Ormeau railway station is a railway station located on the Gold Coast line in Queensland, Australia. Despite the name, it serves the Gold Coast suburb of Pimpama.

Pimpama is a northern suburb in the City of Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. At the 2021 census, Pimpama had a population of 24,601. The name is of Aboriginal origin. The suburb contains numerous schools with the first opening in the 1870s. A small farming community grew in the area from the 1860s. It was once a stop for Cobb and Co coach services. Pimpama was the location of the state's first sawmill. Growing arrowroot had become popular from as early as the 1880s. By 1908, the region's arrowroot crop supplied the whole country. More recently the suburb has experienced high rates of housing development due to the availability of land and proximity to the motorway.

Coomera is an electoral district of the Legislative Assembly in the Australian state of Queensland, based at the northern end of the Gold Coast. The seat has been held by the Liberal National Party since its establishment in 2009.

It is located adjacent to the Coomera railway station and 500 metres from the Pacific Motorway that connects Coomera with the southern suburbs of the Gold Coast as well as Brisbane. Westfield Coomera was developed by the Scentre Group and is planned to be the heart of the booming northern region of the Gold Coast. The shopping centre opened on 11 October 2018.
