10 Milner Street, also known as Stanley House is a Grade II listed house in Milner Street, Chelsea, London, England. It is a double-fronted house in an Italianate style, and was built by the Chelsea speculator John Todd in 1855, for his own occupation.It was later home to Sir Courtenay Ilbert.From 1945, his nephew, the interior designer Michael Inchbald lived there, and continued to do so after Ibert's death.In 1960, the Inchbald School of Design was founded in the basement by his wife Jacqueline Ann Duncan (then Jacqueline Inchbald). The Inchbald School was founded in the old ground floor drawing room, which once housed the Ilbert Collection of clocks, watches, marine chronometers and sundials. It has been Grade II listed since 1969.

Brompton, sometimes called Old Brompton, survives in name as a ward in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea in London. Until the latter half of the 19th century it was a scattered village made up mostly of market gardens in the county of Middlesex. It lay south-east of the village of Kensington, abutting the parish of St Margaret's, Westminster at the hamlet of Knightsbridge to the north-east, with Little Chelsea to the south. The Survey of London gives a long list. Its name survives formally to this day, only just, in the shared reference to two of the council's electoral wards called, "Brompton" and "Hans Town".

Nell Gwynn House is a ten-storey residential building in Sloane Avenue, Chelsea, London, designed in the Art Deco style by G. Kay Green. Completed in 1937, it stands next to the same architect's Sloane Avenue Mansions, built a few years earlier.

Sloane Avenue is a road in London. Sloane Avenue runs roughly north-west to south-east from Brompton Road in Kensington to a junction with Elystan Place and Bray Place, and its short southern continuation, Anderson Street, joins the King's Road in Chelsea. It is one of the most exclusive garden squares in Knightsbridge, and houses on the square are valued at up to £40 million. The houses surrounding the gardens were built around 1886 as part of the development of Smith's Charity Estate.Nos 1, 3 and 5, and 2, 4 and 6, at the northern end of Lennox Gardens on opposite sides of the junction with Walton Street are listed Grade II on the National Heritage List for England as is No 8 opposite the rear of St Columba's Church. St Simon Zelotes is a traditional conservative evangelical Church of England church in Milner Street, Chelsea, London, England. It was built in 1858–59, designed by the architect Joseph Peacock, and is his "most complete surviving work".It has been grade II* listed since 1954.

St Thomas More Language College is a Roman Catholic secondary school in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. It is named after Thomas More who was beheaded by King Henry VIII when Lord Chancellor. Saint Thomas More lived in the Chelsea borough which is where the school is now located. Education for boys and girls has been provided at the school since 1845. The first foundation in 1885 was for 200 pupils and the school has been in existence since that time. The Sisters of Mercy, who ran a boarding school, decided to move from the site in 1954 so that the school could be modernised to accommodate 249 pupils. The school is situated in the middle of Chelsea, a short walk from Sloane Square, and is surrounded by a wide variety of galleries and museums. Many of the buildings have now been supplemented by modern buildings which house all the facilities for a mixed, comprehensive school. The school gained Language College specialist status in September 2004. St Thomas More RC School achieved Specialist status as a Language College in 2004. There are 37 different language backgrounds in college. These languages range across Europe, South America and Africa. The largest contingents are Portuguese, Spanish, Filipino and Eritrean.
