St Bede's College, Bentleigh East (formerly St James College) is a campus of St Bede's College that caters for years 7–10, located in Bentleigh East, a suburb of Melbourne, Australia. The campus has around 470 students, and is administered by the De La Salle Brothers, a teaching order of Christian Brothers. The campus director as of 2012 is Stephen Pooley. At the beginning of 2021, St James College was amalgamated into St Bede's College in Mentone, operating as a second campus of that college.

Karkarook Park is a metropolitan park in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, located at the northwest corner of the southeastern suburb of Heatherton (formerly under Moorabbin), southeast of the intersection between Warrigal Road and Dingley Bypass, accessible to cars only via Fairchild Street on the south side. The park is a wetland reserve built around the Karkarook Lake, a 15 hectares (37 acres), 420 m (1,380 ft) wide artificial lake built from a pit created by sand mining between 1997 and 2001, filled in 2004 by groundwater pumped from a bore 500 metres (550 yd) to the southeast.

Oakleigh South Post Office opened on 1 September 1936.

Glen Eira Sports and Aquatic Centre (GESAC) is an aquatic centre that was developed by Hansen Yuncken and is owned by City of Glen Eira. It is a rival to Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre as it is contains a 50-metre outdoor pool, 25 metre indoor pool, water slides, leisure pools, gymnasium and a stadium. It was constructed at a total cost of $44m dollars, with significant contributions from Federal and Victorian State Governments. It is the first indoor pool in Glen Eira.

It is predominantly open space: market garden, golf courses (the Kingston Heath Golf Club and the Capital Golf Club) and the large Karkarook Park.

Aboriginal Gallery of Dreamings (AGOD) is an art gallery in Cheltenham, Melbourne, Australia, owned and run by art collector Hank Ebes. Founded in 1990, it was one of the first galleries in Melbourne to be devoted entirely to Aboriginal art.

Cheltenham Secondary College is a co-educational high school in Cheltenham, Victoria, Australia, catering for students in years 7 to 12. The school officially opened in 1959 as 'Cheltenham High School', and then later changed its name to Cheltenham Secondary College. The school is most famous for its Windsor-Cheltenham Exchange. The exchange in its 55th year is participated by Avenues College in Adelaide and Cheltenham where a range of sports and other activities are played out over a week to see who will win the Exchange Shield, Captains Plate and Exchange Cup.
