Creg Willey's Hill, Craig Wyllys, or Creg Willey's (Manx: Creg Willy Syl - Willy Sylvester's Rock) is situated close to the 10th milestone road-side marker after Sarah's Cottage on the Snaefell Mountain Course used for the Isle of Man TT races on the primary A3 Castletown to Ramsey road in the parish of German in the Isle of Man. Creg Willey's Hillclimb is a motor sport event run by the Manx Motor Racing Club held on a short stretch of the TT course approximately 1.45 miles (2.33km) in length. The participants run individually in the timed event starting at Glen Helen, then uphill to negotiate Sarah's Cottage, Creg Willey's and Lambfell before finishing on the Cronk-y-Voddy Straight.Creg Willey's Hill was part of the Highland Course and the Four Inch Course used for the Gordon Bennett Trial and Tourist Trophy car races held between 1904 and 1922. It was also part of the St. John's Short Course used between 1907 and 1910, and part of the Snaefell Mountain Course used since 1911 for the TT races and 1923 for the Manx Grand Prix.

Glen Helen (formerly Manx: Glen Rhenass (locally ) or Lambfell Glen) is one of a series of eighteen Manx National Glens owned and maintained by the Forestry Amenity and Lands Directorate of the Isle of Man Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture.

The 11th Milestone, Isle of Man (Drinkwater's Bend) is situated adjacent to the 13th Milestone on the primary A3 Castletown to Ramsey Road which forms the boundary between the parishes of Kirk German and Kirk Michael in the Isle of Man.

Sarah's Cottage (Manx: Ballavaish [baləˈveːʃ], 'farm of the steep sided hill') is situated between the 11th milestone and 12th milestones on Creg Willey’s Hill on the primary A3 Castletown to Ramsey Road in the parish of Kirk German in the Isle of Man.

Michael United A.F.C. are a football club from the village of Kirk Michael, Isle of Man in the parish of Michael in the Isle of Man. They compete in the Isle of Man Football League and wear a green, black and white kit. They play their home games at Lough Ny Magher, Balleira Road in Kirk Michael.

Handley's Corner (formerly Ballamenagh Corner) is situated just before the 12th Milestone road-side marker, measured from the startline at the TT Grandstand, on the Snaefell Mountain Course used for the Isle of Man TT races on the primary A3 road, in the parish of Michael, in the Isle of Man. The previous course landmark is the 11th Milestone and the next is McGuinness's, named in 2013 after TT rider John McGuinness, just preceding the next point at Barregarrow. The S-bend at Ballamenagh Corner, dominated by a high stone wall on the eastern side, was part of the Highland Course and the Four Inch Course used for the Gordon Bennett Trial and Tourist Trophy car races held between 1904 and 1922. The Ballamenagh Corner was part of the St John's Short Course used between 1907 and 1910 for the TT races. Later named Handley's Corner, it became part of the Snaefell Mountain Course used since 1911 for the TT and from 1923 for the Manx Grand Prix races. The area is dominated by the Ballamenagh and Shoughlaige-e-Caine farmland. The name derives from the TT race winner Wal Handley who, while riding a Rudge motorcycle, crashed heavily during lap 4 of the 1932 Senior TT race, sustained a back injury and subsequently retired from the race. The corner underwent road widening and reprofiling during the winter of 1953/1954 for the 1954 TT races. From the winter of 2003 to 2006, road repair work was carried-out on the primary A3 road from Barregarrow to Cronk-y-Voddy, including Handley's Corner and the 11th Milestone, by the Department of Transport.

Devil's Elbow (Manx: Glion Cam or Glen Cam the Winding Glen) is a hairpin bend situated on the primary A4 Peel to Kirk Michael coast road in the Isle of Man parish of German.The A4 road follows the island's west coast and the Devil's Elbow hairpin intersects Glion Cam, a small wooded glen and former quarry situated between Lower Ballakaighen and Skerrisdale Moar. The former Peel to Ramsey line of the Manx Northern Railway also runs parallel to the coast road from Knocksharry to Glen Wyllin near Kirk Michael at this point. This includes the nearby Gob-y-Deigan or the Donkey Bank and a further railway embankment at Lady Port on the western-edge of Glen Cam which is 70 ft high formed of 50,000 cubic yards of excavated material from a nearby railway cutting.The Devil's Elbow was part of the Short Highland Course as part of the Peel Loop used for Tourist Trophy car races held between 1905 and 1907. It was part of the 15-mile 1,470 yard St. John's Short Course used for motorcycle racing in the Isle of Man TT races between 1907 and 1910, situated at the 9th milestone, 416 ft above sea level.

The Blaber River is a minor river in the Isle of Man. The Blaber River rises on the eastern flank of Beary Mountain and runs north by north west before joining the River Neb at the head of Glen Helen.

Laurel Bank (archaic Manx: Cronk-y-Killey - ‘Killey’s Hill’) is situated between the 10th Milestone and 11th Milestone road-side markers on the primary A3 Castletown to Ramsey Road between Ballacraine and Glen Helen in the parish of Kirk German in the Isle of Man.

Gob-Y-Deigan Railway Station (Manx: Stashoon Raad Yiarn Ghob-Y-Deigan) was a station on the Manx Northern Railway, later owned and operated by the Isle of Man Railway; it served a beach near Kirk Michael in the Isle of Man and was an intermediate stopping place on a line that ran between St. John's and Ramsey.

Ballig (Manx: farm of the hollow, also known as Ballig Bridge) is a small hamlet of a few houses situated between the 8th and 9th Milestone road-side markers on the Snaefell Mountain Course between Ballacraine and Glen Helen. It is the site of a former notorious hump-back bridge used for the Isle of Man TT Races on the primary A3 Castletown to Ramsey and the road junction with the A20 Poortown Road in the parish of German in the Isle of Man. The former Ballig Bridge was part of the Highland Course and Four Inch Course used for the Gordon Bennett Trial and Tourist Trophy automobile car races held in the Isle of Man between 1904 and 1922. Also, Ballig Bridge was part of the St John's Short Course used between 1907 and 1910 and part of the Snaefell Mountain Course used since 1911 for the Isle of Man TT Races and 1923 for the Manx Grand Prix. The area is dominated by the farmland, including the Beary Mountain, St John's village, and Tynwald Mills. A number of changes occurred to the Mountain Course during the 1930s with extensive road widening on the A18 Mountain Road and the removal of the hump-back bridge and road straightening at Ballig for the 1935 racing season and the road work is completed for the Manx Grand Prix in September 1935. The George Formby film No Limit (1936 film) used the 1935 Isle of Man TT races as a backdrop for filming including Ballig Bridge.

Barregarrow (Manx: Bayr Garroo [bi ˈɡa(ː)ɾo]) is a district located between the 13th milestone and 14th milestones on the A3 Castletown to Ramsey road including the area of the Barregarrow cross-road junction and the C4 Ballaleigh Road and B10 Sartfield (Brandywell) or former Barregarrow mountain gate road in the parish of Kirk Michael in the Isle of Man.
