is a hydraulic structure located on the Second Section of Chapultepec Park, in Mexico City, comprising the building designed by architect Ricardo Rivas, inside the originally underwater mural Agua, el origen de la vida ("Water, source of life") of Mexican muralist Diego Rivera, the art installation Cámara Lambdoma by Ariel Guzik, and in outside, the Tlaloc Fountain, also of Rivera.The building was constructed in 1951 to commemorate the end of the works in 1943 of the Lerma System, which still supply water to Mexico City and still flows in the place, but diverted from own building. It is part of the Museo de Historia Natural y Cultura Ambiental (Museum of Natural History and Environmental Culture).

Chapultepec, more commonly called the "Bosque de Chapultepec" (Chapultepec Forest) in Mexico City, is one of the largest city parks in the Western Hemisphere, measuring in total just over 686 hectares (1,695 acres). Centered on a rock formation called Chapultepec Hill, one of the park's main functions is as an ecological space in Greater Mexico City. It is considered the first and most important of Mexico City's "lungs". The area encompassing modern-day Chapultepec has been inhabited and considered a landmark since the pre-Columbian era, when it became a retreat for Aztec rulers. In the colonial period, Chapultepec Castle was built here, eventually becoming the official residence of Mexican heads of state. It would remain so until 1940, when it was moved to another part of the park called Los Pinos. Bosque de Chapultepec is divided into four sections, with the first section being the oldest and most visited. This section contains most of the park's attractions, including the castle, the Chapultepec Zoo, the Museum of Anthropology, and the Rufino Tamayo Museum, among others. It receives an estimated 15 million visitors per year. This prompted the need for major rehabilitation efforts that began in 2005 and ended in 2010. The government has authorized the construction of business, offices, and big parking lots for cars.

Miguel Hidalgo is a borough (demarcación territorial) in the Mexico City. It was created in 1970 when central Mexico City was divided into four boroughs. Miguel Hidalgo joined the historic areas of Tacuba, Chapultepec and Tacubaya along with a number of notable neighborhoods such as Polanco and Lomas de Chapultepec. With landmarks such as Chapultepec Park and the Museo Nacional de Antropología, it is the second most visited borough in Mexico City after Cuauhtémoc where the historic center of Mexico City is located. Tacubaya and Tacuba both have long histories as independent settlements and were designated as “Barrios Mágicos” by the city for tourism purposes.

The 10th federal electoral district of Mexico City (Spanish: Distrito electoral federal 10 de la Ciudad de México; previously "of the Federal District") is one of the 300 electoral districts into which Mexico is divided for elections to the federal Chamber of Deputies and one of 22 such districts in Mexico City. It elects one deputy to the lower house of Congress for each three-year legislative session by means of the first-past-the-post system. Votes cast in the district also count towards the calculation of proportional representation ("plurinominal") deputies elected from the fourth region. The current member for the district, re-elected in the 2024 general election, is Margarita Zavala of the National Action Party (PAN).

The museum Papalote Museo del Niño is located in Mexico City Bosques de Chapultepec. The museum is focused in learning, communication and working together through interactive expositions of science, technology and art for children.

Luis Barragán House and Studio, also known as Casa Luis Barragán, is the former residence of architect Luis Barragán in Miguel Hidalgo district, Mexico City. It is owned by the Fundación de Arquitectura Tapatía and the Government of the State of Jalisco. It is now a museum exhibiting Barragán's work and is also used by visiting architects. It retains the original furniture and Barragán's personal objects. These include a mostly Mexican art collection spanning the 16th to 20th century, with works by Picasso, Diego Rivera, José Clemente Orozco, Jesús Reyes Ferreira and Miguel Covarrubias. Located in the west of Mexico City, the residence was built in 1948 after the Second World War. It reflects Barragán's design style during this period and remained his residence until his death in 1988. In 1994 it was converted into a museum, run by Barragán's home state of Jalisco and the Arquitectura Tapatía Luis Barragán Foundation, with tours available only by appointment. In 2004, it was named a World Heritage Site by UNESCO because it is one of the most influential and representative examples of modern Mexican architecture.

Located in Mexico City, Archivo Diseño y Arquitectura is a space dedicated to exhibiting, researching and rethinking design in its many forms and outlets. Founded by Mexican architect Fernando Romero and his wife Soumaya Slim in 2012, Archivo houses two collections: a design collection of over 1,500 objects, both international and of Mexican origin, and the personal library of the well-known Mexican modernist architect, Enrique del Moral.

Parque Lira is a public park in the Tacubaya district of Mexico City, once a separate town from Mexico City. It is located on the 18th century estate of Vicente Lira. It is entered by a monumental archway designed by Italian architect Francesco Saverio Cavallari, an Italian architect who was active in Mexico 1857–1864.The land was part of what was once a vast estate, including the Casa de la Bola (now a cultural center), that once belonged to Mariana Gomez de la Cortina, the second Countess of Cortina. After her death on January 6, 1846, the land was subdivided, and part became property of the Lira Mora family, textile moguls, during the first part of the twentieth century. The gardens were adorned with a palace, bridges, water mirrors, a pergola and bronze fountains as well as a neoclassical grand archway at the entrance. During the Lázaro Cárdenas del Río government the land was expropriated and an asylum was established here for children with mental illnesses; which functioned until the offices of the Miguel Hidalgo borough were established adjacent to what is now the park.The park is located on the eponymous avenue and nearby is an eponymous Metrobús (BRT) stop.
