Canal Dime Savings Bank, also known as Eckerd's Drug Store, is a historic bank building located at Columbia, South Carolina. It was built between 1892 and 1895, and is a three-story, Romanesque Revival style brick building with a granite façade and red barrel tile roof. The building was purchased by Eckerd's Drug Store in 1936.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.

Kress Building is a historic commercial building located at Columbia, South Carolina across the street from the Columbia Museum of Art. It was built in 1934 by S. H. Kress & Co., and is a two-story, Art Deco style building faced with white terra cotta and colored terra cotta ornamentation. It features rounded storefront windows and cornice that contains the word "Kress" and surmounted by a stepped parapet.As of 2016, the bottom floor is a Brazilian Steakhouse and the 2nd floor houses apartments. A penthouse is planned for the roof. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.

It was designed by architect Julius Harder, and Wilson and Sompayrac served as supervising architects. Upon completion it was the tallest building in South Carolina.The Palmetto Building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980. Since the mid-2000s, it has housed the Sheraton Columbia Downtown Hotel.It was important in the architectural career of Charles Coker Wilson, establishing his credentials for steel frame skyscraper construction.

National Loan and Exchange Bank Building, also known as the Barringer Building, is a historic bank and office building located at 1338 Main Street, Columbia, South Carolina. It was built in 1903, and is a 12-story, steel frame building faced in brick and stone. It measures 184 feet high and is considered Columbia's first skyscraper. The building was owned by the Barringer Corporation from 1953 until 1974.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.

First National Bank, also known as the National Loan and Exchange Bank Addition, is a historic bank building located at Columbia, South Carolina. It was built about 1924, and is a two-story, stone faced Neoclassical style building consisting of a two-story central section with flanking one-story wings. The front façade features four monumental 3/4 detached Doric order columns.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.

Efird's Department Store, also known as Lourie's Department Store, is a historic department store building located at Columbia, South Carolina. It was built about 1870, and is a rectangular brick building renovated and expanded in 1919. This included the addition of a third story and the installation of a new brick façade and store entrances. Between 1919 and 1958, it housed the Columbia branch of the Charlotte, North Carolina based Efird's Department Store chain. It currently houses a Mast General Store, which moved in on May 25, 2011. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2012.

Consolidated Building is a historic commercial building located at Columbia, South Carolina. It was built in 1912, and is a two-story building faced with elaborate colored and glazed terra cotta. The second floor features a central tripartite round-headed window.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.

The James Petigru Boyce Chapel is a historic church building at 1306 Hampton Street in Columbia, South Carolina. It is a Greek Revival building built in 1859. A convention met here on December 17, 1860, whose delegates voted unanimously for South Carolina to secede from the United States, leading to the American Civil War. It was designated a National Historic Landmark as First Baptist Church, the role it played at the time. The building is part of the facilities complex of the First Baptist Church, Columbia- a Southern Baptist megachurch.
