Coomera is an electoral district of the Legislative Assembly in the Australian state of Queensland, based at the northern end of the Gold Coast. The seat has been held by the Liberal National Party since its establishment in 2009.

Pimpama railway station is a planned railway station on the Gold Coast Line in Queensland, Australia. It will serve the Gold Coast suburb of Pimpama, and will be located between Ormeau and Coomera stations.

Gilmour Space Technologies is a venture-funded Australian space company headquartered in Queensland, Australia that is developing hybrid-engine rockets and associated technology to support the development of a low-cost space launch vehicle.Founded in 2012, Gilmour Space's function is to provide space launch services to the small satellite market – offering a range of Australian Made Eris orbital rockets, launched from Gilmour's private spaceport in north Queensland; and a modular G-Sat small satellite bus/platform.The maiden flight of its Eris rocket, which was unveiled by Prime Minister Anthony Albanese as Australia's first sovereign made orbital rocket, is planned for no earlier than 2024 from the Bowen Orbital Spaceport in Abbot Point, Bowen.Gilmour Space has near-term plans to develop a range of Eris launch vehicles capable of carrying larger satellites/payloads into Low Earth Orbits, and eventually provide space access for human spaceflight and exploration.

Westfield Coomera is a shopping centre in the Gold Coast suburb of Coomera in Queensland, Australia. It is located adjacent to the Coomera railway station and 500 metres from the Pacific Motorway that connects Coomera with the southern suburbs of the Gold Coast as well as Brisbane. Westfield Coomera was developed by the Scentre Group and is planned to be the heart of the booming northern region of the Gold Coast. The shopping centre opened on 11 October 2018.

Ormeau railway station is a railway station located on the Gold Coast line in Queensland, Australia. Despite the name, it serves the Gold Coast suburb of Pimpama.

Foxwell State Secondary College is a coeducational public secondary school based in Coomera on the Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia. The school has a total enrolment of more than 200 students, with an official count of 522 students in August 2021. The school's role of Principal is currently held by Kym Amor, who was appointed as the Foundation Principal of the school in 2019. The school also consists of three Deputy Principals, one Business Manager, one Head of Inclusion, five Heads of Department and one Guidance Officer.

Big Brother Australia 2007, also known as Big Brother 7, was the seventh season of the Australian reality television series Big Brother. Episodes were broadcast on Network Ten in Australia, and the first episode aired on 22 April 2007. Despite a drop in ratings compared to previous seasons, and a number of controversies, the then Big Brother executive producer Kris Noble considers the year's season a success. At the end of this season's finale broadcast 30 July 2007, it was announced by host Gretel Killeen that Big Brother would be returning for an eighth season in 2008. In the finale Aleisha Cowcher was announced winner of Big Brother Australia 2007. She won by the closest winning margin ever in the Australian version. The news the following day reported a margin of 51% versus 49% – a difference of 65 votes. This was the last season hosted by Gretel Killeen.

Big Brother Australia (also known simply as Big Brother) is an Australian reality show based on the international Big Brother format created by John de Mol. Following the premise of other versions of the format, the show features a group of contestants, known as "housemates" who live together in a specially constructed house that is isolated from the outside world. The housemates are continuously monitored during their stay in the house by live television cameras as well as personal audio microphones. Throughout the course of the competition, housemates are evicted from the house - eliminated from the competition. The last remaining housemate wins the competition and is awarded a cash prize. Big Brother was produced from 2001 and ran for eight seasons and a Celebrity edition on Network Ten before the network cancelled it in July 2008 after experiencing audience erosion and controversy. Big Brother returned in 2012 on the Nine Network. Nine's iteration of the series lasted 3 seasons and was not renewed beyond 2015. In 2019 the Seven Network picked up the series, which is produced by Endemol Shine Australia. All eleven previous seasons were produced by Endemol Australia and Endemol Southern Star. The twelfth season aired in 2020. The series was renewed for a 13th season in June 2020. Seven has also commissioned a new celebrity edition titled Big Brother VIP to air on 1 November 2021.The Ten and Nine iterations of the series used a compound located at the Dreamworld theme park, on the Gold Coast, Queensland, as the Big Brother House. It has since been abandoned and vandalised. In June 2019, the house was set ablaze and burnt down entirely. The entire compound was demolished by Dreamworld in August 2019. A new Big Brother House located on Sydney Harbour's North Head is used for Seven's iteration of the series in season 12, although this house has since been pulled down following season 13. The following VIP season was filmed at a newly built compound in Sydney Olympic Park, which has been the filming location for the main series since season 14. The fifteenth season aired between 6 November 2023 and 6 December 2023 and was won by Tay & Ari Wilcoxson. On 18 October 2023, the series was renewed for its sixteenth season at Seven's 2024 upfronts event. It will air sometime in 2024, the Uncut spin-off will also be returning for the second season in a row.

The College is located on Days Road in Upper Coomera, Queensland, Australia. Founded in 1997 and operated by the Anglican Diocese of Brisbane, the College caters for students from earning learning, Prep to Year 12.

Vintage Cars Adventure (a.k.a. Model T Lane, Model T Vintage Cars or simply Vintage Cars) is a vintage car ride at the Dreamworld theme park on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. The ride, which opened with Dreamworld in 1981, allows guests to drive around in replicas of 1911 Model T Fords.
