Buda Health Center

The National Center for Spinal Disorders is located in the 12th District of Budapest, Hungary, on Királyhágó Street. It is the only hospital in Hungary that covers virtually the entire diagnostic and treatment spectrum of spinal disorders from diagnosis and non-surgical and surgical treatments through to rehabilitation. It is financed by the National Health Insurance Fund.

Budapest Déli station (Hungarian: Budapest-Déli pályaudvar, lit. 'Budapest southern station'), known to locals and foreigners alike simply as the Déli is one of the three main railway stations in Budapest, Hungary. Located in the 1st District (Várkerület) of Budapest, the station is located in Buda, and primarily serves towns and cities in Transdanubia. The station was first opened in 1861 on the line towards Rijeka (then known as Fiume and part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire) on the Adriatic Sea. Significant damage to the station occurred in the Second World War, and the modern façade of the railway station (the only modern building in all of Budapest's major rail terminals) was eventually completed in 1975. The station is a major transport hub for the city, with BKV Zrt. trams and buses serving adjoining districts. A metro station (opened in 1972) is located underneath the terminal building, being the western terminus of the M2 (East-West) line of the Budapest Metro.

Déli pályaudvar (Southern railway station) is the western terminus of the M2 (East-West) line of the Budapest Metro. It serves the Déli railway station and its vicinity. The station was open on 22 December 1972 as the terminus of the extension of the line from Deák Ferenc tér.

The Rock Center or just the Rock (Hungarian: Sziklaközpont or Szikla [ˈsiklɒkøspont]), more precisely the Rock Center of Little Gellért Hill, originally known as the Citadel (Fellegvár), is a mostly subterranean military complex in the 11th district (Újbuda) of Budapest, Hungary. It is under Little Gellért Hill, the Western extremity of the well-known Gellért Hill. It is also known by the codename Deep 23 (Mély 23). The complex hosted the National Counter-Air Center and thus it is also known by that name. The Rock Center should not be confused with the nearby Citadella, which was never called Fellegvár (the Hungarian translation of the Italian word citadella), but which also has a military bunker, the Gellért Hill bunker under it. As of 2017, the premises are under the authority of Hungary's military intelligence agency, the Military National Security Service (Katonai Nemzetbiztonsági Szolgálat; KNBSZ). Although the complex was declassified, it is not open to the general public or members of the press.

Sashegy (aka Sas-hegy, German: Adlerberg; lit. "Eagle Hill") is a hill and neighbourhood in Budapest, Hungary. It is a green, upper middle class area in Buda with expensive family homes. Administratively Sashegy is divided between the 11th and the 12th districts of Budapest.

Naphegy (German: Sonnenberg, meaning "Sun Hill") is a hill and neighbourhood in Budapest, Hungary. It is part of Krisztinaváros and administratively belongs to the 1st District.

The Our Lady of the Snows Parish Church formerly called as the Blood Chapel, also called Krisztina Church (Hungarian: krisztinavárosi Havas Boldogasszony-plébániatemplom), is a Catholic Church located in the Krisztina Square, Krisztinaváros, Várkerület District (Buda Castle District), Budapest. It is a protected monument.

Krisztinaváros (English: Krisztina town) (German: Christinenstadt) is a neighborhood in central Budapest, situated just west of Castle Hill, north of Tabán. It is named after Archduchess Maria Christina, daughter of Maria Theresa, who interceded for buildings to be erected in this area. The history of Krisztinaváros is inseparable from that of the neighboring old Tabán, Naphegy and Gellérthegy.The central features are Krisztina tér and the entrance to the Castle Hill tunnel. It is also home to the Tabán Cinema, a small cinema that presents art films and documentaries. (Despite its name, this cinema belongs to Krisztinaváros, not Tabán.)

The Memorial for Victims of the German Occupation is a monument created in memory of the German invasion of Hungary, located in Budapest's Liberty Square. The memorial has sparked controversy and angered Jewish community organizations, with critics alleging that the monument absolves the Hungarian state and Hungarians of their collaboration with Nazi Germany and complicity in the Holocaust. Accordingly, many individuals and organizations leave improvised individual tributes to Holocaust victims along the edge of the site.

MTI (Magyar Távirati Iroda, literally "Hungarian Telegraphic Office") is a Hungarian news agency. One of the oldest news agencies in the world, it was founded in 1880.MTI was owned by MTI Rt., founded by the Parliament. The members of the Owners' Advisory Body are elected by the National Assembly of Hungary on four-year terms. It's a marketleader, and is considered by some sources to be a 'balanced and reliable source'. Still, it finds it difficult to raise subscriptions as most major Hungarian newspapers are foreign-owned. It must turn to the government for capital to overcome its technology deficit.According to a UNESCO report it faces competition both from independent and specialist news agencies (e.g. English-language on-line news sites, including the Budapest Business Journal, The Budapest Sun, websites of various television and radio stations), and from domestic Hungarian news services established by Reuters and AFP.On 1 July 2015, Magyar Távirati Iroda as well as the three other public media organizations managed by the MTVA were merged into a single organization called Duna Média. This organization is the legal successor to Magyar Távirati Iroda.
