Masa (雅) is a Japanese and sushi restaurant located on the fourth floor of the Time Warner Center at 10 Columbus Circle (at West 60th Street and Broadway) in Manhattan in New York City.The restaurant was opened by Chef Masa Takayama in 2004 Located next door to the restaurant is Bar Masa, cheaper and offering an à la carte menu. In 2009, a second Bar Masa opened inside Aria in Las Vegas.

Brushstroke was a Japanese kaiseki restaurant located on Hudson Street in Manhattan, New York City. The owners of the restaurant were French chef David Bouley and Yoshiki Tsuji, who is president of Tsuji culinary school in Osaka Japan. Sushi Ichimura at brushstroke was opened inside of the restaurant Brushstoke in 2012. They employed the head chef Tokyo-trained Eiji Ichimura, who has been cooking sushi for over 40 years.

The Columbus Monument is a 76-foot (23 m) column installed at the center of Manhattan's Columbus Circle in the U.S. state of New York. The monument was created by Italian sculptor Gaetano Russo.

Asiate was a Contemporary American restaurant located in the Mandarin Oriental, New York hotel, on the 35th floor of 80 Columbus Circle (West 60th Street at Broadway) in Manhattan, New York City.It opened in December 2003. The Executive Chef is Cyril Renaud.

2 Columbus Circle is a 12-story building located on a small trapezoidal lot on the south side of Columbus Circle on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, New York City. Bordered by 58th Street, 59th Street, Broadway, and Eighth Avenue, it stands on the site of the former seven-story Grand Circle Hotel. It opened in 1964, after A&P heir Huntington Hartford hired architect Edward Durell Stone to build a museum for him at the site. Controversy was sparked in 2002 after the Museum of Arts and Design (MAD) purchased the building and planned to significantly alter its design, including modifying its facade. Calls had been made since 1996 for the building to be landmarked, so its proposed landmark status was brought into question with this renovation. The renovations were completed in 2008.

The Columbus Circle globe is a sculpture of a globe by Kim Brandell, installed outside Trump International Hotel and Tower at Columbus Circle in Manhattan, New York City. The globe is a homage to the Unisphere, located in Donald Trump's home borough of Queens. Prior to installation, Brandell held a party for the sculpture at her studios in South Beach, Miami.

The Shops at Columbus Circle is an upscale shopping mall in Deutsche Bank Center, a skyscraper complex in Manhattan, New York City. It is located at Columbus Circle, next to the southwestern corner of Central Park.

The USS Maine National Monument is an outdoor monument located at the Merchants' Gate entrance to Central Park, at Columbus Circle, in Manhattan, New York City. It was cast on September 1, 1912 and dedicated on May 30, 1913 to the men killed aboard USS Maine (ACR-1) when the ship exploded in Havana harbor.In 1913, a USS Maine Monument designed by Harold Van Buren Magonigle was completed and dedicated in New York City. The monument consists of a pylon with a fountain at its base and sculptures by Attilio Piccirilli surrounding it. A sculpture group of gilded bronze figures atop the pylon represent Columbia Triumphant, her seashell chariot being drawn by three hippocampi, modeled by Audrey Munson. The bronze for this group reportedly came from metal recovered from the guns of the Maine. On the park side of the monument is fixed a memorial plaque that was cast in metal salvaged from the ship. It is not known how many of these plaques by sculptor Charles Keck were produced, but they can be found in many locations across the United States. They were cast by the Jno Williams Bronze Foundry and widely publicized.On April 22, 2021, the memorial was vandalized during a protest in Columbus Circle. The memorial was sprayed with graffiti including "ACAB" (meaning all cops are bastards) and "Stonewall was a Riot" (in reference to the Stonewall Riots that occurred in Greenwich Village on June 28, 1969).

Columbus Circle is a traffic circle and heavily trafficked intersection in the New York City borough of Manhattan, located at the intersection of Eighth Avenue, Broadway, Central Park South (West 59th Street), and Central Park West, at the southwest corner of Central Park. The circle is the point from which official highway distances from New York City are measured, as well as the center of the 25 miles (40 km) restricted-travel area for C-2 visa holders. The circle is named after the monument of Christopher Columbus in the center, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The name is also used for the neighborhood that surrounds the circle for a few blocks in each direction. Hell's Kitchen (also known as "Clinton") is located to the southwest, while the Theater District is to the southeast and the Lincoln Square section of the Upper West Side is to the northwest.

Reisenweber's Cafe, also known as Reisenweber's Restaurant or simply Reisenweber's, was a restaurant, nightclub, and hotel in Columbus Circle, Manhattan, on the intersection of Eighth Ave and 58th Street, from 1856/7 to 1922.Reisenweber's Cafe was known for introducing and/or popularizing jazz, cabaret, and Hawaiian dance in New York City, the modern cover charge, and for its high-profile Volstead Act lawsuit and shutdown decree during Prohibition.
