Luis Barragán House and Studio, also known as Casa Luis Barragán, is the former residence of architect Luis Barragán in Miguel Hidalgo district, Mexico City. It is owned by the Fundación de Arquitectura Tapatía and the Government of the State of Jalisco. It is now a museum exhibiting Barragán's work and is also used by visiting architects. It retains the original furniture and Barragán's personal objects. These include a mostly Mexican art collection spanning the 16th to 20th century, with works by Picasso, Diego Rivera, José Clemente Orozco, Jesús Reyes Ferreira and Miguel Covarrubias. Located in the west of Mexico City, the residence was built in 1948 after the Second World War. It reflects Barragán's design style during this period and remained his residence until his death in 1988. In 1994 it was converted into a museum, run by Barragán's home state of Jalisco and the Arquitectura Tapatía Luis Barragán Foundation, with tours available only by appointment. In 2004, it was named a World Heritage Site by UNESCO because it is one of the most influential and representative examples of modern Mexican architecture.

Constituyentes is a station on Line 7 of the Mexico City metro on the western outskirts of the city center. It serves Chapultepec Park and numerous attractions therein, as well as the Luis Barragán House and Studio. The station opened on 23 August 1985.The station is named after the nearby Avenida Constituyentes. The station's icon shows a quill, a pot of ink and a book, in reference to the Mexican constitutions of 1824, 1857 and 1917. Constituyentes serves the San Miguel Chapultepec and Ampliación Daniel Garza neighborhoods, in the Miguel Hidalgo borough. From 23 April to 17 June 2020, the station was temporarily closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Mexico.

The museum Papalote Museo del Niño is located in Mexico City Bosques de Chapultepec. The museum is focused in learning, communication and working together through interactive expositions of science, technology and art for children.

San Miguel Chapultepec is a colonia or neighborhood in Delegación Miguel Hidalgo in Mexico City. Its borders are: Avenida Constituyentes and Avenida Chapultepec on the west, bordering Chapultepec Park The Circuito Interior José Vasconcelos and Ave. Jalisco on the southeast, bordering the Condesa district (colonias Condesa and Hipódromo Condesa) and colonia Tacubaya Parque Lira on the southwest, bordering colonias Ampliación Daniel Garza, Observatorio and TacubayaThe colonia's streets carry the names of generals and governors of Mexico. The buildings mostly consist of houses, whether still used as residences or converted into offices. Being a central neighborhood where the Circuito Interior freeway, Ave. Constituyentes (a main through road to Santa Fe, Toluca and points west), and the Ejes viales 2 and 4 South, the area is saturated with traffic.

Los Pinos (English: The Pines) was the official residence and office of the President of Mexico from 1934 to 2018. Located in the Bosque de Chapultepec (Chapultepec Forest) in central Mexico City, it became the presidential seat in 1934, when Gen. Lázaro Cárdenas became the first president to live there. The term Los Pinos became a metonym for the Presidency of Mexico. Since December 2018, the former presidential complex has operated as a cultural space.

Kurimanzutto is an art gallery located in Mexico City and New York City specializing in contemporary art that represents 33 international artists. It was founded in 1999 by Mónica Manzutto and José Kuri as a gallery without a fixed space. In 2006 it occupied a warehouse in the Colonia Condesa which served as a project space and workshop. In 2008 it opened its main gallery space in Mexico City in the San Miguel Chapultepec neighborhood and in 2018 it opened a project space in New York City.

Miguel Hidalgo is a borough (demarcación territorial) in the Mexico City. It was created in 1970 when central Mexico City was divided into four boroughs. Miguel Hidalgo joined the historic areas of Tacuba, Chapultepec and Tacubaya along with a number of notable neighborhoods such as Polanco and Lomas de Chapultepec. With landmarks such as Chapultepec Park and the Museo Nacional de Antropología, it is the second most visited borough in Mexico City after Cuauhtémoc where the historic center of Mexico City is located. Tacubaya and Tacuba both have long histories as independent settlements and were designated as “Barrios Mágicos” by the city for tourism purposes.

