Porto Airport

Pedras Rubras (Portuguese for Reddish stones) is a Portuguese locality and suburb in the Moreira parish, in the Maia Municipality of the Greater Porto subregion. The Porto Airport (OPO) (Sá Carneiro International Airport, formerly known as Pedras Rubras Airport) terminal and part of runway is located in Pedras Rubras.

Perafita, Lavra e Santa Cruz do Bispo is a civil parish in the municipality of Matosinhos, Portugal. It was formed in 2013 by the merger of the former parishes Perafita, Lavra and Santa Cruz do Bispo. The population in 2011 was 29,407, in an area of 22.65 km². Leça da Palmeira (Portuguese pronunciation: [ˈlɛsɐ dɐ paɫˈmɐjɾɐ]) is a former civil parish in the municipality of Matosinhos in the Greater Porto area, Portugal. In 2013, the parish merged into the new parish Matosinhos e Leça da Palmeira. It has 5.97 km² and had 17.215 inhabitants in the 2001 census. It has a rich cultural heritage, namely Fort of Leça da Palmeira, Piscinas de Marés (Swimming Pools on the Beach) developed by the well-known architect Siza Vieira, Boa Nova Tea House (also developed by Siza Vieira), Quinta da Conceição Municipal Park (by Fernando Távora) and other religious monuments as Corpo Santo, Santana, and Boa Nova churches. It is home of the international Leixões seaport, the country's second largest; Petrogal, and an oil refinery. In sport, the parish includes a football club, Leça FC, and a basketball club, Grupo Desportivo de Basquete de Leça.

The Leça Lighthouse (Portuguese: Farol de Leça), also known as the Farol de Boa Nova, is a lighthouse on the Atlantic coast located in Leça da Palmeira, in the municipality of Matosinhos in the Porto District of Portugal. It is the second tallest lighthouse in Portugal.

Casa de Chá da Boa Nova (Boa Nova Tea House) is a restaurant designed by the Portuguese architect Álvaro Siza Vieira. Situated on the Atlantic coast of Portugal, it is in the Leça da Palmeira parish in the municipality of Matosinhos in the Porto District. The building is close to the Tidal pools of Leça da Palmeira designed by the same architect, and the Leça Lighthouse, another local landmark. It has been classified as a national monument since 2011.

The Tidal pools of Leça da Palmeira (Portuguese: Piscinas de Maré de Leça da Palmeira) is swimming area on the beach of Leça da Palmeira, along the coast of the civil parish of Matosinhos e Leça da Palmeira, municipality of Matosinhos, in the Portuguese northern district of Porto. The structures consist of two natural pools filled with fresh sea water, designed and built between 1959 and 1973 by Portuguese architect Álvaro Siza Vieira. Situated 1 kilometre (0.62 mi) from the Boa Nova tearoom and restaurant, it is considered one of Siza Vieira early projects.

Senhora da Hora (Portuguese pronunciation: [sɨˈɲoɾɐ ðɐ ˈɔɾɐ]) is a former civil parish in the municipality of Matosinhos in the Greater Porto area, Portugal. In 2013, the parish merged into the new parish São Mamede de Infesta e Senhora da Hora. It was promoted from town (vila) to city (cidade) status on 12 June 2009. It lies just north of the Porto city limits and is densely populated. It is a major suburban habitational area with many houses and some commerce. Senhora da Hora is very developed and is well connected by road, bus and Porto Metro to the nearby cities of Matosinhos, São Mamede de Infesta, Porto, Maia, Vila do Conde, the Porto Airport (OPO), and the port of Leixões all north of the Douro river. The large developed town of Águas Santas is also in Grande Porto.

Custóias is a former civil parish in the municipality of Matosinhos in the Greater Porto area, Portugal. In 2013, the parish merged into the new parish Custóias, Leça do Balio e Guifões. Custóias is a town since 2003. The town is 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) from Matosinhos and 8 kilometres (5.0 mi) from Porto.
