Uwchlan Meetinghouse is an historic Quaker meeting house located on North Village Avenue (Pennsylvania Route 113) at Lionville in Uwchlan Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania. It was built in 1756, and is a 2+1⁄2-story, rubble fieldstone structure with a gable roof. Monthly as well as weekly meetings for business matters were first held there. So, too, were weddings and burials.

Byers Station Historic District is a national historic district located in Upper Uwchlan Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania, United States. The district includes 26 contributing buildings in the crossroads community of Byers Station. The buildings date to the 19th century and include a number of notable Italianate style buildings. Notable buildings include a variety of residences, a factory, a Masonic lodge (1894), and the former Byers Hotel (c. 1874). The community grew around the Byers railroad station, after its opening in 1871, and continued after plumbago (graphite) was discovered in the area in 1875.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2002.

Eagle (also "Uwchland", "Windsor" or the "Village of Eagle") is an unincorporated community and census-designated place in Upper Uwchlan Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania, United States. As of 2020, Eagle had a population of 498.Located at 40°4′40″N 75°41′16″W, the center of the village is the intersection of Pottstown Pike (Pennsylvania Route 100) and Little Conestoga Road, where the historic Eagle Tavern is located. Eagle has recently experienced tremendous development in the surrounding areas. A bypass of Route 100 was constructed in the first decade of the 2000s to reduce traffic and preserve historic structures such as the Eagle Tavern.

Eagle Tavern in Eagle, Pennsylvania, is a historic tavern built in 1702 situated at the intersection of Pottstown Pike and Little Conestoga Road. The current building was built over the original structure in 1799. The original Eagle Tavern liquor licence dates to August 17, 1727. It was a hangout for the notorious outlaws, the Doan brothers, who operated before the Revolutionary War.In the first decade of the 2000s a bypass was built to reduce traffic on Pottstown Pike without damaging historic structures, such as the Eagle Tavern.John Bull of The Philadelphia Inquirer praised the cuisine as "delightful." He praised the Steak Morgan as a "dish fit for a king" and the Chicken Chesapeake was nearly as good.A fire caused extensive smoke damage to the building on March 9, 2010. The fire caused by a burning cigarette was later ruled accidental. The tavern reopened several months later after extensive renovations. In 2018, the Eagle Tavern was taken over by Matt Krueger of Victory Brewing Company, who gutted the interior and installed a new bar.In 2020, the Eagle Tavern was acquired by new owners and renamed Bloom Southern Kitchen.

The Larkin Covered Bridge is a 60-foot-long (18 m), Burr truss wooden covered bridge that is located outside of Chester Springs, Chester County, Pennsylvania, near the village of Eagle. The bridge, which originally crossed over Marsh Creek, now spans a dry ditch and is a feature of the Upper Uwchlan Township trail system.

Beth Israel Congregation is a Conservative synagogue located at 385 Pottstown Pike (Route 100) in Upper Uwchlan Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania, in the United States. The congregation was founded in Coatesville in 1904 as Kesher Israel by Eastern European immigrants, and formally chartered as "Beth Israel" in 1916. It constructed its first building in 1923, and expanded it after World War II.Linda Joy Holtzman was appointed rabbi in 1979, the first female rabbi appointed to lead a Conservative congregation in the United States. Holtzman served until 1985, and was succeeded by Michael Charney. The congregation purchased its current property in 1989, and completed its facility there in 1995. Charney was succeeded in 2015 by Jon Cutler.

Lionville is a census-designated place (CDP) in Uwchlan Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 6,189 at the 2010 census. Prior to 2010 the CDP was recorded as Lionville-Marchwood. "Marchwood", however, refers only to the housing development begun in the early 1960s that is located south of the 100-113 intersection. Lionville is bisected by two major local highways, PA 100 and PA 113. The area contains residential neighborhoods, hotels, restaurants, and other businesses. The original name of the village was Welsh Pool, but to honor the local Red Lion Inn the name was changed to Lionville, since a borough of Red Lion, Pennsylvania, already existed. The area of Lionville along Village Avenue is a protected historic district. The Friends Meeting House was used as a hospital by the Continental Army during the American Revolutionary War. Lionville has an independent ZIP code and post office, but it has never had mail delivery. Many of the long-term residents who picked up mail at the now-closed general store or fire station locations now use a Downingtown address. Because much of the area also falls under the Exton ZIP code, many Lionville businesses use the Exton name instead, especially if they do not have other locations in the area.

It includes all of Chester County and the southeastern portion of Berks County including the city of Reading and its southeastern suburbs. The district is represented by Democrat Chrissy Houlahan, who has served in Congress since 2019. As currently drawn, the district is among the wealthiest in Pennsylvania. The Supreme Court of Pennsylvania redrew the district in February 2018 after ruling the previous map unconstitutional.Jim Gerlach served as the district's Representative from 2003 to 2014. In 2004 and 2006, Gerlach won re-election against fellow attorney and now Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas Judge Lois Murphy. In 2008, he successfully ran for re-election against businessman and veteran Bob Roggio. In the 2010 and 2012 elections, Gerlach defeated physician and Iraq War veteran Manan Trivedi, the Democratic nominee. In January 2014, Gerlach announced that he would not stand for reelection to the 114th Congress. In the race to succeed Gerlach, Chester County Commissioner Ryan Costello won the Republican nomination and physician and Iraq war veteran Manan Trivedi secured the Democratic party's nomination.In February 2018, following the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania's ordered redrawing of congressional districts, Costello announced he would not stand for reelection and retire at the end of the 115th Congress, leaving businessman Greg McCauley as the sole Republican candidate while the Democrats nominated Air Force veteran Chrissy Houlahan. Houlahan defeated McCauley in the general election.

Upper Uwchlan Township (; [ˈɪuxlan]) is a township in Chester County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 11,227 at the 2010 census. The township included the community of Milford Mills before it was inundated by the creation of the Marsh Creek Dam in 1972. The main population center of the township has grown surrounding the historic Eagle Tavern at the intersection of Route 100 and Little Conestoga Road. This major unincorporated community is known as the village of Eagle, but also sometimes known as Uwchlan. That is the address of the local post office.