The 10th federal electoral district of Mexico City (Spanish: Distrito electoral federal 10 de la Ciudad de México; previously "of the Federal District") is one of the 300 electoral districts into which Mexico is divided for elections to the federal Chamber of Deputies and one of 22 such districts in Mexico City. It elects one deputy to the lower house of Congress for each three-year legislative session by means of the first-past-the-post system. Votes cast in the district also count towards the calculation of proportional representation ("plurinominal") deputies elected from the fourth region. The current member for the district, re-elected in the 2024 general election, is Margarita Zavala of the National Action Party (PAN).

Aztlán Parque Urbano is an amusement park in Chapultepec, Mexico City, Mexico. The park first opened on March 20, 2024, and replaced the amusement park La Feria de Chapultepec that closed in 2019.

The Galería de Arte Mexicano (GAM) was founded by Carolina and Inés Amor in 1935, in Mexico City and has been the first gallery of Mexican art. The gallery building was the first building in Mexico of Andrés Casillas de Alba. The intention of the GAM is to establish national artists as well as the promotion of young artists. The collection of the GAM includes items of modern, Mexican and contemporary art. In January 1940 the gallery opened its first exhibition of Surrealist art organized by French writer and group leader André Breton, the Austrian Surrealist Wolfgang Paalen, artist and poet Alice Rahon, and the Peruvian poet César Moro. Altogether the GAM organized more than 900 exhibitions including well-known exhibitors like Diego Rivera, José Clemente Orozco, David Alfaro Siqueiros, Miguel Covarrubias, Miguel Condé, Rufino Tamayo, Jorge Flores, Frida Kahlo, Wolfgang Paalen, Agustín Lazo, Federico Cantú, Jesús Guerrero Galván, Luis Ortiz Monasterio, Emilio Rosenblueth and others.

Chapultepec, more commonly called the "Bosque de Chapultepec" (Chapultepec Forest) in Mexico City, is one of the largest city parks in the Western Hemisphere, measuring in total just over 686 hectares (1,695 acres). Centered on a rock formation called Chapultepec Hill, one of the park's main functions is as an ecological space in Greater Mexico City. It is considered the first and most important of Mexico City's "lungs". The area encompassing modern-day Chapultepec has been inhabited and considered a landmark since the pre-Columbian era, when it became a retreat for Aztec rulers. In the colonial period, Chapultepec Castle was built here, eventually becoming the official residence of Mexican heads of state. It would remain so until 1940, when it was moved to another part of the park called Los Pinos. Bosque de Chapultepec is divided into four sections, with the first section being the oldest and most visited. This section contains most of the park's attractions, including the castle, the Chapultepec Zoo, the Museum of Anthropology, and the Rufino Tamayo Museum, among others. It receives an estimated 15 million visitors per year. This prompted the need for major rehabilitation efforts that began in 2005 and ended in 2010. The government has authorized the construction of business, offices, and big parking lots for cars.

La Feria de Chapultepec (transl. Chapultepec Fair), simply branded as La Feria, was an amusement park in Mexico City, Mexico. Located in the middle of Chapultepec Park near the Constituyentes Metro station, it opened in 1964 as Juegos Mecánicos de Chapultepec (transl. Chapultepec Mechanical Games) and was originally operated by the Mexican government. In 1992 Grupo CIE bought it and changed the name to La Feria Chapultepec Mágico (transl. Magic Chapultepec Fair). In 2015, it was bought by Ventura Entertainment and renamed to its last name.On 28 September 2019 an accident on the Quimera roller coaster killed two people and injured two others. An investigation determined that design flaws by its designer along with a lack of maintenance by the personnel were likely to blame for the accident. On 13 October 2019, the amusement park authorities announced on their official website the definitive closure of the park after the Mexico City Government revoked their license. After Ventura Entertainment lost the license, the government sent a message to other park companies such as Six Flags, Cedar Fair, and Seaworld to take over the license of the property. After Bosque de Chapultepec reopened, most of La Feria's furniture and fences that separate the attractions are being dismantled and the property is being cleaned, and the new owner is yet to be announced, since the six companies that were interested asked for the period of selection, which was meant to be until 20 April of this year, to be extended because of the COVID-19 pandemic, so the government is yet to announce the new date.
