Beth Israel Congregation is a Conservative synagogue located at 385 Pottstown Pike (Route 100) in Upper Uwchlan Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania, in the United States. The congregation was founded in Coatesville in 1904 as Kesher Israel by Eastern European immigrants, and formally chartered as "Beth Israel" in 1916. It constructed its first building in 1923, and expanded it after World War II.Linda Joy Holtzman was appointed rabbi in 1979, the first female rabbi appointed to lead a Conservative congregation in the United States. Holtzman served until 1985, and was succeeded by Michael Charney. The congregation purchased its current property in 1989, and completed its facility there in 1995. Charney was succeeded in 2015 by Jon Cutler.

Eagle Tavern in Eagle, Pennsylvania, is a historic tavern built in 1702 situated at the intersection of Pottstown Pike and Little Conestoga Road. The current building was built over the original structure in 1799. The original Eagle Tavern liquor licence dates to August 17, 1727. It was a hangout for the notorious outlaws, the Doan brothers, who operated before the Revolutionary War.In the first decade of the 2000s a bypass was built to reduce traffic on Pottstown Pike without damaging historic structures, such as the Eagle Tavern.John Bull of The Philadelphia Inquirer praised the cuisine as "delightful." He praised the Steak Morgan as a "dish fit for a king" and the Chicken Chesapeake was nearly as good.A fire caused extensive smoke damage to the building on March 9, 2010. The fire caused by a burning cigarette was later ruled accidental. The tavern reopened several months later after extensive renovations. In 2018, the Eagle Tavern was taken over by Matt Krueger of Victory Brewing Company, who gutted the interior and installed a new bar.In 2020, the Eagle Tavern was acquired by new owners and renamed Bloom Southern Kitchen.

The Larkin Covered Bridge is a 60-foot-long (18 m), Burr truss wooden covered bridge that is located outside of Chester Springs, Chester County, Pennsylvania, near the village of Eagle. The bridge, which originally crossed over Marsh Creek, now spans a dry ditch and is a feature of the Upper Uwchlan Township trail system.

Eagle has recently experienced tremendous development in the surrounding areas. A bypass of Route 100 was constructed in the first decade of the 2000s to reduce traffic and preserve historic structures such as the Eagle Tavern.

Byers Station Historic District is a national historic district located in Upper Uwchlan Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania, United States. The district includes 26 contributing buildings in the crossroads community of Byers Station. The buildings date to the 19th century and include a number of notable Italianate style buildings. Notable buildings include a variety of residences, a factory, a Masonic lodge (1894), and the former Byers Hotel (c. 1874). The community grew around the Byers railroad station, after its opening in 1871, and continued after plumbago (graphite) was discovered in the area in 1875.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2002.

Wheelen House, also known as Fellowship Farm, is a historic home located in Upper Uwchlan Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania, United States. It was built about 1750, and is a 2+1⁄2-story, random and coursed fieldstone structure in the Georgian style. It has a gable roof, end chimneys, and a 1+1⁄2-story kitchen wing. The house was restored in the late 1940s to early 1950s.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1974.

Marsh Creek Lake is a man-made lake that resulted from the construction of a dam across Marsh Creek, filling a valley that prompted the relocation of residents from Milford Mills, Pennsylvania to higher ground. The reasons for creating the lake were "... frequent flooding, water shortages and lack of recreational opportunities for nearby population centers...."The lake is bordered by Marsh Creek State Park to the east and Lyndell, Pennsylvania to the west.

Eagleview is a census-designated place (CDP) in Uwchlan Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 1,644 at the 2010 census.Eagleview was created as "... an old fashion town where you can work, live, shop, see your elders, and care for the young all in the same place." According to a Landsat imagery, the Eagleview shopping center represents a medium density development that generated 400 square feet more living space per acre per the source than lower density developments also shown in the same imagery. Stevens, in his book on a study of how to make communities safer in new urban developments uses Eagleview, along with Weatherstone, as sample data for comparing amount of green space for every acreage of development. The community was listed in volume 6 of the New Urban News as an example of this new type of housing development.The shopping district inside the census designated place of the same name contains a mixed use community of stores, restaurants, and residential units with "walkable streets" and green spaces according to the official website.
