Parkfield Community School is a primary school in Saltley, Birmingham, West Midlands, England. In 2013, it became an academy school, which means it receives its funding directly from the central rather than local government, in contrast with a community school. The government authority Ofsted found that the school maintained high standards in inspections in 2016 and 2019. In 2019 98% of the students were Muslim.

The architect was George Bernard Cox of Harrison and Cox.It was Grade II listed in 2015 by Historic England.

Adderley Park railway station serves the Adderley Park area in the east of Birmingham, England. The station, and all trains serving it, are operated by West Midlands Trains. It was threatened with closure in 2004, but was given a reprieve (although its train service was reduced from half-hourly to hourly each way). The station will become the main railway station for the proposed City of Birmingham Stadium, if that is constructed. It lies on Bordesley Green Road, part of the B4145.

Little Bromwich is a small area in central-east Birmingham, England. It borders with Bordesley Green and Small Heath and there is a road named after it. It is also quite close to Yardley, and often confused with part of Bordesley Green. The Little Bromwich Centre is on Hob Moore Road. The area covered is from Hob Moore Road to Little Bromwich Road. The area is part of the Birmingham Hodge Hill parliamentary constituency; it is in the Bordesley Green and Heartlands council wards. Following the 2021 United Kingdom census, it was reported in 2022 that Little Bromwich had the smallest share of adults identifying as gay, lesbian or bisexual in England and Wales.

Al-Hijrah School was a voluntary-aided Islamic all-through school based in the Bordesley Green area of Birmingham, England. It was a specialist Science College with 767 pupils aged 4–16. It closed 31 August 2019.
